Excellent store. I've been going to this particular one for almost 30 years and it has ALWAYS been and remains top notch. The staff go out of their way to be on-hand and helpful to every single customer. If you indicate in any way you are searching for something (and sometimes even if you don't), expect to be offered help promptly! And they know their stuff. Always very helpful and informative with their inventory, products, and related use(s). Polite and friendly as well, would that every store/business have such delightful and professional staff. Clean, great selection, glad to have such a good hardware store so close by.

Our local Ace always has an employee ready and willing to help. They always know the right location for what you're looking for and if not in stock will help get it ordered. Definitely a convenient local stop for an emergency repair.

The worst service I've ever had.I copied a key. Neither key worked when I opened the door. The two keys are completely different from the original key.I think the staff damaged the key I wanted to copy, otherwise why would it be different from the original key? hope they can help me solve the problem, it's not very complicated.A fat male staff asked me to show him two damage keys and original keys. I did as he said. He said it was impossible. After asking me a lot of questions, I felt like he thought I was lying.I said I remember the day I copied the keys and the employee didn't look right when he working, like something was wrong, but he didn't tell me anything. The fat man said to me in a terrible way, "you're a liar." he said, "get out of here with your two new keys." I am a Chinese, English is not very good, communication may make them feel irritable, but "get out here" I understand.Ask me so many questions with such questioning attitude and speak so rudely that I will not go to this hardware store any more. Today's service is one star, I feel too much for you, should be scattered!!

Went to the Thruway Market to visit the Sporting Goods Department and the Thruway Market has changed so much it's not the same store it used to be back in the day now it's just basically the sporting good department and a bunch of little stores around the whole vicinity and Hannaford's took over a big part of that it sure was nice shopping there when we were younger it was an outing

After I entered the store the mgr got up from his desk and followed me around. I wanted to buy flex seal and was amazed at how haphazard the inventory was. Extremely poor customer service. There were no customers in this empty store with 3 sales people , they never once asked “can I help you”. And I’m a rewards member, but I think this place may be newly acquired. I Won’t be shopping here again. I expect reasonable service when I’m making purchases, the fact is, my money spends all over town!

They tend to have somewhat of what I need the majority of the time. To be fair though, not always and not always exactly what I need. But mostly, they fit the bill. The employees are always willing to help and always seem professional to me.Although this hardware store is located in a basement location. I like it. But it can be a little bit of a walk from where you park into the corner of the lot entrance. You then have to walk around and down a ramp into the store. It's not drastic, but can be farther than one might think.I also like that unlike many stores including Hanaford right upstairs. Thruway hardware always has a friendly person at the register for check out. There is no, you do the work and check yourself out here. I personally prefer a human being having a job to interact with, over I check myself out.All in all a decent hardware store. Like most places, not perfect. But normally fits the bill.

Is this a back room? nope, just deceptively large and well hidden in the belly of hannaford. doesn't have everything but weirdly has at least one solution to every immediate hardware problem you have and don't want to travel to the upside down to get to lowes. keep up the good but mundane work, you are appreciated!

This is a great hardware store. They have a huge selection of parts and pieces. The staff is always ready to help and they are informative if you do need their assistance. I go here often when I need last minute parts for jobs that I'm doing and often for when I need things for my house. This store is a very big store. Be sure to check it out next time you are in need of parts.

Picked up some veneer,( seems to be hard to find, I ordered it online for a pickup) they brought it out to my car it was 50 lb so it was pretty heavy. No problem with online order, sent me an email when it was ready. Easy to deal with!

Place used to be really really good. Over the years it's kinda gotten worse. They don't carry alot of the stuff I would get here anymore. Specifically the beekeeping supplies. I would still come if i was desperate for Canning stuff but thier prices seem high compared to other spots

Place is awesome. Always has what I need in the store to fix my home issues. Plumbing parts, landscaping needs, salt for the water treatment. They’ve been super helpful inside and are great at following the covid guidelines in the area. Will always come here for all my hardware needs and home repairs. 👍👍👍

Ace has the best wood pellets that burn Very clean and Hot and the staff is Always there to Load the pellet into my car. Wonderful Service.

It caught me off guard going down under other stores but it had a bit of everything. The staff was very helpful since I just had knee surgery and couldn't really walk all over. They had what I needed which was important.

My first visit today to this store and was very pleased with my experience. I searched everywhere for adirondack chairs and everyone has been sold out expect here. Matt the manager went out of his way to help me pick colors and gave me a discount on ones that they had only one left. Overall I left there knowing I will drive the extra 20 minutes to go there for all my future needs. The service was exceptional. You can tell it is run very well.. They stand out way above home depot or lowes in customer service. Thank you Matt, I will be back!

Nice local hardware store and Stihl dealer. They always ask if you need help. However, they do not price match, or even offer to come down when price is 30% higher than competitor (not even talking about big box stores). Going to start going elsewhere since last few times I went they were out of what I needed or it was way marked up if they had it. I’ll take the extra 5 minutes to go to true value in Pine Bush. Sorry guys.

Manager doesn't know anything and he's been over 30 years. Staff is cold and most of the time they don't have the plumbing supplies customers need. Definitely has become less dependable place to shop.Parking: Parking is shared with multiple business inside the Hannaford plaza but there are still plenty of places to park. Sometimes you may have to walk a little. Which isn't far.

I ordered a pop-up canopy online from this store--at a much better price than what was available on Amazon! Pickup was a breeze, just went in and they saw my order on the screen. An associate brought it out and carried it out to my car for me. It was worth the drive from where I live in Marlborough!

I guess I would have to say the straw that broke the camels back was when the employee / maybe manager, stuck on me like stink on chit….the wife and I needed to replenish some supplies for our camping trip, we filled a basket…...I used to walk in, maybe with my …part or something ….in my hand to match up, and I soon learned you better stop at the register and let them examine your piece…or else….and when they did not have the correct part I would just..walk out…bottom line this day we spent $109.00 and this clown is gesturing back and forth with some %=/;:,: female near the front end….oh well….I have to travel to Scott’s Corners for Key Bank anyway so….and now I hear there’s a hardware store going in up in the Hamlet….
