I love that DG bc it’s big and clean but THE CASHIER, very rude! She didn’t greet, offer a bag or say a word! Overall I love that store they need better customer service

The funny thing about Dollar general is they really do have everything. I'm always shocked about what you find there a pretty reasonable prices. there isn't one near me so whenever I'm driving by one I pull in and take a look and see what they have. they have everything snacks, candies, car, phone chargers, plastic bags, storage containers. The staff at this location was very friendly and willing to help check prices on a couple of things that I couldn't see. I was 'generally' very pleased.

Employees & Manager were very helpful, didn't have to chase them down to get assistance; the mgr believed me when I brought up a price discrepancy. Store setup is easy to negotiate (My friend is legally blind) the end caps are placed well, not crowding the aisles. Prices are typical, specials were worth the trip. Store was clean & well lit. Parking lot level too.

The store was very clean, organized & stocked nicely! I have lived close to this store for many years & finally decided to go in. Boy was I pleased!! Great deals on numerous items. Must check it out 😉😉

Prices are very good and selections are great. You can save additional money by using there digital coupons. Customer service not always the best in evenings. For example, sometimes the cashier's can't be found right away so you have to shout out that you are ready to check out. There's only two on, and one is usually stocking. One guy is very large, likely near 500 pounds and moves very slowly. He doesn't say much to the costumers. He kinda grunts and stares awkwardly, but he is friendly. I went on 8/9/19 and he was stocking in back of store, and his coworker had me shouting for him to come help her at the register because she was having a difficult time with the card reader for a different customer. Otherwise store is clean and well stocked.

Coming back to area to work, the store is a huge help to me. Ill be here for awhile, its nice to know ill be able to least find my basics needs for low prices. The store was pretty much organized. I'll save comment about employees until return for another visit. Don't like to give a wrong comment and the person could be just having a bad day. Will return in the near future.

Was looking for a last minute birthday gift for a 1 year old. Found exactly what I was looking for along with gift bag, greeting card, and fuller papers for the gift bag. I also had a friendly conversation with the cashier while I shopped and she stocked the shelves inbetween customers at the counter. A very positive experience.

They saved me on Thanksgiving!! I thought I had gotten everything.. I was wrong! Hannaford was closed so I crossed my fingers and my prayer was answered!! I was in and out.. nice staff.. no long wait.. clean organized.. it had all the little things.. you really don't think of..

The manager at this Dollar General store is top notch!! This is what I know about her....Her name is Michelle and when I called the store to ask if I had left my debit card there, she asked my name and verified that my card was there, reassuring me it was safe and sound....the next day she drove my debit card over 30 miles to return it to me!!! That is customer dedication!

Dollar General is not a dollar store. It's more like a small Wal-Mart. This one is well stocked, bright and clean (other Dollar General s are not). The prices on most items are cheaper here than at the Hannaford down the street. I have never been here when it was busy which is a plus because you can get in and out quickly. The only thing keeping this store from getting the 5th star is the difficulty you'll have taking a left out of the parking lot.

Nice ppl. Very clean. One of the few Dollar Generals to not have most areas blocked by boxes, displays or garbage. Just don't plan on shopping here for Tues. morning sales. ; -).

They have a wide variety of goods and pricing. They carry everything from home goods, supplies, to even great clothing selection. I always find great christmas decorations, gifts and pricing!

Most everyday household items can be purchased for a lower cost per unit than from other stores.Health and beauty items are also less expensive, especially if you're willing to buy the store branded merchandise.

Not bad. A lot of boxes in the way had trouble getting through the aisles. Always do have trouble going through the aisles. Not enough room.

This Dollar General in Johnstown is very cluttered. Hard to have more than one person in the aisles because it's small.

Soda used to be cheap here, $1 for 2L Mountain Dew Code Red and Voltage. It eventually went up to $1.30, but now it's just as expensive as Hannaford at $1.89. Since it went up, I haven't shipped here much, as that was basically the only thing they had cheaper than any other nearby store.
