We love it here! We always have a great time and everyone is just so nice and friendly. This was our second year there and unfortunately because of this crazy rain the beach wasnt open but all the events setup and a nice clean pool kept us nice and busy. Our kids looved playing on the huge play grounds and its overall just a wonderful weekend away of relaxation. Big plus , when quiet time is 11pm its actually quiet and CLEAN bathrooms ! We will be back next year ! Thanks for another great camping experience!

Hands down, the best campground in lake George! Our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 young children) spent the last week tent camping at this amazing place. We were there during their Halloween in August celebration. And they went all out. They had a bounce water slide, a virtual reality ride, live bands, haunted wagon ride, crafts and trick-or-treat for the kids. You can really tell that they care about their campers and go out of their way to make sure that they have an amazing experience. Restrooms, porta potties and showers were immaculate. Cleaned / pumped out daily. Campsite was spacious and not muddy (we had a few days of rain) The pool was beautiful and heated. Plenty of loungers and umbrellas all around the pool as well. Carl, Sue and the rest of the staff are absolutely awesome. We will be continuing our family camping tradition at Lake George with Warrensburg Travel Park from now on. Can't wait to return next season!

We had a great time during our stay last weekend. Suzanne and the staff were awesome. Very friendly and helpful. The band Mike and the Monsters were awesome and a lot of fun. Phil Singer did a great job with the caricature. We always enjoy our stay at Warrensburg Travel Park and will be booking our reservations for next year as soon as our group can decide on dates.

These folk do a great job in creating a family fun and welcoming place to camp. They truly go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome! We came to see my wife's brother play in his Tom Petty tribute band on memorial weekend and ended up participating in a free cookout and listening to other groups as an added bonus. They run a tight ship to help everyone keep safe and have fun. Kids have a huge play and climbing area and they are safe to wander about. We have come here for 3 years and will be back. Every year it seems like the park gets something new for is facility.I recommend reserving early because the park was sold out, completely booked this year! They must be doing something right!

I want to say that Suzanne was absolutely wonderful and I apologize I don't remember the other wonderful ladies name. One of park staff a very nice young man was great. We had an issue going through the park with all the trees and on sharp corner that couldn't see that the tree top was tilting into the road. We clipped it and the bracket for the brand new topper was embedded in the tree. After we were parked in our site, Suzanne proceeded to find the part embedded in the top of tree. Her and her staff helped us get the long topper of. They were great. A camper near the tree let us us there wooden ladder to get the part out of the tree. Why the 3 stars I called about confirm the 30 Amp vs 50 Amp service. I thought we had 50, but I was incorrect. I had my phone on speaker phone. My daughter and husband heard the way I was talked to. The commit from him of canceling my reservation and getting my money back was his wrong assumption not mine and then hang up one me was inexcusable. Tried 3x calling back. When he called me back and again put on speaker phone and he was just as demeaning .... because of this is my 3 that outways the good from Suzanne and other two staff.Lastly couldn't connect to wifi and reception for TV was so fuzzy couldn't have watched it we wanted too.

Thought it was run down. I have a long camper and the roads to get to the spot we could use were rough and narrow. Sites are right on top of each other. This is not a fake review. The staff were very friendly. It just doesn't compare to other places we've stayed at.Before you decide to stay there, tour the facility yourself.

We've stayed here twice now in the last 2 years. It is a pretty well run campground. I've not used the bath houses but the cleanliness has been good everywhere I've seen. There is a nice section of riverfront for swimming, kayaking on the river and fishing. Also a short nature trail along the river. It has been quiet in the evening hours with no late night loud parties. One site we had was very level and required nothing. The other site was level side to side but slanted front to back. There is no sewer but they offer complimentary honeywagon service so it is fine. It's also close to Lake George and sites to see, shopping, and amusements.Nearby activities: All Lake George amusements and outlet stores. Boating and cruises on Lake George.

Will definitely be back!6/19/23 Another great weekend with family wrapped up today. Though the weather was rough, we had a ton of fun. Enjoyed the pool, and the new games in the arcade! Thanks to the owner and his friendly staff, who all work tirelessly to make the camping experience fun and hassle free.Playground: Several large play areas for the kids!Restrooms: Bathrooms clean and conveniently spaced through park!Dog-friendliness: Dog play area with separate areas for smaller or larger dogs!

Wrapping up another great camping adventure! It was our first time here and this place is top of our list. Our site is amazing - it is level, well maintained and probably the biggest site we have ever stayed at. For the amount of rain we have had this summer, the campground was as dry as could be expected. The staff is amazing and friendly. You can see they truly love this place. The owner even stopped to say hi and ask how my son's (free!) caricature came out. The pool is one of the nicest we have seen at any campground. The staff was constantly checking it and it is heated! Saturday was packed with free activities. A VR coaster, inflatable water slides, a DJ, a pinata, wagon rides, a live band and free s'mores! On Sunday each kid was able to choose an ice cream for free. Most of all everyone was so incredibly friendly! As non-seasonals we have been to plenty of places that made us feel like we were second class. Not here - at this campground every single person made us feel welcome, smiled, waved, chatted. This isn't a resort campground but it is clean and well maintained. It is everything (and more) that it advertised to be and we will definitely be back again.

I wish I could give zero stars. Do yourself a favor and read the other low rating comments and see how the owner responds to those, thats very telling. Instead of taking the well deserved criticism for their inability to offer a satisfactory customer experiences across the board, he literally writes “LIES. LIES. LIES. YOU MUSTVE STAYED AT ANOTHER CAMPGROUND.” I can assure you my review is honest and I definitely stayed at Warrensburg Travel Park owned by Karl. This campground was FULL of eye sore nasty old seasonal campers that people have not taken care of in a VERY VERY long time. Falling in/mold/broken awnings and furniture. Not just one or two, but SO MANY! The so called sandy river front beach for swimming/sunbathing was over grown with knee high maple saplings, full of tree debris and goose pooh. It had not been raked or maintained in who knows when. This place is almost all long term/seasonal spots and i saw no families or adults/kids just having the time of their life, like summer camping should be. The vibe/energy of the whole place was misery and depression. Yuck. There are so many better campgrounds where you can spend your hard earned money to show your kiddos a fun time. My kids hated this place.

Thank you so much for a fantastic stay. We loved the place, it was perfect for our family. There was so much for the kids to do and so many family friendly activities! The spots we had were perfect and all of the facilities were super clean!Anytime I had a question or concern about anything Karl was extremely helpful and so accommodating to us!Overall we had the best trip and we will be returning next year!

Cozy place with electric and water for all sites. Outdoor swimming pool Is maintained properly. Staff did step in my defense when my car was mistaken with someone else’s similar car ( a Pacifica) who was habitual speeding trough the campgrounds. Clean amenities. Would be nicer if the lake shoreline gets fixed.

I have been to many campgrounds and this by far was the worse I’ve ever been to. We stayed at campsite 128 and between getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, the sites are muddy, there is no gravel down, the bathrooms were disgusting, the stalls were built from plywood and the sinks were held up by 2x4’s. Out of 4 stalls only 2 worked and the doors never shut, when you wipe/pull pants down you had to open the stall door because it was so small it was impossible to move around and to top it off for 2 days the soap dispenser was never filled. There was only 1 bathhouse and it was scary looking and dingy, we wound up going to the gym to shower. The roads were not paved they were muddy, lots of stagnant water and the seasonal sites were trashy. The 2 ladies at the front were friendly but the guys raced around on ATV’s when we were told speed is strictly enforced. They say “heated pool” there was nothing heated about it. The “beach” was a joke the kayaks were old and probably would sink the min you sat in them and we found dead frogs on our campsite.I stayed obviously because I paid in advance but I will never come back or recommend to anyone.

This campground was unexpectedly fantastic. I think we had the best spot in the whole campground. Camp. 200. It was right on the river. Many people complained about the mosquitos and we were worried it would be bad for us on the water but I think we lucked out that only in the evenings and mornings was it too buggy. A fire at night seemed to keep them away. The bathrooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. They keep the buildings in good condition for sure. Every site has electric and water hook up (no sewage). We were not expecting that it was super convenient for us tent campers. The grounds are definitely set up for RV’s more so. The sites were crammed together which was not ideal. We lucked out with a really good spot otherwise it can get tight. The campground has so many awesome things for families to do. It was just my husband and I for Memorial Day weekend but we got involved. They had a bbq and live bands, lots of crafts for the kids. There is a playground, pool and mini golf. Also you have access to drop your kanoe or kayak in the Schoon river which is lovely. We would come back for sure, especially with kids. Our experience was fabulous and Suzanne was a great help. There was so much planned for the holiday weekend that you wouldn’t have to leave the campground if you didn’t want to. But the campground is also an easy 10 min drive down to the village of Lake George with lots of other things to do and see. The only critique I have is their firewood was $10 a bundle when you could get $5 bundles right down the road. 10/10 would recommend!

This was our first time staying here and boy was it a fabulous weekend! We originally booked a river site but it was a bit smaller so we told Suzanne and Karl and they moved us to a fabulous site that worked so nicely! Our daughter loved it too because we were right by the park and fun stuff! Anything we needed and any questions Suzanne was there to help! The pool was great, the playgrounds, the bands, the activities! So much to do!When they say quiet time at 11pm it happens and I loved that! Very family friendly. We made some new friends. The seasonal campers were all super nice too.We will be back! This place is fabulous. Those bad reviews are nonsense! Thanks again for a fantastic weekend!

Upon checkin we were notified that there was no sewer that we would get pumped out everyday. Got to our site and there was human feces around the sewer pipe. They cleaned it up but eww we should've left then, they didn't even offer a discount of some sort. The site wasn't cleaned up after prior guests. There was also dog poop around the perimeter of the site. The owners speeded around chasing people driving over 5mph while she was speeding. Time could've been better spent telling her seasonal sites to clean up. The water was turned off for an emergency and we weren't notified till I called. The seasonal sites look like they've been there a while and their sites are messy and old looking. Seasonal guest took up all 4 washers so i couldn't wash clothes. There needs to be a limit so others can use them. We left half way into our stay since it really wasn't a place you could sit out and enjoy. No one around did! We went to King Phillip and it was glorious we extended our stay at King Phillips since its so nice there and closer to everything! All stated above is true and correct events. I've been to well over 25 RV parks across the country the past 3 years and this was the 2nd to the worst place. Sorry to the owners you need help fixing the place up. Also maybe a course in how to be professional in business.

We have been seasonal campers going on our second year. Our experience has been absolutely amazing since we had decided to make this our "home away from home." Myself and my husband were seeking a campground that would be the best fit for our family as we have young children. Cleanliness, family friendly, location and most importantly Accommodations was something that made a huge impact on our decision on where we were going to choose our seasonal location. Our first visit, we were greeted by Karl who went over and above making sure we had everything we needed. You do not get that at other campgrounds, like I said earlier, we had spent an extremely long time seeking a seasonal location and never received that type of customer service. We have now been here going on two summers and the staff is amazing! Sue is always there to greet us with a smile on her face and makes us feel as though we are family here. Aside from the great bands, water slide for the kids, pony rides and the weekly arts and crafts, Warrensburg Travel Park is by far the best campground and decision we had made for our seasonal spot. If you have not visited, it is an absolute must!

We've come to Warrensburg Travel Park many times over the years, and have always been extremely satisfied with our stay. Whether your vacation is a family getaway, or a relaxing trip with some pals, this is (wonderfully run) campground has all of the amenities you would want. The staff is very friendly and works hard to ensure that guests will have a great time here, and you can tell from the assortment of activities and cleanliness of the facilities that the owners genuinely care about the experience their campers have. Lake George is only a five minute drive from the campground, so the location is also a very big plus.I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a nice camping trip!

Had an amazing experience last weekend while visiting Lake George and the Adirondacks. The campsite we had at the travel park was great, and had the perfect amount of shade and good spots to look up at the stars at night. In general the whole place was great. The staff is friendly and really do make sure your accommodations are met.Everything there was super clean as well; Sites, bathrooms, showers, pool and all the other facilities. We had plenty of privacy and all the other campers were all so nice and respectful. The location was also very convenient, plenty of nearby gas stations, Family Dollar, Price Chopper, etc...Would love to come back here anytime. Thank you again for the awesome retreat WTP! ~Jose

I called to reschedule my trip as per the cancellation policy and was met with instant rudeness by whom I assume was Karl. Our camper broke right before our trip and we can not get it fixed before our trip. We were already charged on our credit card for the week back when I booked it in February. I was told and I quote " Listen young lady I have been doing this a long time and it won't book." I said but my camper is broken which he replied " I will go broke." Which I don't understand because he already has my money because I paid already. I said what would you like me to do sleep on the ground as my camper is broken. Which he replied "well thats unfortunate." I said but I just want to move my trip to a different weekend you can keep the money for that weekend. Which he replied with "well I'll get your money for whatever week you choose but what about this week." I was not asking for a refund for the money I was already charged in February. I was simply asking to reschedule to a different week. I have never had such bad customer service in my life and I travel quite frequently. Apparently the cancellation policy does not apply to Karl.

We have been seasonal at this campground for 2 years and it is an awesome place to summer. We have been camping for 35 years and this has been one of our best experiences. Family campground is what they advertise and what they give. The entire camping experience is around the kids and i don’t even have kids but it is nice to see all the kids having so much fun at the 4 playgrounds and numerous bike riding roads. All the kids events he brings in pony rides and bouncy houses clowns, have painters all for free !!!!!!!!!Jen who works for the campground and her kids are the most busy hardworking folks i have ever seen at a campground they are a pleasure to deal with.As far as people complaining about bathrooms they are cleaned 4 times a day i see Linda busting her back keeping them clean and let me say some people are absolute slobs and she keeps them sparkling.Suzanne is always around helping and making us laugh….. the entire staff is a pleasure to deal with. The folks complaining about the owner are most likely disgruntled “former” campers…. Karl and Shelly are fantastic from the day we came here they have been available to discuss anything and everything and he goes out of his way to make campers happy…..I have never had an owner of a campground be so available to his tenants in my life than karl isHe is dedicated to making this a fun family campgroundIf you expect to go to a campground and then stay up partying and getting hammered and repulsive until 4 am totally disrespecting your fellow campers then yes this is not the campground for you and you are probably the ones leaving bad reviews….. grow up and move onThey provide bands of superior quality all summer, free cookouts, clean heated pool always maintained, campfires with free s’mores, bingo , 2 dog parksThere is something for everyone hereBest decision we ever made was joining this campground family

I visited this campground with my partner for 3 nights to visit lake george and hike in the adirondacks and we had a lovely time. It was our first time tent camping and I was nervous, but Suzanne was very welcoming and kind. We had originally chosen a campsite that we didn’t realize was far from the showers and she showed us other available sites and was very thorough in letting us decide where we wanted to stay which we really appreciated. She even asked if we needed help setting up our tent. I see other reviews complaining about bugs and bathrooms… bathrooms were always clean and stocked and bugs are to be expected when camping! I think a lot of the one star reviews are from disgruntled campers that were disrespectful to others. We had a great time!

Uneven site, garbage from people before us, couldn't put awning out all the way or all the dog fence up because of small site, site was in a ditch so rug was not flat, couldn't sit in chairs because of ditch, site was not raked up at all, leaves and pine needles everywhere, fire pit was right next to road so if a car went by we would have burned them. I have seen better sites at a state parks for a whole lot cheaper. Oh, not to mention the mosquitos! You want people to pay the price, clean it up.
