I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Summer Creek Pet Retreat. We have 4 dogs, 3 of which have special needs. Tom and Diane were so welcoming and took the best care of all of our pups. The facility is beautiful, clean and our dogs got the hang of the doggy doors relatively quickly. Diane sent updates, which set my mind at ease, since we had not sent our dogs to any kennel since 2019. I would highly recommend Tom and Diane to care for your dogs. I was able to tell right away that they are compassionate and truly care for the animals. I would not board my dogs anywhere else. Thank you so much!!

I’m so happy we found Summer Creek thanks to a friends recommendation. Our grand dog Debo (Australian cattle dog) was so well cared for and we didn’t have to worry while we were on vacation. He got daily walks and lots of love. We got pics and updates. They followed his routine and we could bring his things he loves from home. We will certainly use Summer Creek again and recommend to others!

My three fur children, jade, Cash and Scout, just spent six glorious days in the care of Diane and Tom at Summer Creek Pet Retreat. This was my crew's first time EVER staying away from home and me. Diane and Tom leave no stone unturned when it comes to care and safety, not to mention extra love and snuggles. I was completely at ease and able to enjoy my vacation without worry. I received updates and pictures, and knew without a doubt my loves were in the right hands. Thank you so very much, Tom and Diane, for all that you do! ❤️

Summer Creek Pet Retreat came highly recommended to us, and after boarding our dog with them for the first time recently, we cannot say enough good things! The owners, Diane and Tom, have created an incredible on property facility that is beautifully maintained. The kennel itself is the perfect size, allowing for 7 runs that have both indoor and covered outdoor access, along with a fenced in area where the dogs are let out throughout the day for supervised play. On top of the beautiful facility, the owners have an extensive knowledge of dogs and it is evident they truly love what they do. They even go above and beyond to send you an update of how your dog is settling in while staying with them. Leaving your furry family member while you are out of town can be such a stressful feeling but at Summer Creek I have absolutely no worries that he is in the safest hands possible with Diane and Tom at the best possible boarding facility!

We were thoroughly impressed with this kennel! Dianna was incredibly nice over the phone when I called to reserve a spot for our dog. We are from MA and came to the area for our daughters wedding. We were staying at a campground and our dog is used to being left in our air conditioned motor home. At the last minute we decided that it would be too long of a day for her and looked for a place to board her. This kennel was spotless and on a beautiful location overlooking a creek. Tom was beyond kind and personable! He played with our dog and let her get acclimated before we left her. When we picked her up a little earlier than expected, the kennel was just as spotless as when we dropped her off! We could definitely see that she was very happy and after greeting us, she went right over to Tom to get some more pats from him. She then went over to where he kept the tennis balls and started whining at us to play. She knew where he kept them, which proves he played with her quite a bit! We were so pleased! We will be in the area again in October for another wedding and will be boarding her here again! Thank you so much for loving our dog so well while we were not able to do so! Miss Brady looks forward to coming to “camp” again soon!

We cannot say enough about our positive experience at Summer Creek Pet Retreat. Diane and Tom are skilled, caring, authentic people who truly love what they do. Our dog's response to them told us everything we needed to know. With Diane and Tom, you can go on vacation or wherever your travels take you and know your pet is in the best possible hands. And their fees are so reasonable. We highly recommend Summer Creek.

I boarded my 5 month old puppy at Summer Creek Pet Resort for 9 days. The kennel was new, very clean, and obviously well-maintained. The yard for running/playing was quite spacious and my pup seemed to immediately enjoy running around in it. The owners were quite caring and played with my pup several times a day. They kept detailed records of how often she ate, played and "pottied". They also sent me photos and updates, letting me know that my pup was doing well and learning to fetch! The owners also gave me several tips on food, treats, and general dog healthcare. Additionally, the price was extremely reasonable and the hours/availability for drop-off and pick-up were flexible. The owners of Summer Creek Pet Retreat just seem to genuinely enjoy dogs and they do a wonderful job of taking care of them. I highly recommend Summer Creek and am glad that I found such a great place to house my dog when I am away!

This was my first time boarding my Doberman after having had awful experiences with boarding in the past with my two older dogs. I was anxious but Diane and Tom moved mountains to settle my nerves and reassure me that everything is and was going to be great. My dog even had first time jitters and had a tummy ache and Diane fed him a special diet to settle down his tummy. If I could give them 100/5 stars I would but the limit is 5/5 stars.

We were so happy with our experience leaving our two dogs at Summer Creek Pet Retreat. The owners kept us updated and sent pictures to assure us that the dogs were doing well with them. They were very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with me. I would not hesitate to take my dogs back to them.

We can’t say enough about Diane and Tom. They take such wonderful care of our two dogs ( one of which is a puppy). The facility is exactly what we were looking for… small and family run on a beautiful piece of property. Everything is super clean and well maintained. The dogs are well taken care of and clearly get personal attention while they are there. This is our go to kennel!

Terry: Our puppy Mini stayed at the retreat while on vacation and Diane and Tom’s care went above and beyond our expectations. We got daily updates and I was even able to ship treats to Mini. Since Mini is still a puppy she is still in the training phase. Diane and Tom did a great job with continuing the basic puppy training we worked at everyday with Mini while home. We chose to take Mini to this retreat because it came highly recommended and we highly recommend it as well.

Tom and Diane did a fantastic job caring for our dog while we were on vacation. They were great at keeping in touch with us and sending updates. They truly care for each dog as if it were their own. We will definitely be bringing our dog back next time we go away!

What a great place this is! The kennel was spotless and Diane and Tom took such great care of our dog! Our dog had surgery the week before and was stressed from the drive up. They gave her special attention and made her feel comfortable and welcome. Great place!

I cannot recommend them enough! When I called, I expressed how urgent I needed someone to watch ours two dogs last minute and Summer Creek was able to make it happen, the week the facility was to be on vacation! I felt so horrible knowing they weren't supposed to be open but they expressed they were happy to help. Not only is the facility laid out perfectly for all your dogs needs and comfort levels, but its new and beautiful! Very clean and the owners are very hands on, making my fur babies feel at home. They even would send me videos and photo updates! They do not have interactions with dogs from other families, and I was really pleased with that. The resort is also Veteran Owned!We will be recommending them everytime someone is needing a boarding facility.

I cannot begin to say enough positive things about this establishment and the owners! We were referred by a friend who also raved about their experience. Our puppy Shield is a Doberman and of course with that breed comes a lot of push back from people, even boarders/handlers/trainers etc! So I had a really difficult time finding someone I could trust and feel comfortable leaving him with.Well The Sanfilippo’s at Summer Creek Pet Retreat completely put myself and my fiancé at ease. We will not leave Shield with anyone else going forward. Their care and professionalism that they put into each and every customer and their dog is just amazing. Shield had a great time, and was very well taken care of. Not only do they provide daily updates for the worriers like me, but they also follow any instructions the owner provides while also making well researched and educated recommendations.The location their establishment is on is immaculately maintained and cleaned. Oh, and the view for the doggies when they are outside is beautiful! Shield was truly on the perfect vacation!They simply go above and beyond and I am So thankful.

This "pet palace" was the best kennel I have ever seen. the owners are wonderful , caring and obviously know dogs! I felt so calm knowing my dogs were so well cared for.
