07/2022 - I needed some feeder fish for my turtles and this store is located on my way home from work. Feeder fish were not terribly priced. $0.16 a fish for small goldfish and Rosie's and 32 cents a piece for larger goldfish. Customer service was awesome. Store was kind of busy, looked like they could have used an extra hand.11/2021 - Great store with lots of options and wonderful employees. Inside of store was well lit and clean But the sign outside was not lit up which made the store completely unnoticeable because we visited when it was dark out. We really enjoyed our visit but I only gave three stars because I couldn't believe how outrageously expensive things were. It costed me $15 for a small bottle of flea shampoo. I'm really hoping it works well given the price I had to pay for it.All in all I spent $160 on a few toys, some flea shampoo, flea powder, and carpet spray. I could've gotten similar items at Walmart for less than half of what I paid at the store. So I'm seriously hoping there's a difference in the way these work. I probably won't be returning to this location anytime soon as I can't afford to really shop here but I do recommend it as the customer service was exceptional.

i took my doggo, Perriwinkle, into petsmart to get her groomed! they thoroughly went through what they would recommend for her and blended what i wanted with what would be most comfortable for my dog! it was so nice to chat about what was being done with her and they did such an incredible job with her grooming. my groomer was taylor and they were super helpful and recommended some dental treats that i purchased! i also talked to an employee named molly who was also very sweet and attentive, i noticed another customer was very nasty with molly and ella ( i believe her name was ), they were both super friendly and helpful, i was very appreciative of everything. i will be returning for the next grooming for my pup! she is so fluffy and soft now!

3/1/24: The workers were friendly & helpful. They did not have a flat heavy scratching pad. I don't want a cardboard scratching pad. The rescue cats 🐈 that were waiting to be adopted were loveable & sad. They need good homes!

Wanted to buy an apple snail. Associate would not let me purchase one because I said my tank didn’t have a heater. They do not need heated tanks. Quick google search. The tank is set up with plants between two heated tortoise tanks. Had the same kind of snail in colder water, lived happily for 6 years. Guy was also short and rude and offered no suggestions just “no”. It’s a snail it’s not that hard.

Love Pet Smart Victor! Best store for grooming! Sophie our Golden goes often and we have always been very happy with the services there! Staff is friendly and they do a great job. Always knowledgeable staff for all of our pets needs, THANK YOU!

The place looks good but if you take your dog to get his nails trimmed expect at least one of their quicks to be cut. When we got him home he bled all over the carpet.

I went in to purchase fish for my 10 gallon tank and was told my Ari that she wasnt going to sell me any fish because I have a male beta in a 10 gallon tank. Let me explain a few things since Petsmart doesnt seem to care to educate their associates. Betas ARE aggressive, but when put in an appropriate sized tank and with fish who dont have similar fins, they do very well. I've had fish for 10+ years AND have worked at Petsmart before. Luckily for me I had a Petcare Lead who actually knew what she was talking about. Ari was completely rude and acted like she knew more that I did about a fish tank she had never even seen or taken care of. My advice? Dont even go here. Do your own research. Youre better off learning on your own than from the hacks that work here. They are completely clueless. And the fact that Ari is a keyholder? Thats laughable. Any other pet store will work better Petsmart.

I love that petsmart has an area set up for adoption days to help animals find their fur-ever homes. They even rent the space out to different humans societies and shelters! Also, I LOVE THAT THEY ACTUALLY DONATE the goods they have that would otherwise get thrown away. Unlike petco! #FPetco

The girls in the grooming department at the Victor, NY Petsmart are awesome! They were so very thoughtful. Rachell and her manager a small dark haired woman were so kind and friendly to Soffi and myself trying to brighten our day. Rachell did a wonderful job grooming Soffi who is not always cooperative. Your compassion was heartwarming, thank you!

I came in on the 3rd of September looking for a stroller for my pom. We walked in the store and something spoofed my dog and started pulling me out of the store. I'm not sure what it is but I'm not leaving her in my car when it was hot out so I carried her into the store with me. I saw this associate Cody and asked him to show me where strollers are and he took me there. They only had 1 style and I'm not sure my dog would fit so he opened the box for me, assembled the stroller and my dog fit! He then folded the stroller, put it back in the box, took it to the cashier and took it to my car. He went above and beyond! Very helpful, polite and professiona while I carried my dog the whole time we were in the store!!

Very pet friendly. Management used to interact with you in a polite manner. Now it feels like everytime I am there they just watch me to make I don't shoplift? I use a dog stroller for clarity but always place items on top in plain view. Overall selection is good. Best part is the curbside pickup. Front end staff is polite and always days hi to the dogs.

Em groomed my dog today and I was extremely impressed, when we arrived (slightly late) because it takes a few minutes for me to get my dog in the door because she’s so nervous, she was very knowledgeable and sweet to my girl who’s a rescue and literally scared of everything. She gave me at home recommendations to keep her skin in good condition and took her time to explain everything on her report card when I returned for pick up. Lastly my dog looks fabulous.

Each time that I have gone into PetSmart to look at or get an animal, the information we had is crazy. I wouldn't recommend getting an animal here, however we really like getting some things for our animals here. We have been given very wrong information on our leopard gecko and bearded dragon, they didn't know about questions I had about our axolotl, they won't let you look at the cats that they have there to get adopted but they do have very nice and affordable tanks, accessories and dog supplies.

Went to pick up an aquarium, they directed me to Phil, Phil is awesome, great to talk to about what to do and not to do with fish tanks, he double checked my knowledge subtly, and taught me some new helpful things that have helped considerably. I look forward to heading back and having their crew help make sure i select beautiful combinations of fish that enhance my new tank and still live peacefully!

Never have I felt so embarrassed and humiliated with the grooming here. I see Amber typically and she is amazing. This one lady in the most recent visit was horrible. They were unapologetic and I wasted a trip out here. I won’t be returning even though Amber has always been incredible.

I rarely give a one-star reviews because I often find them disingenuous, but this time it is the only fair rating I can offer. We have brought our dog there multiple times in the past with no issues. On our most recent visit, we dropped our dog off early in the AM for grooming. Admittedly he was nervous and there was concern he would be too anxious, but ultimately they agreed to take him in. After about 90 minutes they called me to tell me to come pick him up because he was too stressed and they couldn’t finish him. I arrived and they brought my dog out to me. He was was soaking wet and had clumps of fur hanging off of him. They not only told me that they couldn’t finish the job but they made absolutely NO recommendations on what we could do to take care of him. They just wanted us to leave. They were absolutely unapologetic and uncaring. Clearly they are not selective when it comes to who they hire and they are desperate to hire anyone regardless of their abilities or qualifications. I do not recommend them.

The Girl with the blue hair who works here helped me and my boyfriend out so much, we had found a stray cat that we decided to keep and with no knowledge of cats prior we had asked her for help on what to buy and what brands are good and she really helped us out. the kitten loves the food, toys and the litter she recommend is amazing overall a great experience here I've always loved this PetSmart over others.

Will never go here again staff accused me of lying about how much money I gave the cashier when I handed them 150 dollars and the total was 138 and they told me I was owed 2 dollars on a terrible haircut then was told I don’t take care of my dog because he had a few mats this place is a joke maybe learn how to groom a dog instead of just shaving them

Pet Smart is amazing. Great products, high quality, and incredible prices. Often the prices are discounted making the every day price half that of other competitors but with superior products and a wide array of choices per product. Check out Pet Smart I'm certain you will love it.

Today I brought my 5 month old puppy into PetSmart to get his nails trimmed and the women in the grooming department was so disrespectful that I don’t think we will be going back. I’m not one to typically make reviews, but when she complained that our dog was so bad behaved and even told us we should get him neutered. And said we were bad owners, that just was too much. I don’t normally get offended or upset over what people say. But the fact that we’ve been taking our dog to PetSmart’s training classes and we buy our puppy super expensive stuff and even stuff they say we need, we usually buy. Because we don’t want to be bad owners but then this lady just comes and insults us. It was just so uncalled for. I can’t believe they let someone work there that does that and she didn’t even look over 15. I’ve never had a bad experience with their grooming department before. But our dog doesn’t bite, doesn’t scratch. He just gets excited and pulls on a leash a little bit. And I’ve never seen any other puppy act any differently so I just don’t understand. But after seeing a few more negative reviews about their grooming department maybe it’s time for us to go somewhere else.

Staff is always friendly and available to help if needed. They always remember repeat customers. I really like the online order/pickup in store option - great for when I don't have time to browse, like when I'm running errands during my lunch hour.

We have taken our dog to Jessica at PetSmart in Victor, NY to be groomed for over ten years. She treats him so well and he always comes out looking great. We have been so happy with her services that we followed her from the Greece store to the Victor Store. On one or two occasions our dog has gone to other groomers at the Victor store when Jessica was out on maternity leave and they have been great also. I highly recommend them.

I felt disrespected by the grooming associates. I booked an appointment on Friday and was called today to have it cancelled for Monday all because they needed to see my dog again because of a small wound he had 2 weeks ago. The communication was cut dry and simply rude. They could have very easily ask to see the dog 15 minutes before appt or before the appointment instead they just abruptly cancelled it. I will never groom my dog again at this store.
