I like this location. I'm not sure why businesses in the past have struggled here. This new shop is awesome. Such a HUGE selection of flavors. Milkshakes, flurries, sundaes, ice cream. Wait time was short - about 3 minutes. I had the blueberry cheesecake ice cream and it was delicious. Highly recommend. I wish them the best of luck!

We stopped on a sunny 70 degree day. It was right around lunchtime so this was it. I got a cookie doughlicious regular size sundae. I didn’t finish it as it was too filling for me. The service was a little slow but there was only 1 person working the ice cream window when we got there

Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious! We had the mac and cheese burger as well as the boss burger and the basic cheeseburger. Family friendly. Highly recommend

Forget the ice cream: OMG THEIR FOOD!!🤤🤤🤤 Soooooo good. The Kookie Bowl with pulled pork, mashed potatoes &gravy, and mac & cheese was amazing. The pulled pork is great, sauced perfectly. The cornbread is amazingly good. Hubby's only complaint is brisket was a little bit too dry once, but he still loved it, and that could be attributed to the fact that it was right before closing when he ordered it. Also, they forgot the dipping sauce that comes with the fried cheesecake; that kind of ruined them, but even then they were still good. Maybe just double check that's in there next time. Fried mac & cheese bites were decent. The prices are very reasonable and definitely worth the amount of food you get. This place is quickly turning into a new favorite. I think they'll have no problem surviving through the cold months, as their ice cream is just one of the great things they offer. Next time give their food a try, you won't regret it; but, you probably won't have room to finish your ice cream after.

Very good ice cream spot with plenty of hard and soft flavors. The sundaes are huge and the price is great for what you get. If you are in Utica and love ice cream you MUST stop here.

Food was good. Service sucked. We were only 2 people in there to eat and the person made our food and put it under the heat lamp. Then went in the back and sat back there joking around with other employees. Nobody gave us our food. We went behind counter and got it ourselves. We are almost done eating and still haven't seen a single employee. Very few condiments out for customers. They just came back out from the back but only because another customer came in. Not impressed with your employees. One of the entrances is locked too. I won't come back. And I won't ever recommend this place. That customer got his food and all 3 employees disappeared into the back again

Keep in mind while reading this that there was one younger gentleman behind the counter during lunch rush, approximately fifteen people not including g myself being served in the half hour I was there.Tuesdays special is hotdogs, and there was no mustard.Menu board says cheeseburgers come with cheese and pickles, I opted to add lettuce I got a patty with cheese no lettuce, no pickles. I was also not offered any ketchup or relish.My son ordered a smoke house burger with no cheese he received a smoke house burger with cheese.As a business owner and food service manager I was not impressed by the cost considering the service and lack of condiments etc.

We had a great meal this afternoon. Fast courteous service. Reasonable prices and of course we had to top it all off with a generous serving of fantastic ice cream. Very pleased.

We love love love Kookies BBQ in the Utica Auditorium! If you want BBQ and to watch a hockey game then this is a perfect mix. The Mac n cheese with a pulled pork sandwich is amazing! It's a must have at a Utica college hockey game. Enjoy!

Usually go here at least twice a week for lunch. Go tonight with the wife, order the same burger I usually get and it looked like someone ran it over with a tractor trailer!!!! Service this evening was absolutely horrible, don’t know what is, the difference between lunch and evening workers??? But won’t came back in the evening anymore

The ice cream was not custard, it was terrible. Got a strawberry sundae and the served it with strawberry pie filling g. The whip cream was nit real cream. Terrible sundae.

Food was great. The reason for 4 stars is because the cashier in the food section was very bothered by the fact that I was interrupting her day. No, it wasn't busy at all.

Friendly staff and clean facilities. Hot dog that we ordered had an odd color and texture. Mac and cheese was soft and bland. Went out to get ice cream and menu items were not available and soft serve did not taste like advertised flavor.

The staff was friendly and the floor was clean. My burger was dry as was the chicken we ordered. I'm not sure what the hot dog was made out of, but it's coloring was of concern. Afterwards, we had some ice cream. It was good and the staff was friendly.

First time trying here - ordered a #6 - cinnamon toast crunch sundae. Paid $2 extra for "double toppings". $8+ for a Sundae that was smaller than a regular sundae at Nicky doodles and had less toppings even though we paid for double. It also had chocolate sauce on it, not sure why, the description doesn't say that it's supposed to have chocolate. They also serve with deep soup style spoons which makes it a little hard to eat. Two stars because it's Hershey ice cream which is great.

It is a very nice place; friendly and good service. However, I can taste the additives in the ice cream and not worth the calories. There are much better small local places that taste like old world pure ice cream. I only had the soft serve though.

Now don’t get me wrong, the ice cream is wonderful! So many different kinds of flavors and variety’s. I am not talking about the ice-cream because it can be 5 stars most of the time. I am talking about the food. Most specifically the burger! Oh my god. I don’t like to eat meat. And what I witnessed at kookies and Q’s was really shooking! They put my vegan burger (the beyond burger) on the same grill where they put the beef patty’s on!?! Like I orders a vegan burger not a vegan burger covered in blood and meat grease!

Decent options and prices, and flavors are typical of most ice cream joints, staff very friendly and fast. That being said, what will keep me and my family coming back are the Pup Sundays! It's not on the menu, but if you ask for doggy ice cream, they give you a cup of vanilla with Beggin Strips decorating the top. Hands down, my new favorite place to come with our fur babies. Lots of outdoor seating and the lines move fast.

I finally got around to going here and Mann was it worth the wait...(Delicious) I had a sundae with butter finger toppings and caramel and almost everything 😅. It was great. I can't wait to try their burgers and shakes.

First time going and it was amazing the ice cream very creamy and tasty. My family and I wanted an evening treat after a long day. This was definitely the place to go. We will be back . We had an almond joy sundae, the oh oh oreo sundae,and a plain chocolate custard cone.

Had a great time at Kookies. The service was fast and courteous. Food was as ordered, hot, tasty and on time. I recommend this place for a relaxed atmosphere and family dinning. Oh, don't forget the ice cream

We thought the burger were small. The ice cream was overpriced for the amount you got. Wow two small little scoops in a cup. It all tasted good. The service was good. It is nice to have a lot of seating outside and enjoy the nice weather.

I went there on Friday. I ordered a large chocolate peanut butter and 2 medium moose tracks all in a dish. The chocolate peanut butter was good but they gave me a half scoop of the moose tracks. I’m sure that doesn’t equal to a medium size. So I called to speak to the manager got told he wasn’t there and that he would call me Saturday or Sunday and here it is Monday night still no call from him. Also some of the girls that work there are very rude and need to work on their customer service skills.
