I called the night before trying pick up my prescription and waited on hold for 20 min the man said the script would be ready to pick up by 9am next morning as I asked. I be stopped in after work at 6:30 to be told it wasn’t ready and go get a lot of back talk complaining from the pharmacist on how it’s gotta wait and how busy and behind they are and he just kept going so I just left and hope I can go pick it up this morningVery unprofessional treating customers that way

They Continually give my husband a hard time when filling his prescriptions...The men that work there are very rude to him and called my husband arrogant.Well, maybe if he got the proper service and was treated with respect and they would fill his prescriptions without constant problems and hassles, he wouldn't be.

I went into this location to purchase a beach chair for a handicapped relative visiting me from Europe next week. Not sure it would be a chair he could maneuver in, I did not use the self check out in order to ask the register clerk if the chair would be returnable if it didn't work out for a family member. His SHOCKING response was "in other words, you want to return the chair after you've used it at the beach". UNBELIEVABLE and unacceptable customer service. I will NEVER go to that CVS location again. Not to say any of the other CVS locations have stellar staffing !!! I should have gone to the Walgreens in Miller Place !!!!

My family has used the CVS for as long as the business has been in Wading River. Am writing this review because I have been waiting on hold for the Pharmacy Department to answer the phone as I need to know they have received an order for medication and when they are able to process it as timing is critical for this medication.Despite having to wait on the phone or on a line while in the store, I am still giving them 4 stars as they have always treated us with respect and provided what we have needed.The staff and manager are always courteous and helpful. During Covid all pharmacies had issues with staffing and availability of drugs, add the issues of becoming community centers for Covid testing/vaccinations. This created more work for an already limited nationwide staffing problem = longer lines. This is to be expected, I do not fault the staff or the manager for this.I do fault their corporate offices for their incessant robo calls. Also believe corporate has much to do with some of staffing issues.

They've always been pretty terrible but the last few years since covid hit oh boy they've somehow gotten worse don't get me wrong some of the staff is very nice but I could get over the hour long wait on the phone to not get a person. I tried to get in contact with them for a solid 3 hours because I needed my antibiotics the man in front of me and me were told maybe tomorrow like?? I understand understaffed situations I do but maybe have them not offer 4 covid services if prior they couldn't properly fill medications to begin with.

Dirty entranceSpider webs and nest around the front doors on the inside for months.Finally had a manager check it out only to give a lazy answer( they will come back ) even if I clean it.UnbelievableEmbarrassing for Wading RiverCvs you can do better

This pharmacy is so severely understaffed, but that isn’t the fault of the workers that are getting yelled at by angry customers every day. Every time I’ve gone there, the staff has been helpful and so friendly. Long lines and staff issues are not a reason to scream at these people just trying to help you!

2 days to fill a Rx and it still wasn’t ready. Amazingly they filled in it 2 minutes while I waited. I mean to wait for over 2 days for antibiotic that my Dr wanted me on immediately is nonsense. Cashier at pharmacy was very nice and basically told the pharmacist to fill it while i waited.

Always a 20+ minute hold no matter what time you call. One of the pharmacists is extremely rude, speaks down on you and talks over you because he assumes you have no idea what you’re talking about and acts like he’s better then the rest. Switching pharmacies after this experience. I’ve always tried to be understanding knowing that many people are calling the pharmacy and with the drive thru window they can only answer so many phone calls but the staff being extremely rude is totally unacceptable. CVS in Wading River lost my business!!

I have to say now I am at the point I want to change Pharmacies. You can't even call them they just keep you on hold no one ever picks up the phone. I have called twice already to the Corporate office of CVS and put in a complaint. I do understand it does get busy but it is not acceptable that no one and I mean no one will pick up the phone there.

I needed a prescription filled and there was a problem with the prescription. I was in pain and cranky. The staff handled everything beautifully. They were pleasant and solution motivated. Thank you to all who helped to resolve the issue.

Management has added extra staff in the pharmacy area, resulting in better, faster service. The store is well stocked and clean. Management has responded swiftly and directly to improve the pharmacy service, greatly appreciated.Pharmacy employee was professional and had a GENUINE smile at the register.

Although they have some very friendly staff that work there their pharmacy department is absolutely ridiculous to deal with. I have had countless instances dealing with them where they are just no help and are doing their job to the very bare minimum. On countless occasions have not had my medication ready when it was supposed to be and then would not be able to fulfill it for several days until the products came in.... not really how medication is supposed to work. Not only that but they have an attitude and zero care about any of it. I have witnessed several times other people having similar problems well on line Waiting. I am officially done going there and have switched pharmacies after 2 years of dealing with it.

Pharmacy service is horrible. After being on hold for an hour I drove to the pharmacy with my phone still in the queue. When I told the pharmacist I’d been on hold for an hour she laughed it off and said she wasn’t surprised. I asked if this was typical and she said yes. Then, the prescription my doctor called in to them yesterday still hadn’t been filled. I told her I wanted it transferred and she said it wouldn’t be until tomorrow am. I could wait to get my meds but what about the patient that needs the medication and can’t even get through on the phone to check on it. The pharmacist said they are 72 hours behind and it’s been like this for the past 2 weeks. I was there a month ago and suspected this was happening then. I gave them another chance. Based on reviews this is standard procedure. The reasons for such poor service don’t really matter to me. If they can’t handle the business I’ll go somewhere else. Shame on the pharmacist for thinking this is funny!!

I have never called here and NOT waited on hold for an average of 40 min. I call to have my RX transferred to another CVS and they forget to a few times, and then i have to call back and wait on hold for 45 min again. Is there a way i could upload a photo of proof because im Currently on hold 50 minutes!!!HIRE MORE PHARM TECHS TO BE ABLE TO GIVE DECENT SERVICE!

I have been using this cvs since they bought out Wading River Pharmacy, it has been getting worse and worse. I have been finding my prescriptions take now usually 2 days to fill for a simple antibiotic that’s already in a box. I also use a controlled drug and they never have in stock, you would think since they know customers use this that they would have in stock. With all the waiting I’m switching to mail order for some and Costco for the others. When we need a medicine to take that day from a Dr it’s so much less stress going somewhere else. A few of the counter staff at the pharmacy are so rude and condescending. Cvs get your act together.

We always find the staff and manager to be lovely, helpful and super friendly. Sometimes the pharmacy is busy and we have to wait, but they are working hard and really care about their customers. They always apologize for the wait and are doing the best they can. Good job CVS WRSheryl & Phil

Worst pharmacy ever not once but twice two months in a row the pharmacy neglected ordering a very important heart medicine and my boyfriend was left without it for over a week. And when it did come in they gave it to another person. Disgusting worst ever if you care about your loved ones go elsewhere.Looking at other reviews I see we are not the only one with horrible experience. But this is a serious life threatening blunder by the obviously ignorant uncaring staff. CVS pharmacy needs to be investigated and the staff at this location held accountable

Creeper Alert! Very tall man bald with a mustache, presumably the manager, went out of his way to the point of embarrassing himself to say hello and greet a young woman with a large chest. The woman after her that was walking down the same aisle didn't even get a half grin, older woman with a service animal. That whole scenario just gave me the creeps to watch.

MOST TERRIBLE CVS PHARMACY!! I come over there for flu shot by foot ( because I dont have a car) from Wildwood State Park area - 65 min walk. It was 10:45am and they told to me that flu shots they are going to start at 12:00. So I walked around for another 1 hour and returned to CVS at 11:55. They told to me to wait for another 5 min because they will start exactly at 12:00. When I come to the counter at 12:05, I got the answer that the person who was sheduled to do flu shot did not come yet, and they dont know, when she will come. There were another 4 people /pharmacists at work and nobody wanted to give that flu shot to 75 year old woman who was making that trip by foot for nothing. The rain started and I had to go back. Most arrogant group of cold hearted people, together with their supervisor I NEVER met before in my life. Why nobody even offered to do that flu shot - they probably all qualify for that miserable procedure. So, I went back 65 min under the rain. It was August 6, 2020. SO "EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE" DURING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIA IN ONE OF THE MAJOR PHARMACY LINE STORE! When I tried to call CVS in next several days to find out about their shedule for flu shots - nobody even picked the phone over there and after 30 min on hold, I hunged up and tried next day with the same results. MISERABLE PLACE WITH MISERABLE PEOPLE AND THEIR MISERABLE SUPERVISOR INCLUDED -THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT CARE AT ALL !!!

Pharmacy and customer service is REALLY sub standard.Some of the ppl. That work here care. It’s really a shame that the majority of the people who work here spoil it as a whole. Even the store manager has 0% customer service skills.I recommend CVS corporation to follow standard operating procedures for customer service corporate models. I mean it’s really mind blowing. They are not even close to being competitive in customer service compared to ANY other business I can think of. Up to and including private owned single retail locations.ABSOLUTELY FORCED to go here because insurance only allows the use of CVS.Probably because it’s the cheapest bottom of the barrel option.

Just plain sad. If they aren't going to answer their phonesThey should just have them taken away.The only satisfaction I get about calling this Pharmacy Is knowing That they have to listen to that awful recording Saying Pharmacy call over and over again. HA Ha

The pharmacy is a joke. I got a prescription and first time i call to check it im on hold for 20 minutes. I wait an hour and call again and im on hold for 16 minutes and no answer so i decide to go the window since they were closing in an hour. Then im at the window for 15 minites and am told they dont have anything from me even though my counseling service says it told them it was verified.
