I LOVE Levain Bakeries. I've been to a few in NYC, and happened to see the one near East Hampton on the way to Montauk. Had to do a double take, since I wasn't expecting to see one out this way. The cookies were fantastic (as always). Tried to go back with more friends another time, but they closed so early (3 pm). We'll try again another time!

My husband and I are big fans of Levain Bakery. They serve one of the best cookies in the world.We visited the neighborhood for The Seafood Shop which was recommended by my friends for its fresh and various ingredients. We were surprised and excited to find one of the Levain Bakeries there.The smell was amazingly great from outside. There was a line on a Sunday afternoon but the wait wasn’t bad since everyone kept social distance.We got 4 cookies with 4 flavors, 2 slices of pound cake and 1 scone. Everything was delicious, addictive and as good as other locations.

Really amazing bakery. They have freshly made cookies and great coffee collection. Its in Wainscott and can stop by while going to Montauk or coming back. We had choclate walnut cookie and it was mind-blowing. It was so fresh and right outside from oven. Definitely recommend this place for a quick bite on the journey.

Am I the only one that does not like their cookies? They are too sweet for me.I prefer the oatmeal raisin scone, especially when it comes straight out of the oven. Be sure to be there within an hour or two of store opening.

I was so excited to finally try the famous Levain after years of hearing about it. Unfortunately the experience was a huge letdown. I ordered 3 different cookies, 2 of the flavored brioche and a pizza.Starting off with the worst, the pizza was completely inedible. It was so crisp and dried out it must have been cooked 5 days prior. The entire thing - not just the crust - had the texture of a potato chip and just crumbled as you tried to bite into it.The brioche was mediocre. It was quite dry, not a the fluffy, flavorful brioche I was expecting. It also seemed as though maybe these had been baked the day prior.Now to what they are famous for... the cookies... they were just ok. So many competitors have replicated the Levain cookies now but frankly... the competition does it better. If you like a very semisweet forward cookie then maybe you will like it. However all 3 flavors I tried lacked balance, in my opinion.

Yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy! I don’t know what else to say. They were sold out of the Rockyroad cookies, but I got one of every other kind except oatmeal raisin (dislike). The cookies are huge, it’s unlikely you will eat a whole cookie – or maybe that’s just me. Regardless if you go here get one of each. My absolute favorite was the dark chocolate with peanut butter chips, absolutely delicious!

I’m a regular degular here, love the friendly staff however this location seems to overbake their cookies significantly more than the NYC locations, still delicious but darker bottoms/insides that could go a min or two shorter in the oven

Levain Bakery in Wainscott should be on everyone's to-do list when anywhere close to the area. Perfection! Especially anything fresh out of the oven and still warm. Chocolate Chip Walnut cookies and scones top a very crowded list of exceptional baked goods.

Levain Bakery is the "go to" bakery for your morning breakfast. Great bread, scones, muffins and other pastries. Prices could be a bit lower but it's the Hamptons and their quality is excellent.

I heard Levain Bakery made ooey gooey cookies and just had to pop in. They absolutely did not disappoint. We have Double Chocolate Chip and the Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate. The PB dark was sooooo good. I think this might be the best cookie I've ever had. We luckily got these warm. I don't like overly sweet things and these were decadent and delicious without being sugary. The Dbl Chocolate Chip was good buy it was a little crispy on the edges and it wasn't warm. We will warm it up when we get back. Definitely coming back to grab the PB dark chocolate, grab some for friends and will try others on the next visit!

Home of the original giant cookie in my eyes. My favorite is the oatmeal raisin, but if you are a chocolate fan- you are not going to be disappointed. Nice little baguette with some butter and jelly for a quick luck/snack. Yum

The chocolate chocolate chip, regular chocolate chip (and there is Nothing regular about these cookies) as well as, their oatmeal cookies are definitely out of this world No No, out of this a Galaxy, No No, out if this Universe! You haven't lived until you have had Levain ... A must for your bucket list ... As matter of fact, pick up a buckets worth... They are expensive but Worth it!

The chocolate chip cookies are amazing. They live up to the hype. They are on the pricey side , that's a given. The "doughnuts" tho were so not good. It tasted like plain bread with a bit of jam. Ew. Wasted $9 alone on that. If you go and visit, stick to the cookies.

Every time I visit the Hamptons I make my way to Levain. This past fourth of July was no different. I got 8 cookies total - 2 of each cookie. Super duper yum and well worth the $4 you pay for each.

Super convicted location with plenty of parking. The line goes by quickly, so if you see a long line, don't let it deter you away, since there's plenty of staff to take your order. They are always cranking out fresh cookies, so it's rare they run out and if they do the wait times are only a few short mins. The staff are all quick and efficient to get you in and out without feeling too rushed to make a decision.

Nothing really to say that hasn't been said, but these are genuinely the best cookies I have ever had. Every type I've tried has been incredible, but the chocolate chip has my heart. There is always a line, but it moves fast and the people that work there are as sweet as the cookies themselves and never seem harried. Go there, eat the cookies, do it now, nom nom nom.

I honestly believe their dark chocolate cookies (they are not really cookies, but that's the closest word to describe these chocolate bombs of amazingness) are medicinal! Put them in the microwave to warm them and everyone you serve them to will fall in love with you. They make an amazing hostess gift. I brought them to a dinner party once and everyone got into them before the meal was even served! Every flavor is incredible. I've honestly never tasted anything more delicious in my entire life. Everything that comes out of this bakery is like a little bite of heaven. Do not go to the Hamptons without stopping here if you like sweets.

I'm just a contractor who started working here the day they closed down for the winter. I didn't get a chance to taste any of the bakery goods, but, judging by all the people who continually came up to open the door, as I've been working here for the past couple of days, and realized that they're closed for the winter. The absolute disappointment in their face is the only way I could judge how much this place is appreciated. By the way, I've worked in many bakeries and restaurants and this place is the cleanest one by far. Cookies do crumble but they don't appear to fall on the floor here. Lol.
