The staff at this location are very friendly and happy to help! My wife and I went there to purchase a cat vest harness and leash. Our cashier and associate, Nick was very pleasant and he was happy to share his own experience with the product with his own cat which we found this very helpful.

I dropped off my dog to be groomed at PetSmart by Betsy. He has been there before and the previous groomer did a good job. Betsy on the other hand butchered him. She cut his hair too short. I had groomed his face a big bc his hair was getting into his eyes so she said she would blend it a bit. But she went overboard. His hair looks patchy and uneven. I called to complain and spoke to someone called Shea. She said give me a second and hung up. Very unprofessional. The first picture is a before. The second picture is the disaster that Betsy did. She actually trimmed the face shorter than what I did.

The Vestal store was the only store within about an hour from where I live that had my dog's food in stock. Customer service over the phone and in person during pick up was great! I saw online the store had the food in stock. I called to confirm before I placed an online order. The gentleman I spoke with was pleasant and answered my questions. The ladies that brought out my order of dog food and cat litter were very nice. They were pleasant to chat with for a moment as they put the items in the trunk of my car. My dog enjoyed going for a walk and exploring new smells before falling asleep during the car ride home. 🐾

Cat and the team was great! We had a good discussion about what I wanted what should be done.they were so careful caring and conscientious about my morkie and when I came to pick her up they were just fawning and hugging her and she was loving it.I wish I remembered the other girl's name so I can thank her too.My Morkie adores her new groom, the cut is exactly what I asked for which was great she smells fantastic and it cost $10 less than I was quoted! And she got a treat!I would recommend them highly!

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They even held my dog's leash and walked his hyper butt through the store for me once when I wasn't feeling well. Always a good selection also. They LOVE when you bring your pet in with you.

This is one of my favorite places to shop for pets from fish to hamsters. I’ve gotten all of my glow fish here and they are just beautiful. My granddaughter got a bear hamster and it’s her best friend and so friendly. I’ve never been disappointed!!

We took my dog to get a haircut, and we told them to cut it a little short. Instead of doing that they completely shaved all her fur off because they thought it looked better, and they didn’t even do a good job of that. The fur has chunks of longer hair. Overall we had a very bad experience with their grooming.

I have been calling the grooming salon for over a week at different times of the day and nobody answers the phone. The regular store associate will not schedulean appointment. I tried scheduling an appointment online and their system has my dog’s breed flagged as a breathing challenged breed and won’t let me schedule online. My dog has no breathing issues. The system instructs me to call the store. I call the store and asked to speak to the manager, i am informed the manager is not in today but the person talking to me says she can help. I tried explaining my concern and she keeps cutting me off and interrupting me. She was very rude and Abrasive and would not let me speak to an Assistant Manager, she was the shift lead and i had to talk to her. I told her I don’t appreciate being interrupted every time I try to speak & stated i would like to speak to the store manager - when would she be working again. I was told “ I don’t know when the store manager will be back again - she hasn’t been here in over a week”. it should not be this difficult to make an appointment for grooming either by calling or scheduling online. It’s been a week and I’ve been unsuccessful in getting my dog scheduled. When I tried to talk to a store manager to express my concerns about this I was met with hostility & resistance by a shift lead. I wasn’t yelling , I wasn’t raising my voice, i didn’t have an attitude, I was trying to have a conversation about my concerns. Is the communication at that store so bad that nobody knows when the store manager is going be working again? I will never go to this store again. Terrible service and bad staff attitudes.

I really like this pet supply store. Any time you have questions about your pets, there always seems to be an associate that has experience dealing and often keep the same breed. The best way to describe staff at this location is " bubbly ". Great fish sales, Dog grooming, live food. They don't buy, you'll have to go to upper front street if Can No longer care for your pet.

Signed my dog up for grooming, the receptionist couldn’t figure out how to accept a 3 year up to date rabies vaccination. She had trouble adding 3 years to the date it was received. She tried calling the vet and then got upset with me when she incorrectly input the number. Unnecessary treatment, especially when I arrived with all required paperwork. Left without services due to the incompetence and unprofessional behavior.

Over a year ago PetSmart in Vestal let go of MANY of their groomers; it was difficult to get an appointment and I had purchased a grooming package that had to be used up by a certain date. I spoke with the new store manager and canceled my package because I would have money left on the table. The new store manager said I hope you come back and I agreed to once the new groomers were fully trained. Well, today I decided to give them a try again and requested to have my fur baby’s nails trimmed and PetSmart has decided that I can no longer go there for services. I would NEVER in a million years recommend them. A situation that was out of my control, PetSmart firing their employees, ended up in my being declined to ever go there again - what kind of company are they!

My adorable chunky long haired Manx cat, Elvis, was clipped and bathed today. The cat lady, "Cat" took great care of him. He looks like a little lion and is super happy and able to move around better. This is the 2nd time I've had it done. He'll be back again.

I normally don’t write reviews at all and I have extreme amounts of understanding for groomers since I was one for several years. With that being said, this was a horrible experience. I will never take any pet we have here and I won’t be shopping here anymore either.I dropped our two dogs off to be groomed, both had been groomed here before and no one had ever said they had any issues with either pup. The girl who took my first dog back was visibly annoyed by her. You could tell she was upset and didn’t have much experience with dogs who are a bit anxious. Our dog admittedly is very attached to me and doesn’t like to leave my side.Twenty minutes in, they called me to tell me they couldn’t finish her because she was too crazy and bit someone. I was definitely not upset about this, I totally understand and said I would be in to pick her up when my other dog was done.We were called about an hour or so later to come get our other dog. We payed full price for her groom, I apologized profusely to the groomer who was notably, a bit rude…. I say this lightly since I have anxiety and I know that I can come off rude and short because of that. I tipped her $10 and went home with our dogs. We get home and the beagle who was apparently fine didn’t have her nails done and she smelled.I feel ridiculous. I feel like they were unfair to my other dog and honestly, knowing how petsmart trains groomers from personal experience, I’m sure these girls were not properly trained to handle dogs with anything other than a joyful disposition. The turnover rate here is wild, but I know why. I just wish it had gone differently and I’m extremely disappointed. Especially since I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I recently had purchased a sick hamster from a store 3 hours away. I came back from college and I needed to get him help, so I called this store since it is closest to me. Isaac picked up the phone and was genuinely the nicest person I could have spoken to. I ended up having to call him back about 6 times, and every single time he was very helpful and kind. He was doing his very best to help me with a sick hamster that I did not even buy from his store, and he ended up solving the problem for me and got the hamster help. He couldn’t even help the hamster at his store since it is female only, so he talked to his boss and had them call another store and made sure that they were able to get the hamster the care he needed. Isaac was the nicest person and I am forever grateful for his help.
