I am so happy I found Retro Modern Antiques. This place has the most amazing finds with prices that can't be beat!! I cannot leave without purchasing anything, there is always something you're going to have to have! My house is full of furniture, decor pieces, art and so much more from here. Plus, Marty, the owner is absolutely fabulous. Not only does he have a great selection of inventory, but he has a great array of stories as well, it's like chatting with an old friend!! I have only had the best experiences with Retro Modern and especially with Marty, who has always been pleasant, helpful and engaging. I can't explain some people's negative reviews, but I've sent many people there, and everyone has raved about it. The prices are good, the pieces are interesting and mostly real wood, and I've found great buys. Go, you won't be disappointed!

I have to defend Marty here. Marty is the best. If you're friendly to him, you will get amazing deals, and they will even drop stuff off to your house for FREE! It's amazing service. When my wife and I bought our house in Greenwood Lake, we had little to no furniture. Marty has helped us furnish our home on a budget with beautiful pieces at great prices and wonderful customer service. Retro Modern is a great business, with wonderful owners. If you're friendly and respectful, I assure you Marty will be as well.

I think of Retro Modern Antiques as more experience than store. I am always delighted to visit, which tends to be after a visit to my accountant in Warwick. I have purchased several pieces of statement furniture, art and accessories. I am not someone who is into typical antiques. I lean towards modern and Mid-Century Modern and they always have a lot of that kind of inventory. Marty is a lot of fun and very responsive. I don't think he ever sleeps.

Stopped in to browse a little bit..If you ask a question, the owner Marty McDermott gets annoyed. if you ask 2 questions, he gets IRATE. He is an arrogant rude jerk. Clearly thinks he is a big shot, when in reality he is a small little man who was never taught manners or respect. Everything they have came from garage sales and and or Estate sales where he he offered people pennies on the dollar.I found Warwick House of Antiques to be a lot nicer, and they actually have real antiques....

Went in on a whim to look around, but when I asked the person there (I believe his name is Marty), he seemed annoyed that I interrupted what he was doing. When I asked a follow up question, he became visibly agitated, and quickly dismissed me. Not the kind of demeanor expected when browsing for antiques.

Nice store with plenty of cool stuff. I bought a few items from them that were large and the staff was very helpful in helping me load it.(that alone makes the place amazing) Follow them on instagram so you dont miss out on a piece you may want. They move fast.
