This is my third Freedom No Pull Harness that I have ordered from this company. Jessica and her husband are always so helpful. I love the fact that they help you with measuring your dog to get the correct fit. They send the harness already adjusted for your dog’s size, which helps a lot! I thought my recent harness was too big, so both Jessica and her husband were on the phone with me to see if the harness needed adjusting. They had me text them pictures so they could see exactly how the harness fit on my dog. Even when I placed my order online, they contacted me because they thought the harness was not the right size for my dog and they wanted to make sure I was getting the correct fit for her. They both went above and beyond. I can’t say enough about the excellent customer service they provided.

TLDR: Horrible communication, delivers defective products, and hasn't delivered products I paid for.I got a puppy and measured him for a harness, he was smack dab in the middle of small. So I entered his dimensions and ordered a small harness. When it came it was way too big and could not be adjusted small enough to fit him. I emailed USA Dog Shop ... zero reply.Inevitably he chewed through the harness because it was way too big. I paid my $15 for a replacement (this is a nice feature!) and ordered a second harness at full price to go with it. I ordered the second (medium) harness because I wanted it shipped ASAP so I wouldn't be without a harness for my dog. I sent my original chewed harness back that day. It took 10 days to receive the medium harness, and it has been three weeks and still no replacement harness. I contacted the dog shop again, no reply.The medium harness that arrived is built wrong and has an extra twist in it and rubs on my dogs shoulder. Needless to say he hates this harness now. I have again emailed the dog shop, sent them pictures, and used their contact us form, still no reply.In summary I would not recommend purchasing from them. There are other harnesses with the same features from companies who offer better customer service and deliver the products people have paid for.

I cannot speak highly enough of this amazing shop, Jessica the owner, or her dog harnesses. I have 3 dogs who all use it and it's made leash training them super easy and is safe as well. As a veterinary technician, I see all kinds of ill fitting harnesses that do nothing for your dog. This harness is different and I recommend it to everyone I know.Jessica is kind and willing to answer any questions about anything in her store. I am so glad I live so close by.

Love the freedom no pull harness!! We bought our first one four years ago. It is still in perfect shape and our go to harness. Just ordered a couple more for the new puppies. The harnesses work perfectly and are very comfortable for our fur babies. I recommend these to everyone!

My husband was lucky that he came into the USA DOG SHOP with me or else I would have maxed out our credit cards. We purchased a flawless fleece lined, water-resistant, custom jacket made by Jessica (the owner). It transforms at the neck to shorten or extend for winter weather. Jessica even made a hole for a harness and flaps that hug our dog’s hind legs, but still avoids her butt and tail. Jessica thought of everything - and has made me wish Google would offer more than five stars on a review. I don’t live near Tuxedo, but I will definitely return for this pet shop!

Fantastic shop, fantastic harness and Jessica is a fantastic owner. We purchased Jessica's Freedom No Pull harness for our Labrador Ruby. Our dog's walk were instantly transformed from a pull to a walk, stopping and turning on command with only a small amount of effort. We are lucky enough to live 45 minutes south of Jessica's shop so we were able to drive up to have our girl properly fitted. I only recommend shops or services that I would constantly visit and USA Dog Shop is one of them. Jessica in no way tried to sell us anything at all so there were no sales pressure techniques. She spent at least a good hour working with us and we so appreciate that. Please consider visiting her shop if purchasing her harness even if it's a drive for you, it's worth the time and proper fitting. The store itself is fantastic, super clean and has a wonderful feel to it. The store feels more like a antique shop than typical pet shop. I also purchased some really unique toys for our dog. It's also a small business and I prefer to shop small businesses that know their products well. Oh, we also felt her harness works so well that we purchased a second one as a backup in case the first harness gets chewed. :)

Fantastic experience with USA Dog Shop. Jessica went out of her way to ensure I received the correct size of harness for my dog. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the importance of getting the correct size. My dog trainer recommended the Freedom No Pull Harness. I was amazed. I had a great experience with Jessica. I had ordered a harness and before she shipped it she called to talk me through measurements and adjustments. We had one at home already we thought was too big but she walked me through adjusting it properly. Seriously incredible customer service. And we love the harness for our crazy lovable border collie.

What a great experience. We'd been searching for coats to fit our corgi mixes for quite some time. Jessica was very helpful and thorough in spending time with us and making sure the coats fit properly (something so few coats out there actually do). They were high quality and seem like they will last.What a great store too, almost everything is made in USA. Something SO TOUGH to find today!We'll definitely be coming back!

The customer service here is amazing!I bought a XL harness for my pup online. I used it for a little while & then thought it was too large. I then placed an order for a L harness online. The owner (Jessica) called me. I missed her call & then her husband called me the next day. He took the time to look at pictures of my dog with his harness on and explain to me (at 9pm in the evening) how to properly size and use the harness I had already purchased. I in fact did not need a smaller size!I was extremely grateful they took the time to educate me as most businesses nowadays wouldn't even bother to call or provide this level of personal customer service.I cannot recommend the harness & this business enough! They truly care about dogs and their products!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!I LOVED THIS STORE, until now ! Winter is coming and my senior dog needed a jacket of some sort to keep him warm. As his fur is not the same thickness it once was. I fit my dogs normally in EVERYTHING USA Dog has to offer. I was not met with the same customer service, I normally experience spending 100's of dollars in the store yearly. Why you ask? Well I regretfully didn't bring him with me and trusted JESSICA, ( the owners advice) and the jacket I brought home for him did not fit him. He wore this coat maybe 1 hour, when the belt that goes around his body would not stay on. When I brought it back to return it I was met with a policy that is not posted anywhere and nastiness. The customer service went out the window. Jessica refused to take the jacket back, claimed it was "dirty and used" ( it had some dog hair on it from me trying to make it work for him since it was OVER $100. Even though I was not asking to return my entire order ( I got my second dog a jacket as well) Jessica refused to make right on my purchase, telling me I can have over 100 dollars in treats or a store credit or and exchange for an even more expensive jacket... I don't need any of that I need a jacket that is going to fit him & my money back. this was a very unfortunate experience for me from this store.So before you go in and spend 100's like me make sure you supporting someone who doesn't only support taking your money, but also giving it back when somethings not right.

Sign by the door said opens at 10, waited from 9:50 - had to walk into street to see shop name as wasn't on door. Looked it up online and Google said 10:30 opens. - really should be able to trust the posted sign.Disappointed to wait and not be able to shop! Definitely saw things would have purchased but just passing through the area so won't be back.

What a fantastic store! Allen is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We love our new harness, which fits our dog perfectly. Kat at the front knew how to measure our dog and fit the harness with ease. It's hard to find a good pet store and I think it's important that you don't let some of the other reviewers dissuade you from stopping in. I'll be sure to stop in again soon!Update: I met Jessica and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. She was wonderful and my dog was able to meet and play with her own. What a great experience and shop, I cannot say enough good things! All dog owners should stop here at least once!

An incredible experience. We brought our babies in for some new harnesses and leashed today because we were told by a family friend that we should shop and this wonderful family pet shop. She was right, the reason I say family pet shop is because the minute you walk in Jessica makes you feel right at home and as if your fur babies are her fur babies. So we picked up two of each, marine dog leash, Jessica’s patented designed Hound Dog harness and cycle dog collars. Amazing how she guided us to come to an amazing informed decision on what to outfit our two little ladies Petra and Snow with this great ensamble. Great service & great product! I ordered the Freedom No pull dog harness for my Airedale that I was going to take to puppy class. I also got the 4 configuration leash. First of all I always shop Made in the USA first....and I found it here. So that is bonus #1. Both products are made of high quality materials. And I received my order within a few days. I tried it out throughout puppy class and I love it! I looked around class and mine was by far the best quality product. The trainer even asked where I got it because she hadn't seen a leash like mine. I love the versatility of the leash. USA dog shop even pre-sized the harness to the measurements that I provided when I ordered. Thank you thank you for such a great product! And especially that it is Made in the USA...that is very very important to me. I would strongly recommend them to everyone. I will be shopping there again for sure! I have not been to the store, but I did order the freedom harness, collar and 10 position leash on line. Although I felt the website and ordering process was quite clear. Within an hour of placing the order, Jessica herself called me to discuss and confirm the information I had input. WOW, how refreshing! A business owner that actually cares enough to make sure the order that was placed had the best chance to be correct and that I would be happy with my choice. She also sent a hand written note thanking me for the order, and also took the time to pre-adjust my harness to the approximate measurements from the order form. The harness fit almost perfectly! And not only that it took literally 3 minutes for my 4 month old GSD pup to understand and respond correctly to the system. Awesome customer service. When I ordered my first harness in October I paid for upgraded shipping but when I was tracking our package the delivery date kept getting delayed and was not going to come within the window for priority shipping. I called and I got a call back very quickly and Jessica shipped us a harness that day express for free and refunded what I paid for priority. Fast forward to now, and our dog broke a harness buckle playing outside on a rope. Jessica called me back the next day and sent us a replacement.

Amazing and super adorable pet store for dogs! They even have some cat supplies which I wasn’t expecting but super adorable! Super product! Super customer service.Our vet recommended the Freedom Harness for one of our dogs.I ordered one after doing the appropriate measurements.It quickly arrived. And included a note saying the harness had already been adjusted to fit our dog! Wow. Tried it on Cory. He accepted it with no issues. And it does the job! All it takes is a tiny amount of pressure on the leash and he pulls right back into place.Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!

Great product when they actually send what is ordered. (No pull dog harness) Customer service is lacking in the worst way. They don’t return calls. Then when you finally get in touch with someone, they have an attitude about it, instead of simply apologizing and responding to your original question. This company is not accommodating at all and I do not recommend them, take your money elsewhere, a company that appreciates their consumers instead of fights with them. No accountability whatsoever and quite frankly it’s WEIRD!More to come as I have yet to return my item. I won’t be surprised if they figure out a way not to accept my returned item and not give me my refund.

I have been searching for years for good plush toys that don’t squeak — and thanks to you I finally found them! My pup loves plush toys and get so sad when I take away his usual squeaky ones. I needed something that would keep him occupied without the constant squeaking while I’m trying to work. He loves these toys so much! He’s a strong chewer and they are super durable. He loves to play around with them and cuddle with them, and they’re the perfect toys to keep him ohysicallt and mentally stimulated. We love our new Freedom Harness and leash! Our trainer in San Diego recommended them and it makes such a difference on our walks. If you supply your dog’s measurements, Jessica will send the harness to you fitted perfectly. A game changer!!!!!
