Stopped for lunch first time this season. I was truly disappointed about the quality of my meal. My cheeseburger consisted of a small overcooked patty a single slice of tomato and one small leaf of lettuce. Along with a handful of fries. It reminded me of the happy meals I once bought for my daughter.I’ll wait a while and give it another shot. Hopefully this was just an opening snafu

This review is meant to shed light on the unwelcoming service my family received and hope that it improves going forward for the sake of the other patrons that will continue to visit them.We visited for dinner on a Thursday evening. It was cold, windy and there were 2 other families eating in the dining room. It wasn’t a busy night for the crew on duty. We saw an employee at the counter who looked ready to take our order but did not pick her head up to greet us for close to 5 minutes. A simple, “I’ll be right with you” would have gone a a long way. We ignored the service, were friendly while ordering and our order was called out in a reasonable amount of time. After we had eaten we walked out to go to the ice cream window. We walked past the 6 person crew that was standing at the counter. We said, thanks for everything, have a good night….. not one staff member spoke. Not a smile, not a wave…. Zero response.I know that it’s hard to find decent staff in today’s climate. But to not speak is just disrespectful. I’m sure none of the people working have anything invested in this business, beyond collecting a paycheck, which is why none of them thought to speak. But to the owners or franchisees of this establishment, please teach your staff to do better.

Absolute horrible service... last night my family and I went for ice cream place was pretty busy 3 limes with about 10 people in each . My family and I waited about 15 minutes to get to the windows. We were next in line and a young lady slammed the window in our face and never returned . A half hour later the guy behind us finally went to the next window and ask if anyone was gonna help and she said that line is closed as no one told us and still had 10 people behind us. Just Absolute horrible service I will not returm and I will make sure I tell everyone to stay away from this place..

Great experience, decent prices, everyone eats and leaves happy. Lots of outdoor seating makes for a great summer event. Lots of choices for ice cream as well.

Gross burnt dogs, at throw up in my mouth a little bit price! Me and my 3 sons ordered 8 total dogs 3 reg 2 with chilli (Nicky dog) and 3 with add cheese ($1.49 for cheese? What is this burger king) total price $38.49 that's right average of $4.81 per dog. A chilli with cheese dog comes in at nearly $6.Rolls left a layer of grease in everyone's mouth, perhaps the company's way to get you to buy some ice cream 4 of the dogs weren't finished as they were completely burnt. Son reports the chilli was "disgusting, tastes like Taco Bell's throw away meat!" His words not mine.I'll add pictures if I can! I mean look at that cheese fresh out of a 7-11 vendor likely could have better tasting dogs from a gas station in Hoboken NJ at 3am .... Do not recommend this to anyone to eat!Ice cream is not bad but again this place is way over priced .... Zem's in canastota is better and so is Jake's green house in wampsville along with cone heads, which has 2 locations Oneida and canastota.

Holy moly. Truly a 10/10. Top tier soft serve here, and it blows my mind how many flavors they have. I got black raspberry and it was to die for. But then I went back and got a classic vanilla/chocolate twist and it’s as good as it gets. Can’t wait to come back for more!

Awesome! Almost every time, and that's for real. My Beer Battered Haddock Sandwich for six bucks is the size of a dinner, and perfect always. So much of anything you want, all of the best original drive in food, but thrice as good as fast food! Real food at a real decent price. French dips, great local skin on dogs and burgers. Just a delicious and fun place. Nobody always gets it perfect, but Nicky comes close for what it is. Americana Food. This is as close as you can come to Happy Days in Upstate New York. And look at the awesome handmade Black Raspberry Ice Cream and White Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich! Seriously! I had one and my dog gave me sad eyes until I split another one with him! And before you PETA Animal people go crazy, we both have cancer and are going to die anyway. So LOL to you all! Go here and eat until you split and live and love and be happy!

What a delicious find!! Best summer food the entire length of NY thruway! Burgers, BBQ, and macaroni/potato salads excellent and made on site. Too full for ice cream but the crowd of customers were enjoying it....next time for us. Now our regular stop between Boston and Michigan. Great Job!

Went there for ice cream 1st time a few weeks ago, it was very good. Checked out their food menu for a future time and noticed they have zwigels hot dogs and other Rochester, NY food choices, which was cool being that I just moved here from there. Went back and had a burger and fries. It was pretty good! I look forward to trying other menu items and more ice cream!

Pretty decent ice cream/fast food place. I had the moosetracks sundae and it was pretty good but a little runny for me. Overall the sundae was good with plenty of mini peanut butter cups.

I come up to Verona maybe 4-6 times a year for business. I always stop here. The food is incredible. The atmosphere is great. It is a MUST stop in the area.

My friend and I took my son right as it opened. The prices for the kid's meals are very reasonable! His meal was 4.99. It came with grilled cheese. It was loaded with cheese, a ton of French fries, and a drink. I ordered a hot dog, potato salad, and a drink. Yep, the dog was average size, and you get a lot of potato salad or fries with your meal. The glass that comes with your meal is a good size too. You can either eat inside out now that the weather is warming up outside. The restaurant was spotless and well-organized. The parking lot was immaculate no trash on the ground. The tables we clean. No food or soda residue on the picnic tables. I would eat there again.

Ordered take out multiple times and is done on time and correct. Grilled chicken sandwich is really good, along with the burgers and chicken tenders. Ice cream is top-notch, even the pre-made ice cream sandwiches and cakes! Plenty of parking and seating outdoors, small dining area inside but it's still a great spot to stop!

Later In the evening, myself and two others decide to stop in. Our order came fast, wasn't busy. Being that it was gorgeous outside we sat at one of the round tables. It was a great night...Maybe you can make some wonderful memories of your own here!!! Weither you want ice cream or a hot dog w/fries (or something of there good sized menu, ice cream is ordered outside separately) it does not disappoint!

Yes. Go there. They have all sorts of great sundaes, soft serve and whatnot. The place was packed when the six of us went. As we were in line a kid dropped his cone SECONDS after getting it. They IMMEDIATELY got him a new one. Classy.The young lady at the window was amazing. Huge smile the whole time. With everyone. Having worked in the service industry, I know the smile can fade pretty fast when you're swamped but hers was there the whole time.The sundaes we had were great if not a little too big if you can imagine that.I will definitely be back.

Very pleasantly surprised by this little place. Stopped in on a whim midway through the first leg of a cross country road trip, and wow. All the employees(high school students)were very friendly and seemed to be having a nice time, talking and laughing and smiling with each other. Good sign to see, especially in a restaurant work environment. The place itself was clean, nicely decorated, and bright with a lot of natural light coming in from the large windows. The kitchen was in full view. Wait time was not long, as we ordered a 10 piece chicken tender basket with fries. The tenders were fresh out of the fryer, as were the fries. Only downside was the order of fries was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but no big deal. The chicken tenders were delicious: tender, juicy chicken, light and crisp batter. The sauce was great too, we got the honey mustard. Outdoor seating was very pleasant. Overall a great find, would definitely go back again. Highly recommend.

Do NOT go if you have a nut allergy. By the grace of God my mom saw on a partially wiped off sign on the ground that they cook in peanut oil. She is DEATHLY allergic to all nuts and while she was waiting for our meal, cooked in peanut oil, she saw this sign. THANK GOD. They absolutely must do a better job of communicating that to patrons.

Overpriced for the food quality they pushing outta there in Verona. $16 for 10 chicken tenders…$13 for a buffalo chicken sandwich which uses 2 tenders for the chicken with a small order of fries and a drink. Hard to support local business with those prices.
