Prices are pretty high for a store at this location. I know that some of that is due to recent shoplifters, but the store itself could use some help. With dirty floors and being dimly lit, almost feels like a dragon cave with someone there to hoard your treasure.

Great grocery store considering the area is more rural. the meat selection is superb, and they have pretty much everything you need. They also have a great beer drink selection. They have their own store brand spices that are good. My favorite is the Ye Olde Canadian Steak rub.

Big M is very poor when it comes to shopping or working, some workers have very poor communication skills and knowledge Big M also has mice that pee and poop all over even on the food that is being put out everyday. The owner is very rude as well as the general manager they threaten the workers and are rude to the workers they try to force their workers to do another job when they already have a specific job in the said store to be done. 9 times out of 10 the workers that work there are very rude to the customers as well. All around the big m needs a lot of maintenance the store is falling apart their plumbing has been falling apart their freezers and refrigerators happen not working and falling apart their floars are starting to heave and come up and fall apart When you are at the big M if you notice why those paper towel rolls are on the floor is because they have a leak with the refrigerators and it's a water main break so with this said I give the big MA1 star rating when technically I should give the big MA0 star rating

A little hard to find with no sign our front/on roof, only by the big blue roof & google maps. But the best place in the area for food & drinks/alcohol, huge walk in freezer. Aubrey was great checking out at the register, helped me find everything we forgot on our camping trip, batteries etc, & even gave directions to find a pet harness nearby. Thanks for the help!

Incredibly over priced store. Small town store with big city greed. I have heard the owner also sets the price for the town gas prices. What a rip off. It is so worth driving a short distance from the town to go shopping and get your gas. Way to help your local friends neighbors.

The store has a real decent meat section, but being the only store here in town they take advantage of it by having everything be at least twice as expensive as everywhere else. Another issue I have is they're not super handicap friendly. There are no scooters to be able to use to get around the store easier nor are they willing to do curbside pickup for their handicap customers. It's a little difficult to do grocery shopping while using a walker and trying to balance bags on the handles to put things into so that I can still have the seat available to sit down on when I need to. So there is room for improvement definitely there and they didn't seem open to taking any suggestions with that so obviously don't plan on changing that anytime soon. So I guess if someone is able-bodied then sure no problem but if you're not then it's not a good option.

mostly teenage girls running the store and the store owners/managers allow for the same creepy men to come in who will take the time to learn the girls’ names and work shifts. place is incredibly overpriced for it being in a small town with this as it’s only grocery store and the majority of people they serve suffer from poverty. they overwork their staff as well. also, within the last two months i have either found food long expired on the shelf they are still selling or i will accidentally come home with something expired having bought it. check the dates if you have no choice to shop here!

Always thought this was a good store until recently, the coolers haven't worked right in about a year now, they let everything unthaw while they try and fix the problem then don't get rid of any of the stuff that thawed out they just let it freeze and sell it. You'd think bring one of the last local grocery store they would provide better service and take a bit more pride in what they sell. The store it's self looks awful too the floors are kinda gross and falling apart, only good thing they have going is the cashiers are awesome and try and thier best even when managers ignore them asking help. Save yourselves time and money and just got to Oneonta or Delhi.

New to the area and I love the small town feel of this place friendly staff great meat department and great store for a small town. Tripping up north isn’t needed with the Big M in town! The beer selection is second to none. I love that I can shop and get gas on the way out! Nothing like a one stop shop for all you needs.

If you go to the deli and order meats or cheese for sandwiches, be prepared, as the slicers they use are so dull it rips the product. I asked to speak to a manager after I saw what was happening, and he lied to me, saying that they sharpened the blades daily. The people behind the counter told me both have been there for years in the deli department, and not once in that time have they ever seen anyone sharpen the slicer blades. They are the only place around that sells Boars Head products, it's too bad they ruin the product.

Good selection of basic staples. Also carries multiple spices from a company whose name I forget, these are roughly quart containers and some interesting mixes. Has a walking beer fridge which is great when you are thirsty.

Ridiculously overpriced for the area it's got no diversity in stock whatsoever no good name brands or nothing as I said to choose from was just stopping in on my way up from long island I live in Otego now definitely not like the supermarket used to be in the 80s 90s before it had this name it was just a worthless expensive trip go shopping in Oneonta

For a small town store The Walton Big M has a good selection of fresh produce, quality meat, and a good basic Deli.This morning a friendly lady stocking produce greeted me with a smile and gave me a tip about something new I might like to try, cotton candy grapes. Yes they do taste like a mild cotton candy, are yummy, and the kidos loved them.

Sad to say it's not your old "Home Town Grocery Store" any more. Went there looking for three specific things and they didn't have any of them. The dollar stores have taken their toll.
