Great prices, newly renovated plenty of fish to choose from and animal care products, great customer service, and now they have a monthly plan membership for savings and discounts the prices now are better than Amazon due to the discounts and promotions. Ordering online and picking up at the store was very fast service and the discounts were applied at checkout right away. Very happy with the new upgrade. I will be buying my pet supplies here from now on.

Went here instead of my regular petco solely because i was nearby and pressed for time. What a mistake. Made my usual purchase of 16 cans of wet dog food (2 sealed cases of 8). Was charged for 24. I walked out and walked right back in and the cashier said it to me before i even got to her. She apologized and started the refund. Said the refund amount out loud and i questioned it since i knew it was wrong. She aggressively confirmed it was accurate. She refunded me @ a SALE PRICE and marked my receipt as unhappy customer. i only received 50% of what i should have been refunded. I did not have the patience nor time to go back and forth as there was also a line of people and the phone non stop ringing. But i will NEVER return after being scammed.

The store itself is great, but these 2 stars are for the groomers who were not nice and just hesitating on grooming my golden doodle. Like if you’re not comfortable with big dogs just say that. And basically told me she would do a choppy job because he was kind of matted. (Only in leash area) and I needed his anal glands expressed as okay from vet, he’s recovering from a mild infection and she didn’t even want to look at it. LOL great service. I left. Definitely did not feel comfortable leaving my dog.

It was my first time taking my parents dog in for a bath/grooming and Kevin knew exactly how to approach her. Great customer service skills and absolutely adored her haircut! Will definitely return. She was so happy herself!

I'm actually surprised at how friendly everyone is here. It's a big store, but they really do love animals. We take our dog there for grooming, and they also always have a great selection of foods. Foods. They've been at a construction for a while cuz they're adding a vet.

It's been a while since I've been here. Honestly I only go when given a gift card but yesterday we had a terrible experience in our "go to" store and came here. I was pleasantly surprised how helpful, friendly and knowledgeable the guy in the aquarium dept was. He turned a terrible day around and was a wealth of information so we WILL be back but please turn the lites on.

Manager Michelle is very unprofessional and full of it ,but other than that the workers are nice and the stores clean well stocked ,I really missed and loved the old store set up , the new make over is terrible

I went today as a customer and the customer behind me was told by TONIANN to wait for her at the register after I was already waiting for her to come back and ring me up. She walked away to help the customer at the register. I told the customer hell no im not going to be skipped because you were told by the employee to go ahead and skip me. I had one item to purchase and I left it. Its such a disappointment going to this location knowing that theres so much potential to provide better customer service. If I can give 0 stars I would.

Took my puppy for his first grooming. Wonderful experience, Emily was so patient and kind with my little one. She took her time to explain the process and did a great job. Will be coming back in the future.We also brought him here for vaccinations, this location is great for all pet needs.

First time at Vetco, my 2 puppies got their vaccinations ($115 each). Smooth process, great communication and clean, safe environment. Very affordable price, it is better to schedule an appointment thru their website to ensure your visit but they also take walk-ins.

Excellent store to get what you need for your pet. Only reason why it's not a five star is because I was trying to look for some treats and a good scratching post for my cat, but unfortunately I saw there were more dog related items than kitty items. Not sure if I was just blinded by the quantity of canine items and did not see what I was looking for, but I was sad I couldn't find what my kitty wanted. Side note: I did notice they were building a Veterinary service. Truly a great thing to have so close to home.

A gentleman named Jomo helped me with my tank and fish. At the mount Vernon store in New York. Site 570. He was so knowledgeable of everything aquatic. Very professional. Thank you for your support. Will continue to support this business. The pecto in the Whitestone has ghetto staff and was no help and lack merchandise.

They have just about everything you will need for your pets here, even clothing, Lol! I'm able to get everything I need for my aquariums, including medicines for my sick fish were needed. They have did grooming in the front, which is always nice to see. I recommend this location to all pet lovers.

I love shopping at Petco and always wind up buying more than I went there to pick up because the prices are so nice and they have a large variety of the fish supplies that I buy as well as fish. The associate helps out alot by letting me know things like what fish I can mix together how to prepare the water and maintain cleanliness of the aquarium overall very good pet shop.

A bit smaller than the Mt. Vernon store - staff very helpful. Iwas able to get an affordable cardboard type kitty scratcher with catnip - my Rosie already clawed it up!

My kids love this place we go shopping for fishes all the time here and we just recently bought our baby turtle from here. The customer service is beyond great they always take time out from what they are doing to make sure we have everything we need for our pets.if your looking for a pet store i would highly recommend this one

Be careful about making a BOPUS order here because they will give you dented cans, litter packaging with broken handles, and returned items that were not inspected before resold. I also hate that they don't have shopping carts at this location and you would have to steal one from the adjacent store, which I refuse to embarrass myself doing. This Petco always has good stock of most supplies probably because of the lack of carts and the very stressful albeit plentiful parking.
