I love I can find products I can not find else where in town. They have great meat and cheese selection, as well as organic options. Some organic things are over priced, even higher than in the city but it is what it is!

I’ve been shopping at this location since they opened and they Always have the best fresh fruits and vegetables, and greatQuality of meat. Adams is really a one stop shop, either for weeknight dinners or if you’re entertaining and need to buy some specific items for that special occasion. This weekend you could really get a feel of Autumn as they have decorated for the season 🍁🍂

I was visiting my friend in Beacon and wanted to go to grocery stores. I was so impressed with this store - from the exquisite garden section to the incredibly eclectic candy section. They also had lovely gifts and wonderfully delicious coffee and pastries that were reasonably priced. Honestly, I have to say the donuts and coffee at Adams were far better than any I had in NYC on this trip and less than half the price. I love exploring grocery stores and this one made the top of my list. If I lived in this area, I would frequent this great store once a week!

we went at 7:15am on saturday. absolutely a foodie’s happy place!!!many produce items have the name of the local farm they are from. the bakery had semolina bread to rugelach to tiramisu. the kitchen had vegetable knishes to delicious haddock to fried eggplant! so happy to find marinara from michael’s of brooklyn. definitely worth a visit! also, besides all of the culinary delights their employees have most excellent customer service!

Wow! 1st time in this store! Its huge!!! with Great selections!:lots of fruits & veggies - organic & regular;meats, fish, seafood choices;in-house bakery, gluten-free items; fair trade brands;an aisle of pickles & olives & vinegars & oils;a large section of local mid-Hudson Valley's Bob's Mills (a favorite!) grains, nut flours, cereals, dried beans/lentils....;an aisle of jams, preserves, & so many homemade by small farms;fresh (made in-store) sushi bar;a huge (!) deli with meats & cheeses fresh-sliced to order;a flower shop, a hothouse of potted plants, a garden center, & picnic tables outside with shady places to plunk and visit and eat; not sure i even saw everything in store,,,😊.My Mom would've told us as little kids that we were in a "farm museum" , to keep us from trying to put everything in the shopping cart. I still felt like a little kid & wanted everything that's what I told the ladies at the bakery;"I want one of everything!" as i curtailed myself and asked for just one chocolate-covered eclair. I avoided the ice cream and frozen deserts aisle 😂....Perfect place for families!!The staff are all kind, helpful, always happy to answer questions & help find products. Had a great time exploring, shopping, finding bargains, meeting grandkids with grandmoms shopping - they even have shopping carts for the kids! & a variety of cart sizes to choose from, depending on how little or how much you think you're gonna buy.Funny to say it was such a fun experience - since it was shopping! But, There are so Many specialty items, it's just an eye full, and even an aisle with international items, so I was surprised I was easily able to put together a surprise belated birthday basket of Scottish items (cheeses, McVitties, lemon curd, a lavender plant from the hothouse, & more!!) for my younger sister (married to a Scot!), Barbara Laird - Earth & AP Science teacher at Newburgh Free Academy - her 2 daughters graduated Ketcham High (!), who I Just Found Out Is Running for Poughkeepsie Town Board!! Yay, go team Barbie!!I was so happy i could zip to Barbie's after Adams Fairacres, before she got home from teacher meetings (wow - schools starting up again Tuesday🐸!) & leave her surprise in the shade in her yard, with her 4th grade neighbor boys agreeing to tell her where I left her birthday basket! 🎉🎁🎉And,,,,, Adams Fairacre Farms is 119 years old & going strong!! It feels like a family-run really big & expanded farm stand. And even though it was very busy, a lot of people - today is Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend - there was never a line to wait for anything. I really really really tried to stick to my shopping list, but,,,, that was nigh on impossible!Besides when I actually shop at farmers markets - which is what I've been doing since March 2020 with today being only the second (!) time I've gone into a grocery-type store since Covid hit - I don't remember being so happy spending money for food. Nice place! (I even found product in there that's named after my older brother Doug and his son!! "Dougie's" 😎!!) Even my phone was happy! It snapped 2 photos without me even knowing - see if you can guess which 2 photos the phone decided by itself to snap! 🙃Hope to see you at Adams Fairacre Farms! Look up! I'll be that 6'6" woman trying to decide between organic Bosc or Bartlett Pears🍐 🤣🐿️🌳🍯🤸🏻♀️

Can someone in Corporate IT please help the Adams in Wappingers with their Daily Menu/hot bar listing and/or link? Every other Adams is working. I called this morning and was told by a kitchen member that it's posted after 10A.M. ... blatant lie ... hasn't worked in months or ever. I've contacted via contact page 2x so today I called. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SEVICE. Please get it working. Thank you.

Amazing store! Great produce and meat department. Plenty of cheese options too! Also seafood department and bakery. It's my go to stop for product and whatever obscure ingredients and sauces I'm looking for. Staff is friendly and helpful and the store is clean. Can't ask for more.

Great fresh products, AWESOME SWEETS SHOP, and high quality meats and cheeses!I used to think they were too pricey...but now I believe that it's very competitive for the quality! Glad they came down to Southern Dutchess!

I've always been very impressed when I shop at Adams Fairacre farms. I've shopped at two of their locations the one in Poughkeepsie and mostly the one in Wappinger, but they do have several others in the area. So many factors make this such a wonderful place to shop as compared to any of the supermarkets or big box stores in the area. I'll try to cover briefly some of the highlights.1. Local Family Owned-I'm always thrilled that Adams is is family owned and part of the community, rather than just selling products in the community. They are big supporters of civic organizations and nonprofits in the areas they serve.2. Infastructure-They are nice looking buildings instead of the usual grocery store look. They have plenty of parking and even the parking lots are well landscaped instead of just barren asphalt with lines in it. A huge plus is inside, more cashier's (and friendliest) per customer than any market in the areas. I can say with about a 99% certainty that when I finish my shopping and I go to check out I'll be out of the store in 5 to 10 minutes. The aisles hold a good deal of merchandise even though they are slightly on the narrow side.3. The extras-they have a lot of specialty stores inside the main store, including an awesome candy shop (they make a killer milkshake btw), gift shop, greenhouse/garden center, flower shop, housewares, and made in-store gift baskets. They also have a large selection of in-house made products including spices, herbs, sauces, marinades, cheeses, and locally sourced high quality fresh products from just about every category including produce, coffee, snacks, sauces, bread, meat and dairy items.4. Produce-very well laid out, it looks like a kaleidoscope of color when you walk through the produce aisles. A really nice selection of fresh herbs, different types of mushrooms, including my favorite criminis, a super extensive collection of just about any kind of fruit or vegetable you can imagine, and many coming from their own farms, and the rest sourced locally in most all cases. The smell of all the fresh fruits and vegetables and herbs is certainly entrancing, and that leads you to5. Meat-they definitely have the largest selection of beef, chicken, turkey, lamb, pork etc of anyone. I like also that they do a lot of store made pre-prepared meat like specialty burgers, marinated steaks, stuffed pork. They're both very convenient and very delicious, if you're looking for something both fresh and tasty. I always enjoy too that there are always butchers available that you can ask any questions you like to. Prices are very competitive with any store in the market, and the quality is much better. That then leads us to...6. Seafood-In a word it's awesome. They have most all of the standard fare you'd see at any supermarket, but I love their selection of store made items ready to cook. The stuffed shrimp, soul, or flounder are three of my favorites. They have an extensive collection of fish, and clams and crustaceans to fit any taste. I also like that you can pop in there for lunch and they'll cook up scallops, shrimp or clams for you with some chips for under 12 bucks and it will be more than enough food for any appetite.7. Deli n Prepared Food-The deli is always good and well manned, and they have several islands of prepared food available for takeaway in a small or as large a quantity as you desire. The deli mix wonderful with the predominant meat coming from boars head brand, great sandwiches made to order or prepared and readyI really suggest you try Adams You can't go wrong with the quality of the food, the friendliness of the people, and the value on your dollar #adamsfairacrefarms

I enjoy shopping at Adam’s farm in Wappingers today. I saw something disturbing when I went to the buffet style food. I was at the counter wanting some chicken wings. I saw a man come and rub his finger against one of the chicken wings to taste the sauce on it. I was so disgusted! How nasty. I brought it to the attention of the server who asked me who did it. I pointed the man out. He commented but nothing was done. This turned me against their buffet- who knows who put their dirty fingers in the food. I plan to report this to the health department.

We have always had good experiences with shopping at Adam's in Wappinger Falls. We purchase our fruit, and fish there weekly which are both always fresh and tasty. My wife purchased 2 rib eye steaks there for New Years Day at $14.99/ pound and those were by far the WORST steaks we have ever eaten. Honestly, they were truly inedible with grizzle running threw the meat.At that price those steaks should have been far more tender. We will definitely not be purchasing anymore beef from Adam's because the quality just is not there because at that price it should at least be tender and edible.

First time in 32yrs. My boyfriend has been to this location. Many choices and quality to choose from. A little on the pricey side, but whatever you are looking for, you will find. Plenty of parking and outdoor seating if eating at the fresh serving area located in every store.

I just visited Adam's Fairacre Farms , I'm sorry but you can claim that they have this and that it doesn't matter when you have a young man that has to change the hot food trays and you see that instead of wiping around the food trays, he is actually picking up what's around the trays and putting it back in the food tray, then go to the workstation and put more food in the tray on top of the dirty food trays and put it back but all this time he's touching this and that but not once did he changed his gloves, by the way the reason I was able to see all this is because I was with my wife, I personally don't buy anything from there to pricey for me and it all comes from the same place.

They no longer carry locally farmed meats, and the produce, never fresh...only local produce that hasn't spent a week on the shelves is good. There is no longer any reason to shop here. The tourists love it because they don't need to rely on it the way the locals do. I drive to the Poughkeepsie store which is better.

We do not get to Middletown often. So we are so very pleased that our trips from Grahamsville will be on a weekly schedule. Your store was a absolute delight, from your staff's knowledge and friendliness, to how organized and clean everything was. Thank you so much for making our trip a pleasure.

High quality products and reasonable prices. Staff beyond helpful and friendly. Each area is layout with a country feel. This place is spacious with a wide variety. In addition to traditional grocery store aisles they have special counters for Bakery, candy, fish, meats, and florist. They even have a cafe! Their garden center is beautiful and filled with seasonal items. They even had purple poinsettia! What I loved the most was their locally sourced items. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Will be returning regularly!

This supermarket is amazing. They have every section you can think of and each section is a full service section. Some of their sections include deli where you can get sandwiches made, seafood, where you can order hot fried seafood meals, a full bakery, a large produce dept., a cheese section, a hot foods section, and even more. This supermarket is not just a quick trip to the store. Its an experience. My sons loved the tiny shopping carts they have for kids. I enjoyed this location better than the Newburgh one and hope they still plan to expand to Middletown.

Don’t know where to start. Everything Dept is 100% at AFAF!!! The managers, staff and of course owners passion and pride shows in what they have built. Always make sure to include stop at store if in Kingston- Poughkeepsie- wappingers or Newburgh. Produce, plants, meat, seafood, bakery, dairy all top notch! Always a pleasure shopping and talking with staff. Thank you AFAF for investigating in Hudson Valley!!!!

Girls at the bakery on Wappingers are very unprofessional. Really bad service. The manager of the bakery is the worst. I never saw such a negative attitude.

Unfortunately, cakes from the bakery section are underwhelming. We purchased this layer cake for a birthday, and there was very little cake buried in thick layers of heavy, dense frosting. As it turns out, you can have your cake, but you won’t want to eat it, too.

Great local in season produce. Delicious and affordable meat selection. Amazing cider donuts. Also just found the thing I attached a picture of (it was sort of like a little chocolate babka) it was incredible.

I shop at Adam's in Wappingers for meat. I often get turkey and the bell and evans chicken. I was there last week and I needed a small package of chicken but they were mostly larger packages. I asked the associate to half the package for me as they have done in the past. I waited and saw him separate the package with no gloves, picking up the raw meat with his bare hands. He handed me the package with visible pieces of raw meat on his hands.I did not purchase it and notified the manager. Now I hesitate to purchase meat at Adams. I had never seen this happen before.People need to be aware of food safety

My Adams reviews have gone from 5 stars to two stars and finally to one star. While shopping today I asked for help twice and both times I was treated quite well. That is not the reason for my review.I am simply tired of being overcharged. After experiencing multiple pricing errors in the past we kind of cut back our shopping lists at Adams. Today we filled a wagon with produce and baked goods among other things. When we got home an item we chose because it was on sale had rung up at its regular price. If this was the first time I wouldn't be modifying this review. This is not a human error. Every person who bought the item had it scanned at an incorrect price.Typically my review of Adams would be 5 star. Recently however I have had several disappointing experiences. Today for example we purchased ground beef. We found that older, already brown beef had been folded inside newer bright colored beef.Recent milk purchases of Adams own brand have soured within a day or two of purchase. While purchasing numerous items at the deli counter we later realized that an on sale item that should have been $8.99 per pound was weighed out as a different product at $14.99 per pound. This is by no means typical of Adams, but, too many issues over a short period.Unfortunately the negative continues. We picked out produce at $.99 per pound and it got run up at $1.69. None of the produce was coded so the cashier guessed instead of asking.Wondering why these differences happen and why always to Adams favor?HERE WE GO AGAIN.Went back to shopping at Adams and this time purchased ground beef again.MISTAKE. Two packages purchased and once again dark brown "old" ground beef folded inside some bright red beef. Not cool Adams.

From the moment you walk in you know it's going to be a great foodie experience. Organic and non organic. Veggies, bakery, deli with tons of prepared foods if you don't feel like cooking. Candy, cheese, meats, dry foods, milk, eggs. Whew! And even a garden center and a boutique. They have a coffee station too. It's fun to go shopping there too. Everyone super helpful.
