I have always wanted to come and finally got there today.Top quality meats and spices, cheese and more, worth a stop anytime, but it’s a beautiful ride in the fall. Worth the 40 minute ride, just to get great prices on quality spices and their meat variety family packs, for us. Lot of local specialties.Great service and friendly staff.Warrens burg a nice town to visit for fall happenings.Will make this ride again to fill our freezer up for winter.

March 23 update : Gave it another chance and had one good experience followed by multiple disappointments. Maybe they are heaping out on their sandwich fillings in order to continue to add on to their store. About half the meat or salad you used to get. Maybe it depends on employee but there should be consistency in what you are getting.Been going here for years, used to make the trip from glens falls just to go there because was the best sub in the area. I cried not being able to eat them while I was pregnant. But now the past few times there is half the amount of meat on the sandwiches as there was and as they are known for. Roast beef isn't as high quality and is always dry now. Cost has gone up, wasn't to keep cost the same. Won't be going back for awhile I guess, better sub at stewarts now really

Stopped in for lunch for about 20 people before we hit the slopes. Didn't realize how large the hoagies were and ended up with extras. They did not go to waste! Great meats, great bread, great decision to stop. They were fast and got us moving again in no time!

Soups are superb! They have a large variety of sandwich and salad choices it's hard to decide. And I have to say, there steaks look amazing.

My favorite place to go for meat. Never been disappointed with the quality and price of their stuff. Chicken wings, beef, boneless/skinless chicken thighs, breakfast sausage, Italian sausage, steak- you name it, they have it and it's always great. Always recommend to friends

Their large subs are legendary-1will feed 4!I'm a year round customer. Prices are a bit high, but quality is great, and quantity is fair.From subs to salads, steaks to desserts, and homemade soups (everything's homemade!!).Definitely recommend stopping in.It's a great hometown experience, especially for the travellers just passing through that are far from home.. you won't be disappointed!

Best handcrafted subs! My favorite is the turkey bacon with pepper jack and Swiss with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, cukes, black olives, banana peppers, jalapeños, with Chipotle ranch! Highly recommended

Love them even better since they remodeled in the last few years. Expanded grab-and-go section. And I love the HUGE selection of private label condiments, BBQ sauce, salad dressings, herbs and spices, etc! Such good prices. My favorite place to stop when I have nothing planned dinner. Always find everything I need, from fresh deli and meats to local baked goods. Friendly and attentive employees.

First time at this store. First thing I notice is they sell 95% (5% fat) ground beef. You can't buy ground beef like that where I'm from. Purchased a couple subs and some soup. Friendly service, good food at a reasonable prices. You can't beat that combination.

What an incredible selection of meats, spices, sauces, salsas, beef jerky, etc. Even though I didn't have one, they're known for their made to order sub sandwiches. Clean and bright, fresh pastries, soups and coffee bar. Another great shop in Warrensburg. Excellent service, very competitive prices and an unbelievable selection. This place is a must!

You wanna sandwich/sub?? Or matter of fact salsa (my two favorites shown in pics), hot sauce, olive oil... better yet... old school candy like black jack gum and Necco...ooohhh did I forget to mention the selection of meats (steak, chicken, hamburger) Come here you won't be disappointed...I promise!! Just take a look....I got my Italian mix for just 6.50 ... worth every single bite!! Deeeeellliicious!

You gotta grab a sandwich from this place! I am from out of town (far out of town) and stopped by after purchasing a vehicle at a local Jeep dealer in the area prior to my road trip home. We were not disappointed. I had an Italian and my father in law had the biggest roast beef sandwich I've ever seen. Almost party size. Both were excellent. Stop by and order a sub....or hoagie...or whatever they are called in New York😂. You won't regret it.

Best chicken wings in the north country.. They have a 10lb bag of raw chicken wings for $29.90 that is pretty hard to beat.. the wings are already cut into drumlettes and flats.. so your not paying for the little wing section that you would have thrown away anyways.. The wings are fresh, big and depending on which of their hundreds of sauces you can buy to cook them with they are absolutely delicious.. Super market wings can't touch them.. not even close

Best place to grab a hearty sandwich after hiking in the Adirondacks. You can place your order online and pick it up when you get there. The little store has all kinds of chips and salads and goodies. The meat selection looks great and a lot of people are always there picking it up. The staff is always friendly.

Always good for here! Their half sub is similar to other places footlong subs and are priced under $10. The full size sub can realistically feed a family of 4. I love the portions here.

Sweet little Deli spot. Great place to go for lunch. The subs & sandwiches are delish & worth every cent. Good homemade salads and deserts also.The girl that took our order was a little unpleasant. With that said, I highly recommend the place for a quick bite to eat and/or for cold cuts and cheeses from the deli.

Delicious subs! My husband is a local and has been coming here for years and says it’s good every time. My only complaint is that there is so very much in the store that it is difficult to move around other customers and the displays. Customer service was excellent and very friendly.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had at your establishment. While I had high expectations for a memorable culinary journey, my visit left much to be desired. Not only did the quality of the deli and meat offerings fall short of expectations, but the overcrowded conditions and lack of helpful staff further exacerbated my negative experience. From the moment I stepped inside, it was evident that the Deli & Meat Store of the North was overwhelmed by a large number of customers. The aisles were packed with people, making it difficult to navigate and causing unnecessary delays in finding the desired products. The lack of space and the chaos created an uncomfortable shopping environment that was far from enjoyable. Adding to my frustration, the staff seemed ill-equipped to handle the bustling crowd. Instead of actively assisting customers and ensuring a smooth shopping experience, they appeared overwhelmed and disinterested.

I’ve driven past this place over 100 times and today I finally stopped in for a sub. I arrived at 1pm and the place was packed. At least 4-5 people in each line (sandwiches and meat) but there were at least 10 people behind the counter so the lines was moving. After looking around the store for a few minutes I walked up to the online order counter and my sub was waiting for me, I pre ordered online this morning. My Italian sub was made just the way I ordered it. The bread was fresh and soft with plenty of meat. They aren’t kidding when they say the 18” sub can feed four people, I only ate about ¼ of it. I recommend pre ordering online if you’re going to pick up during a busy time and always get the dressing on the side so the bread doesn’t get soggy if it sits for a little bit or if you don’t finish it.

They are always good to me when I go. There was an issue with my sub order, and they immediately fixed it. The gentleman who made my sub is always friendly and sweet. The gentleman at the meat counter was great about cutting the size roast I needed, and I'd rather get quality meat there than a chain store.

This is a pretty cool store, they have alot of good specialty items. The sandwiches we ordered were really not that good. Bread was stale, a couple of slices of meat, etc.. Maybe it's because I live down near the city and know what good sandwiches are. I guess if you lived up here it would be better than going to Subway but like I said I wasn't too impressed. I came in to this establishment on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend at 5:30...30 minutes before they were to close. The two hussies working behind the deli counter were very rude when taking our order. They were just giving a snippy attitude and stared at me with a blank face...just bad customer service. The couple who were standing behind us even commented to me on their attitude. I get it though, they probably had a long day since it was a holiday weekend and they were closing soon and they just wanted to go home. Regardless, if you work in the food industry and deal with customers all day you should learn how to deal with them and act appropriately. Also, my girlfriend happened to order her sandwich at a different time than I did and received her own receipt to pay. When I went to pay for all of our items together I was told that we had to pay in separate transactions because our two sandwiches were not on the same receipt....what??? So as one girl was ringing up my order, I gave my girlfriend money so a woman could ring her up at another register for her sandwich..Lol, it's 2023, get with the times. Not a big deal but just a minor flaw in their system. I told the girl they need to upgrade their ordering system and she responded that this was their new system...lol.
