No prices on or near merchandise and cashier told me that everything is different on the truck every week so it doesnt make sense to put the price. I can feel free to bring each item up to her for a scan if im concerned. I dont think they know about weights and measures. Also, when cashing me out she was on the phone (personal phone)and made me take my own receipt from the register. 4/29/24 12:59 pm from my receipt.

Me and my kids love this place. The store is always clean and the employees are very welcoming and helful. This location has so many basic needs and so much more.

ABSOLUTELY the rudest manager on the planet. Treated me like a thief because I had a tax exempt form. Sorry the company I was buying for requires tax exempt purchases! She ARGUED even after I gave her the instructions on their OWN website and email! Acting like I stole and changed tags all for a $1.00 clothing item. Get real. NYS and the company says I can use tax exempt. I PROVIDED ALL proof and still denied it. Will never shop there again and I WILL be calling corporate. I HAVE NEVER BEEN treated so badly in a store in my life. Then she had the audacity to say, "All that drama over a $1.... whatever she mumbled. It wasn't over the tax it is required by the business for their books. If she was smart enough to run a business she would know how things worked.

I always feelBad for the employees. They have to put up with crazy customers. A grown man was throwing things at the cashier because they had no bags available.

I was visiting Proctor park I went into this Family Dollar store for a few things. Very uninviting, signs to leave your bags at the counter etc. Cashier never greeted me very cold establishment. Isles blocked by storage bins...employee blocked isle while texting never moved. Checkout was the best! Cashier ran my items through walked away and from a distance told me to get my own receipt off the machine.

Horrible! I walked into the store to get my item, i had my item in my hand about to walk to the register. A man that worked there came up to me and said i had to bring my purse up front to continue shopping. I proceeded to tell him i was done and ready to check out so he did not need it. The employee didnt like that so he told me to give him my purse or leave. Moments later a older lady walked in with same size purse but she didnt have to the same. I was told to leave the premises unable to purchase the one item i came for. The worst store i have ever been to. I understand that some people steel but thats not everyone and they lost a customer for life because of there inability to see the difference. They do this to many people and I have never been so disrespected in my life!

Walked in with my friends (us 3 Asian college students) and we were being loud as we were laughing when we walked in. but, as soon as we got in, they started acting hostile towards us. The cashier, she was an African descent, questioned our age in an aggressive manner and call over to watch us as if we were going to steal something. Mind you, I am a broke college student but I would never be as low or petty enough to steal things. Then an African American male, who appeared to be the workers friend, asked if he was needed in the situation despite us answering their question politely and tried to be on our best behavior even though they were being so rude. It was like a threat when he asked them. I got some stuff and PAID for them and as I was about to leave, one of the worker stopped me and asked me to take things out of my pocket and I did as I was asked, nothing but my keys and wallet then she said “you can go” wow.

Absolutely worst family dollar in the area!!! The last 3 times I had to go shopping there (as recent as last night & tonight!) My toddler son & I were actually FOLLOWED through the store! I have never in my 30 years of life experienced such an attempt at belittling! Not to mention the 2 women who did it (consider the source!). Although the gentleman who cashed us out Justin was a pleasure & very helpful! But last nights closing staff & the woman who is currently working need to go to the court st store or something!

Upon leaving the store after paying for a $38 purchase a young clerk by the name of Zach a had an attitude with me when I came back I told him I was in customer service for 30 years and it was his responsibility because he was behind the counter to make sure I received my purchases he had an attitude with me and I told him I would report him I've been doing business there for 17 years without one problem from any employee except this young punk that you people hired.
