I haven't shopped in Big Lots in Wappingers Falls for a few years now since I noticed the infestation of mice droppings by food especially by those open bags of snacks like chips and popcorn. I check every so often but it doesn't seem that things are getting any better and years have past. This store used to be clean a few years ago and I was a loyal customer and it's a real shame no one has taken care of this by now. I have tons of pictures for the past few years with mice droppings all over food as well as a lot of open food that clearly shows something ate through. I knew they must be aware but I pointed this out to the manager last year and he did not seem at all concerned. NYS Agriculture & Markets for Food & Safety claimed they would send someone to check it out last year as well but nothing was ever resolved. I don't know how people still shop there at all with infestation of mice, that's so unsanitary and just disgusting. Even if you don't buy food they can still be in the furniture, that's just horrible.

I had a fantastic experience at Big Lots thanks to Josh and Larry in the furniture department. They were incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and professional as they helped me find the perfect furniture for my needs. Their expertise made all the difference in my shopping experience. They are true assets to the store, the absolute crown jewels of the furniture department! I believe they highly deserve recognition for their outstanding customer service, and perhaps even raises for the exceptional value they bring to the store.

Big Lots is a moderate to low priced option for just about everything. You won't get superior quality but you will get very good prices.They specializes in cutting deals on closeouts and overstocks from other retailers. Big Lots buys it on the cheap and sells it that way. As soon as you roll your shopping cart into a Big Lots store, you’re immediately hit with 50%-off deals and clearance racks with even bigger markdowns.So Caveat Emptor !!!!

MANY food items have expired dates. I informed a sales associate of my findings and his gaze told me this is not the first he's heard of this. ALWAYS check expiration.

Big Lots stores are a 2 star in general items, but a full 5 star in others. Over the years, It's been my observation that Job Lots excels in 2 categories. One is bedroom pillows. When you look, you can find some fantastic buys! They are also a great place to stock up on holiday or seasonal decorating items. When shopping for Xmas or other holiday items, you can find some nice things at more reasonable prices than elsewhere. For me, seasonal or holiday items are only up for a short time, then put away. So, why pay a fortune if you're not using it everyday. Some of their stock is really pretty cute. Worth a look.

This store is dirty and your prices for Christmas Clarence should be lower. Your Clearly marked red Christmas bins are not marked down at all. When I questioned this the employee told me it’s not marked down because it’s after Christmas. Every other stoma’s thing marked down after Christmas……………I’m going to Walmart.

This store has the worst customer service. I called asking about their furniture delivery price since I live about 25miles from their store and wanted to buy furniture and the guy literally just hung up the phone. I can't afford $200 or more delivery fee so I was inquiring. So rude!

I have been a big fan of Big Lots department chain stores for years and I still am. They have reasonable, affordable prices and sell everything from clothes, food, furniture, household supplies, blankets, spices, light bulbs, pet toys, food and other supplies. They even carry toilet paper 😆 lol.They also have a rewards card so you can earn more discounts on future purchases. Big Lots also has sales and clearance items advertised on a regular basis.Especially in these economic times of inflation, they are a great place to shop and get more for your hard earned money.

U might not b able to find what u need b cuz they may not carry it. As far as staff only one wasn't friendly will I return yes will I recommend maybe and I'm hoping there's a rider cart b cuz of my disability it hard to shop there if u have to walk its a big store.

They redid the inside of the store since the last time I've been there. So much cleaner, roomier & brighter looking. But I think the extra looking space comes from a reduction in inventory, thus it looks less cluttered. For example, they use to have a large selection of holiday lights. I go there every year for their solar string lights & didn't look like they carried it anymore. 🤔

This store used to be very organized and clean with managers on the floor available to help. I was in the store yesterday and no one was available to help on the floor but I did notice 2 manager sitting in the office chatting. I looked for Sara my go to person there who was always so helpful and the cashier told me she was no longer with the company shame on you biglots you got rid of a great employee

My girlfriend and I went to Big Lots in Wappinger's Falls (we also went to the other Big Lots in Dutchess County, too), and we found both excellent. At the Wappinger's Falls Big Lots I bought 2 pairs of Dockers sandals at an excellent price (my present sandals I bought 20 years ago cost twice as much a pair!). My bought various treats for only 1 dollar when they were originally 2 or 3 times as much! Even though we weren't shopping for furniture, I was amazed at its quality and price. They have great buys from the lowest end to the highest end!

I have only been to this store 1 time and it is a very nice Big Lots.It is large and has a ton of furniture to choose from.Clean store...Friendly employees.No issues at all.

I like big lots, because the prices are low, and affordable. The thing's I did NOT find appealing was the cashier just wanted to rush, and get us out of the store. The other thing I did NOT like is the fact that they have overpriced mattresses, and they claim that a few of them are "queen" sizes, when they are in fact full size mattresses. Other than those thing's, I like the store.

Great store. Great deals. Pretty neatly kept. Employees are a hit and miss. Public bathroom. Handicap parking. Easy parking. Close to other stores. Easy on off access to route 9. Good furniture. Can't really say anything bad about this big lots.

Enjoyable store with something for everyone. There was a price missing on an item I wanted. The Assistant Manager stopped what she was doing and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating.

Some good deals. Some incompetent cashier's that are "s l o w" and frown at the thought of double bagging heavy items when the bag rips open before you can even make it out the door. It seems like the cost of the bag comes directly out if their paycheck. Gimme a break already! Used to go there a lot more than I do now.

An excellent variety of snacks and other shopping essentials that you can find for Wal-Mart prices without the foot traffic. Terrific, easy to access location by the home Depot, so it makes for a very productive trip!

Big lots, Wappingers. I was helped by employee Mike who went out of his way finding the rug I needed. Was a very pleasant experience working with him. Not that often do you find an employee like him that was very happy to help me!

Went to Lowe's with money to buy a gazebo,make a long story short I was getting the run a round from the saleguy and 50 min later I walked out. Went to big lots the lady there was awesome and got what I wanted then checked me out and saved me another 190.00 $$ all within 10 min .pluse had somone waiting to bring my product out ,if you had ten stars I'd give them to you

This store is great. You can get alot for your money here. Employees are very nice and the store isn't crowded which is good
