Perfect place to get your hunting/finishing/camping/pretty much everything outdoors items!They have AMAZING decor and their candles are deliciously scented. I love the toasty coat selection they got up in there for them COLD winters. You gotta make sure you keep warm during ‘dat!Anyway… I walked right up in there and got me one of them Bass Pro Hats! Perfect fit. 💪🏼Oh! And yes. The Fish Tank in the back is a family favorite. Them kids always wanna see them fishes.

I like this place, is a sure visit every time we are in Utica. They usually have a great selection of clothes, but this recent trip, seems like they did not have a great variety. But still it is a great place to visit even though I don’t support hunting.

This weekend, I went to the bass pro shop, the service is bad, inappropriate. My bank card didn't work, the cashier was insulting because it was a Canadian institution. When I took out my credit card to complete the transaction, the cashier became hysterical and insolent saying that Bass Pro Shop did not take Canadian money. When the credit card worked, she was insulted. She didn't understand that banks transform Canadian money into US money. She ruined my shopping experience in this store. I don't think I'll go back

Always well stocked with anything you need. It would have been a better experience had I not purchased Ammo. This is not the fault of the store or the employees, but that of our Governor who keeps insisting on penalizing law abiding gun owners.

The little fella at the gun counter with the ammo got an attitude about where I lived and what the city limits were. This is like a good old boys store. I love bass pro shops and Cabela’s, but this is the worst one that I’ve been into.

Smaller outpost store, but that doesn't mean the deals or product selection are lacking. The aquarium and taxidermy are really well maintained too. There is an onsite marine drive shop if you need you boat serviced. The staff is always friendly and the location is great. Don't forget the fish feeding times!

I go here out of tradition annually for the free Santa photo. They have options to purchase a light up frame as well as additional photos to send out to loved ones. Highly recommend.

If you are a woman, aren’t that knowledgable on guns, or care about your 2nd Amendment rights, don’t go to Bass Pro Shop. I found a shotgun online I wanted and went to the store to buy it. My boyfriend did most of the talking because he knows a lot more than I do about guns. I told them it was for me and I was purchasing the gun so she had me start filling out the application but went and got someone else, Mike P., who came over trying to intimidate me not believing it was for me. Meanwhile my boyfriend had his pistol permit out looking at pistols. I again told them it was for me and I was the buyer. Mike went and got yet another person who said they would not sell it to me. I was treated like a criminal! They didn’t even let me finish filing out my application to run a background check. Not just poor customer service but poor human interaction with all of them. The guy trying to intimidate me then smerked at me as I was told they wouldn’t sell me the gun. I have never been in trouble with the law and they had zero lawful reason to deny me a sale. The people beside us had the same issue but they were able to make a purchase. I don’t know why I was discriminated against. Bass Pro Shop should be ashamed and Mike P. should be be fired! My rights don’t end where his superiority begins.

Absolutely ridiculous wait in the ammo section. They have a QR code to scan to get you in a queue. Still standing around while the staff stares at everyone. No reason the wait to buy ammo, etc should be 30 minutes just to be acknowledged. Then someone ahead of me was getting the EXACT same thing I needed, and they couldn't get me a box at that time. 😡 Still waiting...

Love this store! Great outdoor sports store and I love the clothes. Nice rustic country home decor, novelty items (like Moon Pies!) and more. Something for everyone! Nice game fish aquarium in the back.

Don’t buy any Christmas presents more than 60 days before you try to return/exchange. Store policy… 60 days. They still sell the shirts, too.

The worst shopping experience I have ever had in my life. Management did little to nothing to justify what had happened in the store that day. I drove 3 1/2 hours to pick up a new bicycle for my son. The lady at the register ran the whole order through which total almost 1700 after running it through the register crashed so she had to have a manager come and fix it. The manager instead of going to a different register ran the entire order through the same one. After this happened she said the register crashed again and this time putting my credit card on hold. That wasn't enough she tried to run it again which completely stopped my credit card from working. When I asked them what they were going to do about this they told me to come back and they would try to run it through again. They did nothing to satisfy me or even justify the length of travel that I had gone on not only standing at the register for over an hour and a half and they asked me why I was getting upset. They did nothing to fix this I left with nothing in the back of my truck for my son's birthday this hasn't been the first time does it happen. Several times that I have gone the same thing has happened but was never the size of this order. If they can't operate the store efficiently they need to close it because I'm sure this has happened to many other customers by the reviews I've seen they are now trying to fix what they did wrong and I'm waiting for a call. I will return with the results and how they handled the situation

Very clean and organized store! It was my first time there and I was shopping for my daughters birthday gift. An associate helped me find exactly what I was looking for! Even checking out was a great experience just super informative and friendly. And I want people to know that their prices are very competitive. Don’t be afraid of the big name it’s a very affordable store.

Disneyland for the outdoors person. Friendly staff. Nice selection of camping and hunting and fishing supplies. The huge aquarium is amazing. Definitely a destination that you should go.

Love this store! Always a great visit the staff are always friendly helpful and genuine. Huge fish tank with great examples of popular fish species.Check availability of items you may be interested in online before coming.I wish they had more choices for hats and camouflaged clothing that was not just pure blaze orange or camouflaged but a broken up mix of blaze and camo so you wouldn't have to commit to a single color yet the high visibility color mixed into a camo pattern. Maybe a selfish thought but I do better in the hunting when I think I blend in. Also It would help hunters abide by the new regulations in NYS of needing a hat or vest with blaze orange or Pink or those colors mixed into a pattern. So we can all be safe and successful while hunting.

Went to the store in Utica NY today. I had a rather unique situation involving a product return ( a pair of winter gloves). Dealt with Bobby in customer service and he was great. I was more than happy with the gift card ( that quickly resolved the return ) that was given to me. I used the card and then some before I left with to new shirts. The lady working the check out was also very nice to deal with. Store was also neat clean organized and well lite. Great selection of shirts. Happy customer...

Just to keep them at 1 star, they also follow new jersey state law as opposed to new York state law now as far as ammo sales go.Good job bass pro.Someone busy with a customer called another employee to help some customers out in a locked cabinet section as there were 4 people, including myself, waiting for help.. The guy comes over and helps one person and then doesn't come back. When he does come back, it's to help someone else. I reminded him I was waiting, and purchased a box of 500 rounds of ammunition, and then the box ended up only having 447 rounds in it.

Best to have a clear credit card for shopping here...even the candy is pricey. Thumbs down shopping experience as it's a long drive for us.Heck,they didn't have a set of wooden oars IN STOCK....this IS a boating area. SMH
