Only come here when absolutely need to. the employees don't seem to care and Walmart has changed a few of their policies. One of their selling points were they would price match competition as long as they had it in stock (this was a few years back) so i seen something i needed recently, and i asked if they still price match (i asked and didn't assume) because i rarely shop around if i know its the lowest price currently available. This was one of those occasions however where i did see the item lower somewhere else. The employee than, rudely said, "Why would we price match the competition, we're trying to make money". Really dude? I'm like whatever. So i left whatever stuff I was ready to buy and went to the competition.

Manager with the tramp stamps pierced all over her face scared me and refused to honor a mistake they made totally understand if it was one pole but all the poles were listed in that spot for 16 dollars they ended up being 100 dollar poles I get people make mistake but this was suppose to be a quick trip in for me and I had my mind set on a pole less then 20 dollars I was pumped it was my favorite color and for 16 bucks ya couldn’t go wrong she would not price match me and this has happened before and they honored the price for their mistake why should this be any different I called and left messages for store manager as well as reached out to corporate I have not heard anything back so I’m write this review. I never like going to n Utica and always shop at the new Hartford store where they are much more pleasant and not ratchet I hope that you can train people better to do their jobs and to be fare to others regardless of race or ethnicity no one should be treated any differently and it’s always been a rule that they honor their mistakes this lady was extremely rude and wouldn’t take blame for anything blamed it on having so many employees and them putting stuff in the wrong place here are pictures of her removing all the poles after she stated the associate made it seem like there was only one she knew she was in the wrong and still didn’t do what she was suppose to I will be calling corporate back because this is highly unfair

I shop there once a week. Prices are competitive. I usually buy paper products, snacks, and other merchandise. No meat product except for the deli.

They have much, much work to do to keep shelves n deli n clothing departments stocked- do a pretty good job. Helpful floor staff but maybe a bit light staffed..# wise.

The place is a joke. Feb 05,2024 , Only two cash register open. There was a line at self check out, I had to call the associate because the scale was acting up. I had 3 papaya on the scale, the fat lady (associate ) told me that i was trying to cheat by putting 3 papaya on the scale. I shut her up immediately by saying , " I didn't get training here to run these registers" . First the got no cashiers, Second they don't have enough associate to help self check out, Third they are extremely rude.

I went to Walmart looking for a womans Christmas sweater. I didn't find one, but all the other items on my list were in stock. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable about where items are located. Prices are good.

This was the cleanest well stocked Walmart I have ever shopped at. Also, if you needed help there were employees visible. Definitely recommend shopping at this location if you are in Utica NY!

Always really long lines!!! I have to wait at least 30 minutes each time! I ask them for more cashiers and they say no. Everything is locked up, like we are all criminals. Even gates with alarms! Checking our receipt every time we leave. The only people it punishes is the regular customers. Criminals will always find a way. All the toilet seats are broken in the bathrooms. Workers are rude. A few self checkout lines open. One or two actual cashier lines open. The rest of the checkouts are ALWAYS closed! They need to hire more workers and pay them better. And all of the prices are increasing on all items. My grocery bill has tripled. I ask for discounts on produce that looks like it probably should be thrown out, and they always say no! It really should be free. Walmart thinks it has so much power. They have been trying to take our freedoms before covid and now even more so. Always out of stock of many items. Always moving everything around in the store to get us to stay in the store longer and buy more! Needs more cashiers and baggers!!

Clean, scooter carts available, staff friendly and told me doors were locked on one side, etc before I wasted time parking in a bad spot. Well lit & felt safe with cameras, etc, even with weirdo barfing as he got out the driver seat. What do you expect late at night?

THEY DON'T CARE. This is "fresh tomatoes" bought from Walmart super center in Utica NY Riverside Center. It was rotten the day I bought it. Here's frozen food that isn't purchasable or some moldy cream cheese ... Walmart you need to step in NOW!!!

The worst costumer service ever...I was shopping today spend over $200 dollars plus and the cashier refused to bag my groceries! On the top that they pushing all customers to go check them self check out now this ... I will never go again to this store ... Why do we have to, I don't work for Walmart and I refuse to work for them, enough is I give them my hard earned money now I have to give money and work for them as well NO and unless someone changes they Lost me as coustomer.

Very uncomfortable customer service experience. A gentleman came in wanting to know how to go about getting his pick up order. The app wasn’t working and no one came out to see how they could assist him even though his vehicle was parked in the pick up space. Some might say that’s unreasonable, well I’ve used pick up in other places and this is the type of quality service provided. The poor quality of the app is infamous in all of the Walmart’s I’ve been too after traveling through 14 states. The woman who addressed him didn’t apologize but yelled at him that he needed to go back outside to be helped and he shouldn’t have come into the store. He explained the situation and she yelled go back to your car and call the number on the pole. I expressed how I was uncomfortable and I thought her customer service was rude and extremely lacking. Another representative who I was not speaking to at the time came over to tell me that’s just the way some of them provided customer service they speak loud. While I can appreciate a loud tone to convey directions, that does not address the disrespectful way in which her directions were communicated to the Walmart customer. This store needs some serious culture shifting and customer service training.

This is to the customers- Stop whining when the workers try to go home.Its YOU who are rude shopping at 10:55pm like you just woke up 😒 Don't complain when YOU can't get around the workers stocking then Whine about empty shelves.Pick one. Stop complaining when you can't get your dumb questions answered when the staff is trying to be fast and diligent getting their job done..if you can't find creamer by now, that's a YOU problem. Oh boy they make you being reusable bags 😩oh the humanity! No! They customers are NOT Always right! Do better and stop being so self entitled!

No cashier's open, long lines at self check outs, then they treat you like a criminal after they expect you to figure out how to scan an entire cart of groceries, that won't all fit on the tiny counter, but you dont have room to put them back in the cart yet. Workers are miserable, and not helpful and God forbid you make any kind of an error, them you're automatically a thief and stealing things.

Watched dozen cars come and go after I arrived for a curbside pickup. Seen other people waiting for 15 mins or more.. with no one bringing any orders out. Every time I come here I am reminded why I stopped shopping at Walmart over 8 years ago. The experience in and out of the store hasn't made me want to do business here. I am picking something up for someone else cause they forgot about it and had to leave town for business. I won't repeat that mistake.

Called someone for help with the buzzer just to pick up a cologne for my friend and waited over 30 mins just to open it. One of the employee claims that someone with a walkie talkie can hear it even though there was more than 13 people sitting there in the back of the pharmacy doing nothing but talk with each other while someone was asking for help from the front desk.Edit: It was around 7pm on a Monday

I usually give walmart a four out of five i cant rember if ive ever given them a five star or not. My experience with the tech department is definetely not good. Ive never been able to get anyone to help me with my straight talk phones. Straight talk is exclusively a walmart product. You buy your phone there you buy minute cards that are only available at walmart but when you mentionthat your happy with straight talk and not interested in verizon or att the staff walks away like you have covid.

Crazy packed, not so bad at 7am was busy today. Normal crowd. Lots of sales on summer stuff. Not bad tonight was quiet still the same but wicked busy. Not as bad at 1130 sunday morning.
