Very nice visit. Tour and wine tasting was $25 per person. Tasting is at the end of the tour and you get to keep your wine tasting glass. Our tour guide was also our somellier and did an excellent job caring for a very large group. You can sample up to 5 wines from a list of about 15.

This vineyard has to be one of the best in the area. They have excellent wine tasting options and offer excellent wines from all over the globe. Customer service is excellent and everyone is always willing to help with anything you may need from finding wines or carrying cases of wines to your vehicle. My only suggestion for them to make this a 5 star experience would be to add maybe an activity or two for kids. Also the restaurant Menu is not kid friendly which every year we must leave the area and go for dinner somewhere else. Maybe adding pizza to the menu would resolve everything. Aside from this they have great ambience, great music, and grape stumping games. They also have corn hole game available for those who enjoy the game. This place is lots of fun and whenever we look for a weekend activity with friends this place always comes to mind.

Great place! Lots of parking, we came with a large group beginning of November and had a great time enjoying unusually warm weather for early November. Live band outside the restaurant. We loved the wine! Left with 16 bottles between 5 people and received 25% off! Amazing! Everyone was so kind, bathrooms and entire facilities were clean and well kept after Friendly knowledgeable staff. Definitely will be coming back!

We had a wonderful experience with George guiding us through our tasting. The wines, whether red or white, were very good and smooth even when dry.

Came for a tour with a tasting. We reserved our tour online ahead of time. Parking and check in was easy. Our tour guide was excellent. The tour touches on a few locations outside, but primarily includes walking through the cellar. The cellar was filled with some old artifacts, old and new bottles of wine and champagne, and old and new barrels. It was very cool to see the barrels they are currently aging wine in. We also got to see an employee siphoning some wine out. After the tour, we did a tasting in the main tasting room, where our guide did a great job explaining the wines.

Our tour guide Glen did an amazing job teaching us about the property and explaining the wines. I personally wasn't a fan of any of the reds but the white wines here were very delicious and unique.

What a wonderful day spent here ! I would definitely recommend Brotherhood Winery to anyone who can make the visit ! The tour was so much fun, super informative & it ended with a tasting of 5 out of 15 choices along with a souvenir glass. Our tour guide was amazing & had a fabulous personality ! Nice they also had live music so you can enjoy a glass of wine, just sit back & relax. They also have a place if you'd like to get a bite to eat literally steps across from the tasting room called 1839 Restaurant, food was yummy ! There also is a gift shop with such nice items that you can purchase. Surprised just how well priced their wines are, not expensive at all & the more you purchase the more discount you can get ! It's absolutely wonderful that America's oldest winery is in my own backyard !! Thank you Brotherhood Winery for having such an amazing staff & wonderful selection of New York wines !! Fabulous !!

Brotherhood has been on my list for 3 years and I finally made it. I was a bit disappointed by the tasting. I'm used to standing at the tasting bar with a glass and a good tasting pour, but the pours came in small plastic cups. However, the wines I tried were good, the service was amazing and the wines were very reasonably priced which made up for the tasting the winery and surrounding buildings are very pretty and I was able to get a few Christmas presents at the gift shop. I enjoyed my visit.

Nice place! The wine cellar tour was an experience, but needs a major makeover to make it more attractive. Only because it’s a big part of the tour. Lots of mold everywhere down there, which is not safe to breathe. Maybe that’s the look that they are going for but… I’m sure in the summer this is a nice place to go hang out and drink wine. Only at the wine store though.

Brotherhood winery was amazing. We visited for the mac and cheese festival and it was a great time. Very nice place that I would recommend to everyone. Huge selection of wine. They have lots of events. Very clean and well put together place. You can't tell it's the oldest winery. Also the mac and cheese festival was amazing.

Had a great time at the Winery. Our tour guide, Glen, was extremely knowledgeable. The tastings were perfect as we got to sample different types of wine. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with our choice purchases. Keep in mind that the tour is not handicap friendly as the tour is mostly underground in the original cellars and there are plenty of stairs. There are bannisters to assist. Everything else is accessible.

We came here for a wine tasting. No appointment needed for the tasting. Complimentary wine glass for you to take home was a nice touch. Reasonably priced. Large selection of wine to choose from. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would! I will definitely be back to bring other friends

Maybe I had too much expectation for the “oldest wine yard in American”, but when I saw a freaking modern bottling factory with a graveyard on its side, I was shocked. Yes, the bottling factory is here for them to making some profit, but for a historically place like this, they should at least try to hide the modernness of this factory a little bit. Love the storage museum, that was some history I’m looking forward to see. Hope they could make it great again!

Oldest winery in US! Delucious buttery Brotherhood Winery wine. Friendly staff, so many beverages to choose from, liquor, wine, to beer (no drafts). No military discount offered, but they do donate to DAV (disabled American veterans). They were able to accommodate us with an appetizer, even though they were about to close the kitchen. Thankful because the mussels were phenomenal!

Given that this is the oldest winery in the US, we figured we had to stop here since we were in the Hudson Valley.I love a good tour, I love learning about places, so I would highly recommend the tour here if you've never done it. Fun fact - during prohibition they were allowed to stay open because they made Communion wine for the church :-)The tasting was also an enjoyable affair, with lots of choice and our tour and tasting guide was great. There's probably a wine for everyone type of wine drinker. There aren't really any views here, no big open spaces and rolling hills, but that worked out fine for us since it was a cold day and we wanted to be inside anyway.Definitely worth checking out :-)

Oh what a fun time! We got there on a friday at 11:30 just in time for the first tour and tasting. The tour takes about 30-40 minutes and you get to to go in their cellar and see how they started and all the old equipment they used. You will get to see their barrels of aging wine and tour of the buildings. Then the tasting begins! You get 5 tastings, but the pour is enormous at least for a tasting it is. As a couple that works out to 10 tastings, if you each pick something different! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, the real champagne is only $39.99 and most wines are between $10-$24

If you are looking for a good winery location to escape from the daily stresses of life, I recommend this location. I went with my sister and 2 other girlfriends, we had such a blast. Having booked a private tour with a private wine tasting, we were able to be safe from Covid 19 as it was just a tour for us four. We went to the catacombs and learned so much history, if you're a history buff like us I would recommend. The tour guide was informative and really took her time to explain the history and answer questions. I wish I could remember her name but they all know the history. After a private tour of the grounds we then were taken into a converted chapel where we had the choice of 5 different wines out of a list of over 10 wines. They were so delicious and even better you could choose which wines depending on your personal taste. I'm more into sweet wines and the choices did not disappoint. I even bought 5 of their wines and enjoyed them at home with my family. The honey mulled wine was by far my favorite, as was the white sangria. Perfect way to end a day with a nice glass.

The tour and tasting was amazing. My mom went here on a tour back in the 70s in elementary school and we enjoyed talking about our experiences. The wine was amazing. Especially the chocolate and the ginger honey wine. I'm from orange county but I moved to CA years ago and I was happy to find out that Brotherhood gets their grapes from Paso Robles, CA. My family and I are wine club members at multiple wineries in Paso but the wine here at Brotherhood exceeds all the wines I had in California which says alot. Please stop by for a informative tour and a tasting

The Winery tour for Brotherhood was very good. They explained the history of the Winery, showed us the barrel room, and the Champaign storage unit. The wine tasting section itself was a bit of a let down only because the employee doing the tasting came across desperate trying to sell the wine. Soon as you knocked him off his scripted spiel he was not able to answer basic questions. That being said, the wine itself was very good; we bought a case of wine. While the wine tasting was a bit unusual compared to others we've been too, it still was very good.

Make a reservation if you want to do a tasting. Wide selection of wines, spacious inside, nice they offered live music, I wish they had more outdoor seating. We had a great day here and will be back.

We visited the winery and restaurant for a quick snack. We've wanted to come here for a long time. We each tried a flight and both liked several wines, so we bought a case!We really liked the 1839 restaurant. Great ambiance and food. We shared poutine that was fabulous!!!I recommend both!

This is The Oldest winery in America and is a great place for a day trip from Manhattan. It's only a bit over an hour drive from midtown Manhattan. We really enjoyed the tour with wine tasting. Our tour guide was knowledgeable on wine as well as the history of the winery and she would tell you some fun facts about the place. As for tasting, we've tried a few red, white, rose and Champagne!!This place is also good for weddings!!

What an amazing place to be! The tour was very nice and full of history as it is the oldest winery in America. After the tour, we had the wine tasting. Bought a bunch of bottles after lol. So fabulous! Coming back again to buy more wine and maybe do the tour again with other friends.

Great idea to spend Saturdays afternoon. We enjoyed the tour and wine tasting. Be ready that there are no wine yards and they don't show wine making process, but the history of winery is very interesting, they survived the Prohibition. The wine is not expensive and there are many types to try at tasting + you can keep the glass:)

Came on a Tuesday close to closing. We got one tasting, comes with a tasting glass and oyster crackers. Sat outside and enjoyed the gewurztraminer so much we purchased a bottle to enjoy on the grounds. It was a great experience. The winery is gorgeous. The staff was kind. I would most definitely return.

LOVELY ESTABLISHMENT ! The grounds are absolutely stunning! Tons of wonderful places to sit & picnic with a tasty bottle of wine. Unfortunately the factory was closed due to covid but still a great experience ! Yummy food, delicious wine, live music for wine tasting.

I really enjoyed the wine tasting experience. A bit different from my previous tastings. First you choose 5 wines from 15 different options. Wines are poured in small plastic cups, and you pick them up yourself. My favorite was the Carpe Diem, it was sweet and fruity.
