I think there are only two employees there at night who are overworked. I needed help with an item at self-checkout that wasn’t in the system so it wouldn’t scan. Me and my partner were very polite, apologetic and patient while one worker grabbed a replacement item to scan. The older woman who works there needs a vacation because she acted as if we killed someone. The replacement item was way more expensive, but I just wanted to get out of there. I genuinely thanked her on the way out, feeling actually bad- just to be ignored. Finally when I got home the only product I bought, ice cream, was a month expired. I never leave bad reviews. I worked retail for 8 years, and it sucks! But this should have been a simple transaction and it was a nightmare from start to finish with hostility on top. :-(

Excellent stores, nice staff, great selection. We were visiting from Canada, went to 3 stores in two towns. All are excellent, staff used a generic store card to ensure we get the best prices and deals as their regular patrons! We will definitely return and recommend this store name to all our friends! Thank you, you are the Tops!!!

If you shop here, you need to check the expiration date on every product. Many are nearly expired or already expired. I don’t have time for that. The produce is horrible, lack of selection, store does not look clean, the parking lot is run down, the staff has little or no customer service skills, and the checkout lines are a joke (never more than one or two cashiers open).Save yourself some time/grief and shop at Walmart or Wegmans instead.

I love shopping here. For a smaller store, the selection is great and I've never had an issue with expired items or bad quality here. The prices are a little high, but yes, they are high everywhere right now in October 2023. If you have a Bonus Card, it does help significantly lower your total and it's free to get one. The staff here is always nice too.I come here for produce and meats often- it is WAY better than Wal-Mart produce. The freshly made donuts are also very yummy.

Store is always well stocked and the cashier's are friendly. Don't use the self checkout kiosks, they are archaic.

I was in there store tonight, and went to the checkout just about finished my checkout and a manager came up to my family and yelled at us "DIDNT YOU SEE THE RED LINE", Referring to the barrier the co worker put up after we had already checked out, very very rude staff I will not be giving this location my business ever again.

Today my boyfriend and I had the great idea of fish fry for lunch. I remembered Tops had always been recommended to me so we called and placed the order for two fish dinners. Staff was super polite on the phone, and also when we showed up to pick the order up our cashier was very friendly and made some good recommendations of other foods at the deli. The fish fry dinners themselves were immaculate. My boyfriend used the word "breathtaking"! Five stars all the way around! Great service, Amazing food!

We have gotten old meat (several packages of ground beef pink on outside brown and old inside), found mold on cheese, rotting vegetables, and expired dairy here. This is the last time we shop here.Once again I meal planned for the week around protein purchased here and after one day in the fridge it is mostly brown and slimy and stinks. Almost $20 in the trash and I have to go to another store to get meat. Unacceptable.

Prices have gone insane. Corporate has no desire to actually reinvest in this location like the other ones in the area. Some week days you are lucky to have a cashier outside of self checkout. Even some of the store brand products have dropped in quality. You would think buying power from the merger would make prices go down, not up... Company is basically milking the location for every cent they can, despite the fact many in the area can't afford to shop there.

I always have what I need whenever I stop at this tops, which is only a few times a year at most. I don’t live in the area anymore and I only stop at the tops when I do my Sauders run

I was forced to use self check out at 8:30 PM on a Sunday night . If you have no cashiers just close the store. .. bad businessUpdate ...why did I go backSelf check out, the end of customer service .The "person", not really can call them a 'cashier" , just looking at her phone could of checked out the 4 people going though the slelf check out ...... why even have someone at self check out of they do nothing ? Customer service at its finest .Again another visit I regret....forced rouse self checkout while front end associate text or is on her phone. I'd be less upset if they were notmpaying this person to literally do nothing ! She could be checking out the customer. Waste of money and lack of customer service. Which is why I normally do not shop here .

I love this tops. The new setup is nice. Especially with having the bottle return in it's own area. That's nice. I love the amount of handicap spots. I really appreciate it! Customer service is nice. The new self checkout is interesting. I still get yelled at though. Lol but I'm thankful there's an employee right there paying attention every time!

The store is usually pretty clean and tidy. The staff is helpful and they have a great selection of various foods. They're produce always looks great and they have a large variety of baked goods which are great as well. Although, I was not a fan of the cake donuts that I got. They were reduced price, but we ate them the day I got them and it wasn't that they were getting old, it was more the flavor of them.

Very nice store and I shop there often. While the interior is clean, the front lobby and cart storage area needs to swept and cleaned up. First impressions are everything and short of a total make-over/upgrade, the area inside the front doors needs to look cleaner. Consider cleaning the glass, sweeping the floor and even buffing the tile floor. The same mess has been there for over a year. Strange disregard for this unwelcoming area.

I find the store to be neat and clean. Produce is presented beautifully, the bakery and staff are the best, and the meat department is excellent. Fresh, and cut to my request. The staff are helpful and pleasant. I find some prices are to high, so I price shop and use coupons. Their special sales are usually good.

Aisles are always organized, easy to find what I'm looking for. The cashiers are nice as well. The bakery has decent fresh goodies too that are a must to browse.

People were pleasant enough...store is outdated the freezer section is in 3 different areas of the store. Store needs updating, self-check out lane, and a good cleaning . other than those things all the staff were nice and helpful. I use to go to Geneva store before it closed.

I went out of my way to get a muffin because I love anything from the Tops bakery. I went to the U Scan and went to checkout, the attendant was not even there. I went to pay and use Samsung Pay and the attendant was nothing but rude and accused me of not paying. I was well aware that I paid as I received a receipt and I use Samsung Pay at the Tops I work at. My five minute in and out turned into a 20 minute debacle because even though I had a receipt, I was accused of not actually paying. Do not go here if you use Samsung Pay, it’s so not worth the trouble

It's a nice place to shop but this is the reason why the got⭐⭐⭐. My girlfriend and I usually get 2 fish dinners once a month and the size of one fish could feed 2 people. So with 2 fish dinners we could have served 4 people cause the 🐟 is big. This time my girlfriend only ordered 1 fish dinner as I said before one could feed both of us. Not this time the fish is only big enough to feed one this angered me cause of the price. When we ordered 2 fish dinners the fish was huge now that we only ordered 1 the fish can barely feed 2 people or just 1. Not good tops just cause we only ordered 1 they give us the smallest fish they had. We might never get the fish dinner from Tops ever again and we really enjoyed the convenience of a restaurant quality fish that now looks like it came from a cheap caterer trailer.

Things are laid out nicely and it is rather easy to find what you're looking for. If chips are your favorite snack food then you'll be pleased because they have a pretty good variety of them. The freshly made doughnuts in the bakery are pretty tasty too.

One of the best grocery stores in the area. The fresh produce section is larger, and the fruits and vegetables are better than at our local Walmart. Unlike our Walmart, Tops seems to have a better supply chain in place. Other than canned cat food, I do not remember seeing any sold out items during my last visit. The only knock I have is it generally more expensive than Walmart or Aldi's.

Long lines as there are usually only two or three cashiers. Carts are all dirty, I recommend bringing hand sanitizer. The parking lot pretty abused. My personal favorite and only reason to shop here is the excellent meat department!

Self-checkout fail. When we put a bag into the bagging area as instructed by the computer screen, the register decided we had done something wrong and locked up waiting for the attendant. The attendant couldn't clear the condition without a manager coming over. After trying at a different register and hitting the same problem, we left. When I've had trouble at other businesses (Target, Giant Food, and Home Depot, to name a few), the attendant has had the knowledge and the authority to fix the problem without involving a second person. This looks like poor management to me.

Modern brightly lit store well laid out. It has a good deli and prepared foods section as well as a great bakery. The aisles are moderately wide and they have well stocked shelves with a wide selection of products.

I've always been satisfied with multiple items we often purchase we do enjoy the Organic Products I wish they would expand back to more of the full Circle Cereal options but alas the 10-10 deals sometimes are good for stocking up on the pantry.

Very clean. Deli girls are awsome, they'll make anything you want while you wait. Customer service is top notch as well. Recommend overt wall mart any day for groceries

Can always find deals here. Not a vad store. Some prices are higher than need be but the store is smaller than what you would expect there fore they dont have as much as a normal tops would. Less meat less snacks less drinks. Cashiers and managers are some what polite. Dont normally have a issue. We only shop here when certain items are on sale.

I brought my grandmother shopping the other day as she is not able to get to the store her self. Everyone in the store was helpful with any questions she had until we got to checkout. We put all her groceries on the belt and then both realized that we where in the 12 items or less isle. My grandmother apologized to the lady and told her she would remove her items and go to another line. Even though we where only a few items over the 12 items. The cashier “KATE” was extremely rude, she told my grandmother yes you obviously have to many items and that we have two signs and she should have at least seen one of them. I was with her and I didn’t see either sign. After my grandmother apologized more than once she continue to be extremely rude and slammed the items into the bag and through the bags on the counter. This is not the first time “KATE” has been rude. She has been the same way with my other grandmother as well as my mother and myself. Usually i would have told her to get rid of her attitude but I was with my grandmother and didn’t want to cause a scene. I have also heard from other people she has new rude to them as well. I get everyone has a bad day but when u work with the public u can’t show it. I know first had as I work with the public myself. I suggest she be talked to or tell her to find a new job.
