If you do your job well enough you're practically left alone. That said certain managers/supervisors were lacking in praise and certain individuals minimize your accomplishments/boil down your work ethic.Mediocrity was/is accepted during my time and employee of the month goes to people who are lacking motivation and are usually the new employees. Thats not just this location however its the hannaford way meanwhile if youre decent already you may go years or never get recognition and dont think of asking for a raise.Supervisory positions are slanted in older persons favor and little room to grow here they literally don't have the budget and and youd have to work past misguided notions about yourself that they have of you without actually observing how you work but instead rumors of co-workers that love to stir the pot for no reason.Favoritism/nepotism is also definitely a thing here on the other hand so you want management to go above and beyond for you and figure out their song and dance and offer to take the load of them so they can go on vacation every other month you'll go at least as far as you can in this location. Promises are also not kept if you're not on-the-in and at least one of them will rent out a place for having relations if you're a young attractive female and done find them creepy.If you want more hours you need to crosstrain departments or get a second/different job. Find the new job.I've had customers lie about me arguing with them to get their $300 grocery carts comped and management will believe it without talking to you about it until you have some other conversation and it just comes up.Expect frustrations to be taken out on you as management gets pressured by corporate and for as small as a store this is they barely meet numbers despite how busy the place might look at times this store makes no money.

It's bigger on the inside than you might guess from the outside view. It also has a good selection of products, which seems better than what you'd find at someplace like Market 32. There's a good selection of gluten free options throughout the store, not just in one dedicated section.

We had a party for our 3 year old grandson,and decided to have it catered by Hannaford deli department. We ordered the sandwich party pack. FANTASTIC !!! There was plenty of meat.( turkey,ham, roast beef, ) n cheese onion fresh spinach sliced tomatoes on Fresh chabada bread. Not realizing how much was in each container ,,even though we looked at the pictures on line. It said feeds 8. It definitely feeds 18. Again.not noing. I ordered 4 containers. Every one had parting gifts of delicious sandwiches. I would order them agian great job HANNAFORD

It may be smaller than other markets, but it's always well stocked, and the employees are friendly.

Great for a quick stop. Not as big as a regular Hannaford store but much cheaper than Market 32 / Price Chopper.

This is a nice supermarket. It has mainly everything I need. I am so grateful to have both the Guilderland and Voorheesville location close by to my house.My only complaint that I have is I wish the bakery had more to offer and I noticed the bakery there doesn't even have a counter.I was even surprised to see a lobster tank there too. Staff there are great and very helpful.

I've been shopping at this location for 40+ years when it was the Grand Union and then Nichols Market and now Hannaford 99% of the time I park off to the far left where they now have To Go shopping spots and twice I've been told that I should park somewhere else and twice I told them I always get my groceries to go. It's bad enough that I have to walk around Lake Hannaford everytime it rains to enter the store but seriously ease up with the parking police at least I'm keeping my business local!!!

Out of their advertised meat special 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The middle aged guy, with the long pony tail who works in the meat department got such an attitude when I mentioned this to him. I had to let him know I wasn't blaming him personally just to calm him down. Not the first time I've seen this type of behavior from him. On the other hand Kevin the younger, evening meat department associate is always pleasant and far less confrontational than ponytail guy. They also won't give you a rain check to make up for it.

Great friendly store very clean easy to get in and out of.Also they have a service called clynk where you get an account online sign up get a card sent through the mail.Then you bag your recycling can and bottles in a bag they sell.You leave the bags in area provided with a sticker containing your account number.And no more putting can in that other machine.The company providing this does take a small fee.But I consider my time worth more ,so the trade off works great.The can you recycle may take.2 days to show up in your account.

Shopped today at Hannaford's in Voorheesville....had another great experience shopping there. Judy was most helpful, courteous & professional as always! It's truly a wonderful store to shop at. I'll be returning to shop there in the near future & enjoying the Hannaford's Rewards Program that they offer!

I frequent Hannaford Supermarkets, with all my market needs. I've been going to the Voorheesville location for the past couple years, when babysitting in Voorheesville, and I LOVE the whole experience. The staff, selection, cleanliness are so pleasant. It's like visiting a personal, family friendly hometown market. Thank you for all the smiles, too!

This place is good for small to medium sized shopping visits. It's sort of small so they don't have giant value sized packages you may find at bigger stores. But if you live in Berne, Altamont, or Voorheesville, it's great. I think it used to be pricier, back when it was SuperValu, but it's certainly comparable to all other stores around now. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and professional. The pharmacy is also excellent, knowledgeable and kind. They have great produce and cleanly bottle return areas.

It’s great as long as you’re sale shopping. Good meat selection. But when the chicken is on sale for 1.99/lb beware there will be a lot of fat on them. 😂🤣

Good location wish they invest in 2,4, or 6, self checkouts other small Hannaford locations have self checkout.Special deli salads placed in the weekly flyer are not sold at this location.

Jeckyl Hyde store sometimes 5 star, sometime 1. Staff is decent and the store is clean. Maybe it's me either there's several cashiers on and it's quick or not enough on and takes forever. Remedy self checkouts. The store is small and they appear to restock during the day when they leave restock in the aisle without no employees around it can be a hassle. I've helped enough old ladies reach for things sometimes I feel I'm doing Hannafords job. Since Ahold has taken over items are erratic they tend to be out of stock or things go away or reappear.

Generally this location is good, it's clean, decently stocked, and the staff are pleasant. One major improvement install self checkout's. Many times shoppers stop for a few items they have to wait in long checkout lines. If Hannaford can roll out the new app and install self checkout's in other locations it can invest in Voorheesville. With self checkouts this Hannaford could be one of the best if not the best Hannaford in the Capital Region.

Great place with the ice cubes 2 for $5 were not as I expected I had to pay full price 496 for each bag I thought the advertisement was too big bags for $5 that did not happen

They wrap things up early so I was only able to get a rotisserie chicken cold. Otherwise good selection and good produce

While the selection can sometimes be limited by the store's small size, the friendly staff and clientele make this my go to place for food stuffs.
