My 88 year old Mother. Had to use bathroom very badly šŸ˜”. But the pharmacy department and young man there...would not give me combination for there locked bathrooms. Two! Of them!! They had NO public bathroom! These people are NOT humans!!! Shame on you!!! Date 4/11/24 11 AM

This store is a complete nightmare! The thing behind the counter has ZERO communication skills yet, it claims to be a manager. Super unprofessional. The thing kept blaming the photo kiosk for not knowing that they were backed up (you can’t even make this up) & couldn’t get to my 4 4x6 photos that were supposed to be done in minutes. I waited an hour. Left without my photos because the common sense was lacking in the brain & It just wasn’t comprehending what I was saying.A manager should atleast try to be understanding and apologetic especially if they are in the wrong & not just blaming a kiosk. They must have been picking names out of a hat that day for the managers position.

This Walgreens refuses to let customers use the restrooms. I learned this the hard way. They appear to have been public at one time (and are at other Walgreens locations in the area). I'm battling prostate cancer (part of the reason I was at the pharmacy to begin with), so the need to go strikes a bit more suddenly... I had to leave in a panic and drive around to other stores in the area, looking for a customer-friendly restroom; all before I wet myself..! Whoever runs this store needs to allow this basic courtesy.

There is a very negative presence at this location and the reviews are confirmation of that . It is surprising that the corporate office is not doing something about , unless of course if they just don't care either . I will never shop at this Walgreens again. Only one register open on a busy weekend and when I asked if another associate could help me , he could not stop to engage. He kept on walking like I was not even there or like I was bothering him by asking a question . No eye contact at all My cashier did extend good customer service but the other associate on the sales floor (male with curly hair and glasses) was beyond rude , did not help me at all, and let the phone ring and ring and ring while doing absolutely nothing but walk in circles in the store . I observed this with my own eyes . His attitude is where he fell short. Very sad to see.

They consistently only have one cashier in photography. You can wait upwards of a half hour to check out. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS STORE!!! 😔

I will never patronize this location again. After 2 months of back and forth to get my insulin covered (which no one at the pharmacy would call my doctor about and spoken matter of fact to me that it was my responsibility) I was told today my insurance still wouldn't cover my meds even though my doctor told me the authorization was submitted and the drug was approved. I hung up the phone on the pharmacy because I was so frustrated being told I should call my insurance. I had the perspection switched to the location on Freedom Plains Rd and they gave me absolutely no issues picking up my meds same day. The level of customer service at this location is poor. I don't wish it on my worst enemy. I went without my insulin for 2 months because this pharmacy couldn't listen or go the extra mile.

I wanted to buy one item. Got screamed at by the older woman behind the register to go to photo to checkout while there’s a line of ten people. Besides the photo guy that was checking people out seemingly in slow motion, there was an additional 3 people standing behind the counter chit chatting. I wait for 20 minutes for one item. Meanwhile someone called the store inquiring about baby formula and the guy was incredibly rude and curt. In total there were 5 associates hanging out and we couldn’t get one to open a register!? At least have a self checkout then. I understand if their short handed but there was at least 5 workers hanging out in the front. Unreal.

I used to be a pharmacy tech at a different Walgreens (which I loved working at) and have been loyal to Walgreens, but this Walgreens was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had with picking up a prescription. I came in at 12 pm to get a prescription transferred over from a CVS because my doctor sent the prescription over there due to proximity from the office, but I ended up being near the Walgreens anyway. The tech said that it was busy and that it would be handled around 2 pm, which is still pretty long but fair due to the pandemic climate, so I gave her the phone number to the CVS that I wanted it transferred from. Afterwards, I was told by the tech that her colleague was on the phone trying to get in contact with them, and so I went about my day. Giving them more time than anticipated, I decided to call them back at 4:30 pm, expecting it to be more than enough time to call the CVS and have it transferred (given from my experience as a tech, being on hold by another pharmacy would never be more than an hour at most - otherwise, they'd just say to call back or let it ring), and I was told that they forgot about my prescription and that they were too busy. Come on now, "too busy" for MORE than 4 hours and couldn't make a single phone call while they had multiple techs on duty. I've worked as a tech during the early-to-mid stages of the pandemic, and my shifts consisted of me, 1 other tech, and the pharmacist, yet we were able to, at the very least, multitask. It is a shame that the standards of the stores are not consistent.

Took covid test at drive through. Vial cap fell and was lost. Girl was rude screaming at me to find it. Told her she was being rude and she said " what are you going to do about it" Found cap it was filthy. Asked if test could be contaminated. Said too bad. If I wanted another test come back anthoner day and hung up on me. Rang bell again because I still needed prescription she didn't provide. It was a manager. Asked the girls name who hung up on me. Said he couldn't provide it. No one could tell me if test would be accurate since contaminated. We are in a pandemic and the lack of of safety protocol is astounding. Was told to go into the store to speak with store manager. I said I might have covid. No one cared. Manager said he could not help bc he did not know about covid and was not there when I spoke to pharmacy. He said file a complaint with corporate but nothingwould be done bc the complaint would just go back to him. Unreal. Get your covid test elsewhere.

I called to see if my prescription was ready. I had been told on Friday that the Januvia had to be ordered and would be ready on Monday. First I was told my doctor had not sent it yet,then they just received it, then I was put on hold twice and finally was connected to the druggist. He had the prescription and we went from there.... He was very courteous. I did tell him that the employees there needed more training. l was totally frustrated. Never again!!!

Customer service tends to be nonexistent at this location. That goes for the entire store. One bad apple can spoil the bunch. The only welcome you’ll get is that sign when you walk through the automatic doors. I put up with this place because it’s convenient but every single time I come here I can bet something will go wrong. They won’t have my medicine, they ordered the wrong medicine. I get a cashier that’s ready to go home. Or will be polite to one customer and then sigh, roll eyes, and rush when it’s my turn. Some should be thankful to have a damn job this day and time.

I had a very bad experience at this Walgreens. It wound up with the police being called.. The reason was that I refused to leave the drive-in window because the person refused to give me accurate information, saying it had been returned to the manufacturer because I was late picking it up, however she then said that I had already picked it up and could not get it again. Since I had not picked it up I refused to leave without my prescription or a proper explanation. The police were called to resolve the issue and it didn't resolve the issue but I did go home to check on whether or not I had received the the the order, and I had not. I subsequently transferred my prescription to CVS and have received satisfactory service there. I am still receiving notices to pick up my prescription at Walgreens, which of course I don't because I already got my prescription at another pharmacy.I have tried to cancel my prescription at Walgreens but to no avail.

Ever since the "new transition of pharmacy staff" happened, no one there knows what's going on. I called and they told me your meds will be ready tomorrow. I called the automated line at 9am to be sure it was ready and it said anytime after 11am. So after I drove all the way over there at 1130 I was told your meds cant be filled till tomorrow. I understand there is a certain time frame but properly train your employees how to read a terminal. Also if you know your automated call system is not working properly TAKE IT OFF LINE. Customers time is there own not to be wasted driving to the store because they got a call for your RX is ready only to show up and have nothing there. End of rant

Called to talk to pharmacy regarding insurance information for a new prescription. Was on hold for over 5 minutes with message saying that the pharmacy was helping other customers. The phone started to ring when it was my turn. The phone was ringing over ten times with no one answer the phone and then the line was disconnected.

Absolutely horrific customer service - the pharmacist made unilateral decisions about where my prescription would be filled without bothering to check with me what impact that would have on whether my insurance would pay. Didn’t care that I was running a fever and was clearly ill, zero compassion or care.

The staff at this pharmacy have impressed me so much this past year it used to be slow and disorganized but in the last few months they have really come together I don’t know what’s changed but I imagine some member of leadership there really stepped up in the pharmacy and I wouldn’t trust any other pharmacy with my prescriptions. The other people on here seem to me to just be complaining about their own doctors and insurances and taking it out in this staff.

Old lady at the register was so rude to my friend and I who just went in to get squishmallows, called us greedy for only buying one. I tried to get her to give me a coupon I had and was trying to show it to her that it was 20% off, she complained about how she couldn’t see my phone and that she’s not allowed to touch it lol, don’t go to work or even accept the job if ur still so afraid of catching covid. Calling your costumers greedy and being mean to them is ridiculous.

I go to the Walgreens branch located in the village of Wappingers Falls. Once in a while I've gone there to grab something and then be in and out quickly.The main reason I go to Walgreens is because my insurance only gives me the choice of using Walgreens or Walmart Pharmacy. I chose Walgreens because it's more convenient for me and it's not crowded. However, I had CVS in the past and I would go back to them in a heartbeat but I can't.Honestly, I don't like the drive-thru at Walgreens because it's a long wait for whatever reason.My biggest gripe is that the Walgreens Pharmacy is not open as many hours as other pharmacies and that can be difficult to fit into everyone's schedules.

Understaffed, slow. My doctor called in my perscription 2 hours ago. I waited in line for 10 minutes to be told I have to wait another 15 minutes. The service here has gone downhill.EDIT I went in friday from oral surgery to pick up my persciption and there was no perscription there from when there really was. Contacted my dentist and was told things were squared away and returned sunday as I was running out of my pain meds. Picked up my perscription and went home. After I went to take my pain meds and there were none there. In my hour of need this pharmacy has let me down yet again. It is a shame becasue I was thinking the other day that things had changed and I was going to edit my review to reflect this, sadly this is not the case.

Why must you be ā€œcat calledā€ by that beast of a female manager; she’s always calling you ā€œhun.ā€ Please stop. It’s disgusting coming from you; let alone it’s not warranted. Since Steve the pharmacy manager moved on the service is non- existing. Bring monthly prescription only to be told they need to order then they never call you to tell you it’s filled. Have to go and wait forever for it to be filled.Incompetent people in the pharmacy. Shame on them! They supposed to be professionals and they put people’s health potentially at risk; they don’t give a damn. Time to find another pharmacy.

The DRIVE-THRU is a cruel joke. Today was my third try - the first I sat for 40 minutes, the second I sat for 20 minutes. Today I arrived at 1:30 and was told I had to come back in a half an hour as they were closed every day from 1:30-2 for lunch. This fact is carefully hidden under "more" under "store hours." I'M DISGUSTED.

Transaction in the store is ok. No one really smiles but it moves quickly.No one ever comes to the phone. I’ve called numerous times, between two different days, and various hours- even starting at 9 am.Literally kept on hold for over 10 minutes, then I just hang up and try again later. No avail. Actually, I’m still on hold right now.

They don’t know or don’t want to tell you if a diabetic supply is covered by Medicare, told me to call Medicare. Sad since every pharmacy knows Medicare covers diabetic supplies it’s been that way for over 20 years. Medicare said of course it’s covered they should have know it.

Walgreens is a horrible corporation, operated by money pigs, they refuse to hire enough people in the pharmacy department, perhaps the stress is slowly burning out their workers.This repulsive box store sells cigarettes, they also sell items for people to kick their tobacco addiction. We foolishly allow/trust these duplicitous creatures, to sell medications to our children, people with mental ailments and our elderly family members.

Go elsewhere... Not sure how their system cannot find my insurance. Never a problem at any other pharmacy. Probably not the consultants fault, just a poorly run pharmacy
