I love my local petco! Everyone I have met in there is wonderful. Yesterday Donna helped me and she was great! She recommended a book to learn more about the dynamics between cats and dogs, which is super helpful.I love their selection and how close they are to home! I will be back :)

The people are always so helpful here. An employee Peggy spent a long time with us to help us figure out the best food for our diabetic dog. She gave us plenty of recommendations and advice. She could not have been more helpful.

Shopping at Petco is great, It was quick, easy, and ready for pickup within an hour.Also, they pick up their game on their selection of saltwater fish. I just wish all of the locations could to the same, The best locations in Long Island so far I've gone to are Oceanside, and Wantagh NY.

This was my 1st time visiting a Petco. Nathan was very helpful by the cat area he helped me pick out some essentials, and his recommendations were very much appreciated. Deb at checkout was friendly and provided me with excellent service.

I've been to many fish stores. Usually I Don't buy from big box stores, instead opting for local business. However for supplies this Petco in particular has been very good. Good selection of animals too. Their care of reptiles and fish are from what I've seen, better than PetSmart. Still will be buying live fish from small businesses, but this place isn't too bad if you're on a tight budget.

Great people and very accommodating especially to my daughters requests. Bought 2 goldfish literally when the store was minutes before closing. Great employees and very thankful. Clean, organized, and well stocked store.

Staff is hit or miss. Half the time you will be standing there unattended for half an hour or more.Update : 2 of the staff members see me standing here, look at me and turn around to avoid me. There are only 2 other customers in the store.

I am at a loss of words with their inability to answer any type of phone call:) within the last three days I have called I think maybe 7 times for the grooming and they haven’t answered a single time, then called the store itself for customer service and the phone just rang for several minutes. I guess I have to go in person to ask a simple question!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Get ready for this one!!! SO - we had the repeat delivery set up (for a few pets!) through the PETCO website. I absolutely 💯% canceled the last delivery of the big bag, 15oz. Blue Buffalo small bites dry dog food but it arrived anyway! I finally had the chance to carry the huge heavy bag BACK TO THE STORE and they wouldn't take it back! I have had a Pals rewards account for years and have spent a good amount of money with PETCO!!! One of the reasons for repeat delivery is CONVENIENCE and when you receive a shipment incorrectly and you have to LUG it back to the store for the lousy $35. and the inexperienced 18 year old "manager" REFUSES to credit my card back AND WON'T EVEN GIVE STORE CREDIT!!! ANDDD says THE STORES aren't PART of the online PETCO that delivers!! Have you EVER heard such absurdity??? UGH. Well - NATHAN, alleged manager of the Wantagh PETCO - BADDD JOBBB!!! You LOST A GOOD CUSTOMER andddd a few people I spoke to also had issues at that store in Wantagh on Wantagh Ave and will NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN either!!! The bag was unopened! Totally UNFAIR AND VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! BOOOOO!!! DONE WITH PETCO FOREVER!!!

I liked their store, I brought my dog to cut nails. Buy some treats.This last time, I got upset because the price to buff dogs nails increased from 5 to 8, more than 50%.So, I'm not doing that anymore.My dog doesn't stay inside for more than 5 minutes, so I am doubting the nail buff quality.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. My family has been taken my two dogs to this petco to get groomed for awhile now, two weeks ago we had taken my Pomeranian to get groomed like usual and we took him home, from the day we brought him home to about three days after that I was noticed HORRIBLE cuts all over him, not little cuts, HUGE CUTS!!! We had another appointment today for my cockapoo, we we went to pick her up, my mother went up to the woman Lisa (who we believe cut my Pomeranians hair that day) and explained to her the situation and showed her the pictures I had taken, she said with a rude attitude “well he didn’t leave the here that way” I was infuriated the fact that this lady didn’t even care that my dog left the groomers with CUTS and gives us an attitude for calling her out? My mom politely said “well we will no longer be making appointments here anymore” and she gave her a nasty look. I will be leaving picture of the cuts. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE TO GET GROOMED ESPECIALLY BY LISA!!!

Jake and Isaak are both very good employees show a true foundation of knowledge for the business. Jake was very helpful and patient when picking a few fish to accommodate my new tank. Making people feel comfortable with their purchase decisions is something every consumer needs, and both employees went above and beyond to ensure that.

I came back here after a couple years and was very pleasantly surprised at the selection for cats. It seems like they stocked a much better variety than there used to be. I never used to go to Petco because of a lack of selection, but that seems to be resolved now so I'll be back for sure!

The store is very clean and organized. Shelves stocked and there's a large bariety of products offered. Ample parking. However, I must have been invisible because not 1 employee ever approached me or asked if I needed any help.I fear this is why so many people shop online. There is just no customer service offered, very disappointing.

They did such a great job grooming my Shiba Inu. I live in Brooklyn but chose Long Island cause it is so convenient to park. Everyone was so nice and friendly. My fur baby liked his groomer. Definitely going back here again!

grooming salon was excellent. javier was able to trim and buff my dogs nails with no problems. i took my dog to get groomed at the levittown petsmart the day before when they could not finish the job. Javier was very professional and was great handling my dog. I'm booking my next full groom at petco with Javier.
