Took my daughter there, it was a fun shopping experience. Lots of items to explore. There's even sports stuff like NY Sports teams like the Buffalo Bills flags and collectables right along with household gifts and kids unique mittens and socks. I really can't describe the place well. It's a huge gift shop with items you will not find in the malls.

Excellent folk art, house decorations, cards, gifts and lovely soy candles smelling terrific! The staff even gift wrapped w a bit and Ribbon! I will be back!!!

A really huge store full of all kinds of gifts.We stopped in today while visiting the area. We found a a some things we liked and the people were friendly. You can find a gift for anyone's taste in this place.They were also really nice and helpful..

A nice, small place for various kinds of gifts!!! You never know what you will find there!!! Lots of pretty and different things to choose from. They even have special sections of items to choose from!!! I loved their panda and owl sections!!! You never know what you will find there!!! Just a bit out of the way from the "big city", but I think it's worth the trip!!! There are two very nice apple stores nearby too. Make a day trip of it!!!

This gift shop is great! There's a big variety of styles and price points. Everything is grouped and displayed nicely but I think it would be hard to navigate if you use a wheel chair or walker. The staff are pleasant and helpful.

Great gift shop has a little something for everyone. My husband also likes the shop for its puzzles. I love the candles and the lady are always friendly. I also use to go here when I was little for there American girl doll assesories an love the birthday club.

Amazing store. They have everything to chose from. Great collections store. Love this place. Great customer services skills as well. Never know what you'll find .. Could spend hours going threw their beautiful collections.

Plan to spend some time and browse the very large and varied gift items arranged by subject matter. Large selection of gifts for more than 25 breeds of dogs arranged and labeled by breed. Helpful staff who are willing to direct you to what you are looking for or will allow you to wander just exploring the entire store. Not a good place to bring a stroller or small child since every inch of store is stocked with many small and fragile items.

No surprise that for many years the Cross Eyed Owl has been voted the Capital Districts best gift shop. I love this little shop. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Great selection of unique gifts. Well organized. Plus a huge selection of greeting cards.

I was there this past Sunday with my 86 year old Mom.We go out every Sunday to eat and take a drive.We stopped here and I purchased a cute apron and matching towel,3 soy candles and one other trinket to send to my daughter who lives in Vancouver Bc. I mailed them yesterday. Nice shop and very friendly staff!

One of, if not The Favorite store for me when I am in Valatie . I always bought the best gifts there plus the owner is delightful. I spent many a day chatting and laughing when I was supposed to be shopping :)Definite 5 star shopping !!

Thought this shop was so cute and probably would have come back every week to buy something new. However the lady was very rude and although they have a toy section they hate children and prefer you don't bring them in with you. So I will not be going back to buy anything unfortunately.

Love the Cross Eyed Owl. Great place to find that special item for a special someone. Prices go from quite reasonable to Wow, that's a lot of $$. Friendly, helpful staff. One of my favorite places to shop, especially for Christmas and Birthdays.

Always love coming here, there is something for everyone, for just about any occasion. Can't find something? Just ask one of friendly staff and they will point you in the right direction. Make sure you take your time and look at everything from floor to ceiling, and try not to bump into something!
