This is a very clean Supermarket, definitely the cleanest Supermarket I've ever been to. There also doing an enormous renovation and I love it! These people are very friendly. This place has an enormous amount of snacks, fruits, and vegetables. I recommend this place 👍🏼-𝓒𝓸𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓭𝓻𝓮𝔃

The on line shopping is great and I used the app which tells them when I'm close, when I've arrived and what spot I'm in, my items where on the way out to my car as soon as I parked! Easy, everything packed nicely and the service fee is only $3.99 if you don't spend a certain amount otherwise it's a free service.

I had a terrible experience with a cashier by the name of Sharon. I was totally baffled by the lack of professionalism she displayed. She blatantly ignored me after I greeted her which shocked me after seeing how verbose she was with the previous customer. I was simply conducting a bottle slip transaction and her inability to hide her agitation was appalling. After she finished, she told me I should’ve gone to customer service instead of getting on the line. I would hope that in the future ,as a representative of the company, she would would do a better job at making the customers feel valued.

Couldn't find the frozen lobster pieces which I had been told "Hannaford was the place to find it". Went to the self checkout and had shrimp that wouldn't scan and the plu #was written so tiny I couldn't read it. So I went to a different checkout. When I said I didn't have a card for the store the cashier didn't offer me one to use or how to obtain a card for myself. I did like the cara cara oranges. Many of the desserts looked good and the chocolate bomb was tasty. They have delish ginger chew cookies but are often difficult to find. UPDATE 6/19/23- Last few months I've easily found a good supply ginger cookies. I'm so happy there are so many self checkouts. Plus there is always staff near by for assistance. Since original post I've had a good cashier who directed me how to get a Hannaford savings/rewards card. Always use it! Saves money,💲 💰💲. Update 12/30 /23 - Bought the last two packs oh chewy ginger cookies.

Staff is always very helpful, courteous. I just happened to have a very rude shopper ask me if I was going to be touching all of the Apples🍎in the bags. I was actually just checking through the bag of Apples that I had planned on buying just to make sure they didn't have a bunch of those little wholes in any of bag of Apples that I planned on buying!! Which was none of her business!!!!

First off, the staff here is friendly, but that's where the good part ends. On my last visit there were no carts inside the store. They were all in the corrals outside.Cat food shelves have been empty for months. There are also other items that are always out of stock. Sales items/"free with coupon" items are always gone, even when getting there on the first day of the sale.I often have to bag my own groceries due to...I dunno....lack of staff?The produce has taken a turn for the worse in the last couple of months. Stuff goes bad way too soon. Cucumbers I bought were a mushy mess two days later.Prices are too high. Even when I buy store brands my bill is crazy high. Despite the convenience in regards to distance from my house, I am 100% done with this Hannaford. Heading further away to try somewhere else.

I went to cash a check right before Thanksgiving, the customer service lady working the self check out was a raging "B." I usually cashed my payroll check every Tues night and they did it thru hannaford payroll, because I've been shopping there for years, this jerk decided to ruin my day and refuse my check even tho the trusted night crew did regularly for months. Lady you should have just cashed my check and told me no more, and i would have felt you actually cared about customer service, but clearly you have zero hospitality experience. This was my worst experience, i also regular ordered from togo and had rotted fruit/veg i was charged for, as well as my most expensive cuts of meat rang in over and over instead of each packsge individually. As a waitress and bartender, I will forever bash Hannaford and show others how they can save at shoprite, and price chopper unless a manager would like to make this right with me.

Your basic supermarket. The deli staff are great! I love the roasted chicken and the mashed sweet potatoes at the deli were fabulous. Wanted something quick and easy, inexpensive, and different. This hit the spot. The store is clean and the cashiers were friendly and got you out fast.

Clean store, aisles are a little wider and easier to get around in. Not as cluttered as other stores. Was in a wheelchair for 2 years, it made a difference. Good selection of products but some are overpriced. Staff is polite but inexperienced. Do believe they mean well though. (Was feeling dizzy and told 3 young ladies, they laughed and walked away. I was just starting to walk again.) Still, a nice store.

Hannaford Pharmacy Valatie is by far the best pharmacy is the area! The CVS is understaffed and ineffective.An excellent selection of products, not overly busy, and the store offers grocery pick up to your car.

This is an awesome supermarket to go to. There are so many choices of food and drinks available. The store is super clean and the staff are friendly. Also the parking lot is large and has lots of space. There is also easy access to the parking lot.

Good local supermarket. They have very good customer service. You can get very good deals. Nice staff and variety. You can get so much stuff here, including headphones, earbuds, batteries, magazines, arts and crafts, fresh fish and produce, and beer. They even have self checkout.

Would have been better if the store carried half the items that are listed on the app in in the coupon section, especially the FREE items. Why have the coupons on the app if they are not in the store? (This issue has been ongoing, even before Covid started)

I recently started shopping at Hannaford stores more regularly and at this particular store I have found to be one of the best. Hannaford can be pricey but for good reason; All of their produce, flowers, & meats/seafood are super fresh. Their breads, bagels, pastrys, cookies, muffins, and cakes are baked to perfection(especially the homemade BROWNIES🤤, gotta try 'em people!) The store is clean and well stocked & organized. I would've rated this store a 5 but tonight our service was NOT great as it usually is each time we shop there. Our cashier was rude & seemed aggravated & eager to leave & for get us out of her Lane to close it or something. She was rude, cold, unwelcoming, and unfriendly. At least now I know who to avoid there 🙄! So other than the rude cashier this place is pretty great, oh and there is self check-out to help you avoid cashiers that may act like this one.

It was right before closing and I had a few things to pick up. I had an hour drive to my house but I decided to stop as I was passing through Kinderhook. The staff was very pleasant and the cashier on the front end watched my bags after I checked out so I could use the restroom before traveling the hour home.

This is a great place for anyone who shops locally. I get the free cookies all the time. There is an amazing variety of everything, from condiments to baked goods. The service is always so helpful if you have a question.
