Food was great, fresh and delicious. The Grilled Marinated Chicken sandwich was yummy, the Cheese Steak sandwich was hearty and meaty, the kids chicken tenders was fresh and hot.We were busy yet pleasant and patient.The facility was clean, bathrooms were clean. Even with the inconvenience of mask due to covid19, this establishment was great and accommodating.

I was disappointed that they did not have any Panini's or Mac salad on my recent Sunday visit.My taste buds were ready for the Pulled Pork Panini. I guess they only offer them on certain days. Even though Sunday I was told was Hidden Valley's busiest day.So I tried there game burger of the day which was the Elk burger. For cheese they only offer American cheese. No Provelone, Swiss or Pepper Jack cheese. So I got it with no cheese. The Elk burger was very good and I do recommend it. It came with a good serving size of fresh fries. To my knowledge this was my first wild game burger. It Costed almost $17.00. If givin the chance I would eat another Wild Game Burger again.Also good to know water is about $3.00 and there is no water fountain or refillable water bottle station anywhere in Trailside Grill or Hidden Valley. You can also get Ice Cream here to. If you did not pack a lunch and do not mind spending the money I would recommend the Trailside Grill!Kid-friendliness: They have chicken tenders, cheese burgers. And ice Cream.

The Bison cheese steak was delicious! My wife and son had a cheeseburger which looked delicious and they had no complaints. Kids Chicken Finger meal was great as well. The Perry's ice cream bar is great after meal snack. And I love the "Exotic" meat for purchase!

This place always seems to be busy. While the food is ok, it is overpriced for what many would consider a different meat option. We ordered a red deer burger- we know and expect deer to taste different from beef. However, the flavor was no different from beef (too much beef added) as well as being very undercooked when we ordered a well done burger.

Specialty meat meals were excellent. Kids food is only burgers and chicken fingers, which my kids don't always like. Ordered them wrap minus the onion and ranch. 1st came out with both, second time with ranch. Kids were starving so couldn't wait for them to remake again.

Scheduled to open at 11, I walked in a few minutes after and still stood there with the place looking deserted until someone popped their head in and noticed me. So I was the first order of the day. The cashier took my name and number and said she'd call or text when our food was ready. After an hour of waiting and several other families getting their food I went to the counter to ask the cashier if maybe she put in a wrong number for my phone and couldn't reach me. First, she said she had text me and I told her I didn't get a text and double checked my phone. Then she said that something happened and my number didn't show up on their receipt so she had no number to call and couldn't remember what I looked like. I understand that people make mistakes, technical difficulties, etc., but between her attempt to lie and say she did text me followed by her excuses and indifference, it just left a sour taste in my mouth.The food was decent. I probably would have liked it better if it wasn't room temperature by the time I got it.All that being said, I don't want to condemn the whole place for one cashier having a bad day.I'm willing to try again if I return.

The food was great but it is down stairs no elevator for our elderly grandmother. There were flies everywhere inside very hard to enjoy your food. We will not be eating in again (kids ended up eating on car)

Chicken fingers were more like nuggets, fries were slamming though. We also went for ice cream on this 90 degree day. Fountain ice tea definitely hit the spot.

As delicious as the elk burger was, the 1+ hour wait for food on a day that was average for them is horrible. They should be able to get through more than 10 orders per hour. That's what I counted, yep just 10 different orders. Sad.... Yummy though.

Great food and fun environment if you like wings there is a deal on Thursdays there. If you have never been you should try it for me I like their sweet potato fries they have honey and other seasonings on them. Yum!

Prices were a little expensive, which is typical for a place like this but the food was good. the staff was super busy. Took a while for our food to come out but no real concerns.

Its a greasy spoon with cheap liquor prices due to half shot pours. The bartender explained to me.The bartender refused to give my gf ketchup cause we were eating in my car, I am on chemo. I went inside and asked the hostess for ketchup and she obliged with 2 to go containers filled halfway with ketchup. Seeing a trend here, lol.

I chose this restaurant for a family dinner because I had a wonderful experience about 5 years ago. Also, because of the unique wild game food offerings. Needless to say, I felt bad for my family this time.

Very good for small children my 4 year old an 1 year had a blast the animals come rite up so the kids an can feed them an the tour guide was very friendly an informative an exciting can't wait to go back
