They are not changing sticker prices so when you ask for the money they owe you they have an attitude. They want you to bring your own bags but when you walk in with your bags they try to take them from you. They want you to leave your backpack at the front but not behind the counter so anyone can steal your stuff and they don't replace it. But as long as scums that come there don't steal from the store they can steal from you.

Disheveled and unkempt. Family Dollar needs a supervisor or store manager. Their shelves are a disorganized mess, their ceiling is missing lights, the floors are littered with unswept debris, and their products are haphazardly strewn about.The staff are courteous and quick. Unfortunately the store is in such disarray that the friendly staff cannot help locate items that should be in stock. It’s an Easter egg hunt to track down where a product might be hiding. Whoever is responsible for stocking the shelves has been simply setting items wherever there’s a space. This disorganization makes it nearly impossible to find the items on my list.The only good thing about Family Dollar is the kind staff. Each employee I meet is always so nice and professional. You can tell they believe in custom service. You can also tell they wish their store was organized.

The store needs a little renovation like their doors needs to be replaced with new ones. Their inside floors needs to be cleaned!! The store has a poor management. They also need new cash registersThose "touch screens" are getting old and they're war torn by individual employees. Their store windows needs periodically washings and squeegee that be inside and outside of the store.

Angel and Penny worked together as a team to make me feel like a valued customerI'm huge on the coupons and when I see a great deal well....They took the time to address a discount that I was expecting without any sort of exasperation, in a flawless hassle free waykeeping not just me but the other customers waiting in line content!Kudos

I had a gift card and cash to spend Plus snap benefits. It was a chore for the cashier because she ended up having to cash everything one by one item out twice because the gift card was malfunctioning. But she was very good natured about it smiling and talking to me the whole time which made the whole incident more enjoyable.

So I went to grab a few things I needed from family dollar last night and the manager of the store actually rang up my purchase. Really nice guy, always friendly with families and their children. The defining factor for me when it came to his personal character assessment...lol, was when he rang me up for the same item twice. I immediately noticed something was off about the price and said as much. He disagreed. So I then went just outside the front door to check my receipt and my items. Sure enough there was an item he charged me twice for. I went back in and brought it too his attention. He politely requested that I give him a moment to go check the cameras so that he could confirm this. I instantly wanted to take offence, thinking " really man, you think I'm gonna try and rip you off for 3$...."! At the same time I realized that it's clearly a part of protocol for him to check. A moment later he came back and refunded my money without question and a warm smile. This is how things should always be handled. This man exorcised appropriate conduct in handling the situation. I can appreciate that and am thankful for his efforts.

I like family Dollar due to their very nice and kind and they make you laugh and they have an amazing customer experience they make me feel right at home every time I walk in keep up the good work all you got store workers you're amazing and Happy Thanksgiving

The night manager (w shaved hair & lady w gray hair/glasses at register) gave wonderful customer service. We had a question on a product and they really went out of their way to help us, we will return thanks!

I've literally been waited on and tested it: will this customer service associate cash me out without a single word? Yup!!! They certainly will. No have a nice day, did you find everything okay, etc. But I haven't been back since the last time I was there, the cash out process IS a JOKE, and not a good one. You WILL stand there 5-15 minutes waiting for an employee to be 'ready' to cash you out. I've contemplated leaving my basket right in line and leaving before this incident.Someone's always counting down their drawer, waiting on a manager to open the safe, put a code in, etc. 2 months ago I among a crowd, literally stood there while 2 girls behind the counter chatted it up complaining about another employee that wasn't there. They saw the growing line while the older male cashier waited on everyone, they waited for him to 'put his code in.' While one was 'going off the clock.' They were rude and I made it clear he needs to clean house starting with those younger female cashiers. They just smirked to each other. He made a bland excuse for them. Haven't been back, won't go back, not even to break a bill for the laundry mat around the corner... I will drive past it, through the square or down arsenal on a weekday afternoon, before I'll ever go there again.

Corporate needs to evaluate their poor choice of employees at this store. They were very hostile and intimidating to a person they thought was a thief their words not mine. It was a case of mistaken identity and they threw out a good customer. I think this person should sue for the embarrassment they caused…I have the videos of what went down and this person will win. Family Dollar rt 11 Watertown NY. EMPLOYEE AND MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED

Unfortunately, I have to say how disrespectful The employees were today. They made my sister leave her bag up in the front on the store while two other people clearly had bags larger and as larger as hers walking around. We felt very discriminated against.

Another very nice trip to my downtown family dollar this Friday.my wife found everything that she needed with ease ,as usually.the manager Jamie is a nice respected man and does his job profsion aly.I have to give them a five-star based on the manager's performance and friendliness of the staff. Which all were in guidelines of the corona 19 rules..

Since the part of Watertown no longer has a grocery store. This Family dollar store. Stepped up and has filled in the gap. We are grateful every day!

Manager. Zack is calling Crossman's Towing and Taking a kickback on the tow jobs. He texts the towing company to grab peoples vehicles if they do not come into family dollar. He is making 100's of dollars a week on just the tow jobs on top of his pay from Family Dollar Inc!! You should find better Management at your stores!!!

Chain store. Many people live and work in the area so it's nice for them to have a place to shop within walking distance. They have a limited selection but it's good for a quick trip.

It's conveniently located but a hole in the wall. It needs major renovating. We had a major rain storm and you could still see where it flooded inside.
