I found Alan Byer a few years ago, when my 2005 s60 needed maintenance and my local body shop refused to do maintenance on it.The customer service is exceptional here. I leased a newer Volvo from them, and in the end bought it. I love my car!I drive over an hour to have them take care the regular maintenance. Yes, there is a dealership in Albany, but Alan Byer always has a spare car for me to drive, and can get me in on a timely manner.Friendly staff and the quality of work they do, is so worth the miles and time it takes to come to them. They will treat you like family.

I recently purchased a 2017 Volvo v60 Cross Country. I am extremely please with the purchase. Dave is an honest sales man who focuses on customer satisfaction. What sold me on the car was not only that it was what I was looking for. But Dave allowed me to take it on multiple test drives and attended any unforeseen problems that came with the car. The vehicle had 77k miles on it at time of purchase. Dave made sure to follow up with me after the sale to see if there were any problems with the car. Naturally there were 2 small things that came up. But he backed up his sale by having them attended to for no additional charge. Michael who I believe is the service writer, was able to get me scheduled even with my busy schedule. Lastly the atmosphere at Alan Beyer is that of customer appreciation. This is why I now fully understand why they have many repeat buyers!Thank you Dave and Michael!!!

Brought in my Volvo XC90 with a code issue that other auto shops seemed to scratch their heads in question. They were able to diagnose the source pretty quickly and had me back in my vehicle the very next day. The estimate was reasonable and putting me in a loaner vehicle during my repair was another convenience that added to the seamless experience. Mike and Jason were great to deal with, too!

I had several issues with my Audi, including a snapped-off lug bolt (a pain to fix). Mike S. from the Utica service department was awesome, fixed 3 separate issues with my car, kept me up to date the whole time, and the cost were very reasonable. Best of all, I just walked in and did even schedule this work...and he still got everything fixed within 24 hours (including ordering and installing 4 new tires). 5 stars, will be back to this service department (and Mike) for SURE.

They are the only ones we trust to get the job done the right way and in a timely fashion. I purchased a used Volvo and fortunately this dealership was able to offer the Volvo extended warranty. The gentlemen at this establishment did a nice job taking care of me and I am not an easy person to please. They were patient and professional. They were also readily available by text, email, and phone. Most importantly, they delivered on their promises.When I picked up my vehicle, they took the time to demonstrate the functions of the car. My car was beautifully cleaned too!Overall, I would definitely recommend this seller. Save your money and buy a used car with more options.

Best car purchase experience I’ve ever had. The GM, Peter, went above and beyond, keeping the dealership open late to accommodate my work schedule, took my trade and gave me a loaner car for a long weekend to drive from Utica NY to Boston and back to upstate while they prepped the car and certified it, then he drove 90 miles to deliver it to me in Albany NY. All that and a fair price on a great car. Followed up after to check in/see if I had questions etc. just unbelievable to get that kind of “customer first” treatment all down the line.
