I was surprised how quickly I was able to get an appointment after I adopted new cats. One of my cats had a medical issue and they were able to get me in the next day. I saw 2 of the doctors in 2 days and they were both very caring and thorough in taking care of the cats and explaining everything to me. The facility is really nice and my cat loved the room with the window seat. This has been a great experience and I am glad I gave this place a call.

Love this place! Such a wonderful practice that truly cares for your pet/family member. A coworker recommended this place when I got to Rochester. It did take a while before they accepted new patients, but it was worth the wait!I have an 8 year old greyhound so it was important to work with someone who has experience with greys.Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. My dog had a small emergency and I was able to get in and have them check her over that day. I’m grateful for the support and transparency.The facility is nice and clean. Plenty of parking and outside space for walking beige or after your visit.

We would like to thank the staff at Perinton Veterinary Hospital for the many years of exceptional care for our dog Parker Dane. Sadly we had to say goodbye to the little guy a couple of weeks ago, which absolutely broke our hearts, but the staff did their very best to make it as easy as possible. **Review: Disappointed with Lack of Service Continuity**I have been a loyal customer at this veterinary clinic for a staggering 20 years, bringing in my cats and relying on them to have all my records. However, I am deeply disheartened to share my recent experience. Despite my longstanding relationship with the clinic, they have now refused to provide any further services to me simply because they haven't seen my cats in over three years. Strangely enough, they claim to be unable to accommodate new customers.This abrupt cut-off from a clinic I trusted and relied upon for so long has left me questioning their priorities. It appears that their primary concern lies solely in my wallet, rather than fostering a genuine relationship with my beloved pets. The blatant display of greed is saddening, as it effectively erases years of trust and loyalty that I believed we had built together.As a pet owner, I value more than just the medical services provided to my furry companions; I also value a sense of connection, trust, and continuity of care. Regrettably, this clinic seems to prioritize profit over the bonds formed with their clients and their beloved pets.For others seeking veterinary care, I would caution against placing too much trust in this clinic's long-term commitment to their customers. While they may have catered to their loyal client base in the past, their unwillingness to extend their services to both existing and new customers ultimately reveals a disappointing lack of dedication.In light of my experience, I strongly suggest considering other veterinarians who prioritize establishing meaningful relationships with their clients and genuinely care for the well-being of their animal patients, rather than focusing solely on monetary gain.

They did the best they could for my cat. He had complications and didn't make it even though they kept trying to save him. These veterinarians and staff were so kind and thoughtful during one of the worst moments of my life and I will be forever grateful. I know my cat received exceptional care and so did I. I will be bringing my other cat here if she ever needs to be seen.

The reception and vets here are lovely. Knew what they were talking about. I was extremely worried about my kitten and they managed to get us an earlier appointment. They were really good with him and he's on the mend ! Very reasonably priced.

We switched to Perinton Veterinary Hospital two years ago and couldn't be happier! We lost one of our cats this past March and the doctors and staff were so caring and kind during the entire ordeal. The doctors are very good about communicating directly through emails and phone calls. We recently just had our other cat there and I received follow up phone calls to check on her and see how she was doing. I highly recommend them!

The secretaries, vet techs and vets all work together as a team. I absolutely know the stray cat I brought in wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for their clinical knowledge, compassion and dedication. I can't thank them enough for giving Buffy a chance. Even though I am a current customer with this vet with my first dog, they wouldn't see my new puppy on an urgent care basis - he's not eating or drinking for two days now. The vet here in the ADK has been great, but we were scheduled to come home and I wanted my vet at home to look at him. No go. No appts. No help.

Perinton Veterinary hospital has been my vet for three and a half years now. They have a very friendly staff and a clean facility. So far, I have been pleased with my experiences there. I have had three different vets attend to my pet, and all are great, very professional and attentive to her needs. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good vet and their prices are fair and very reasonable.

I found this veterinary practice when I had to say good ye to my beloved dog -these people were the only people who were able to make time for us. and yet I was never made to feel hurried. It was a good experience as far as grieving a loss could go. Then my puppy needed to be neutered. They were all kind -very considerate of me and my dogs needs. The surgical site is beautiful. clean and well formed . The Vet, Dr. Doer, did an excellent job. They gave me painkillers for my boy as well as some “keep calm” meds which i didn’t think I’d need but I did and was so glad to have them. Overall a reqlly good experience and I’m so glad I’ve found a good responsive and caring place to take my boy when he needs it.

The doctors are very clear about treatment options, and laying out all of the potential choices including being very up front about pricing. I posted a review a few days ago detailing my experience with a very long wait time and lack of communication when I took my cat in for her senior exam - and to their credit, they reached out to me immediately to find out more about what had happened and listen to my concerns. This speaks highly of them and I appreciate their genuine interest in how customers experience the service they are providing. I know they are facing a lot of challenges since the pandemic but thankfully the quality of service in our experience has not changed. Hopefully they will be able to address long wait times whether on phone or in person to maintain their complete service.

My cat had damage to her eye due to a medical condition and a veterinary specialist at another hospital recommended removal as it was no longer a functioning eye. The specialist was booking too far out and I called around to 5 places until I called Perinton. They not only answered the phone (some vets offices you could only leave messages), they were able to make an appointment within a few days. My cat had never been there before but they were willing to help out. My 17 year old kitty made it through surgery and it now 6 days into the healing process and doing well. The office called to check on her and were able to answer any questions. Wonderful staff. I am very happy with my visit and would seek out their care for other surgical needs.

I can't say enough about this practice. When our puppy started showing fear aggression at visiting the vet, Dr. Scheider and Kathy along with the rest of the staff were very helpful with providing ample information to help Charlie be a calm pup that enjoys going to the vet. They helped me set up "happy visits" and the entire staff helped to make Charlie feel happy and excited to see everyone. We've definitely found "our vet".Fast forward -- Charlie is almost a year old now and every time we go to the vet he literally drags me into the building to see his people. We recently had our cat undergo a dental surgery and Dr. Scheider and all the staff were wonderful in keeping me updated about her progress. She's doing very well and is much happier with the problem teeth gone. I still highly recommend this vet!

My 11 year old dog has been a patient here for a few years, after being referred to Dr. Scheider for eye surgery. The surgery went well and she healed perfectly. We have seen 3 or 4 doctors there and they are all great with my dog, who can be a little anxious. She gets lots of treats and they are very gentle with her. The vets get down on the floor with her to perform the examination! The front desk staff is very friendly and fun, always happy to help out or answer a question. We are very happy with Perinton Vet!

Our cat had some severe dental problems that needed attention and Dr. Spring took care of her. Dr. Spring is very thorough, kind and empathetic. I was kept informed all day of the progress. I appreciate Dr. Spring very much and all the techs and staff at this office. They are all very kind and efficient. You won’t find a better practice anywhere, I guarantee it!

Great place. Have been going here maybe 8 years. Prices have gone up, but they have everywhere. Occasionally it’s hard to get in for an urgent appointment, but again…that’s widespread these days too. Overall it’s a great practice and everyone is friendly!!!!
