Have almost anything you could need and cheap price. Unfortunately don't restock too well. Gotten far better since they finished their overhaul. Staff seems to be a little more helpful but still have a few points to work on. Keeping the shelves stocked is the biggest. Posetive attitude is the next.

Clean and had everything we needed. This store definitely caters to hikers in the area- lots of good things you might want to eat or carry on you while hiking. Lots of parking, and it’s right across the street from a nice park.

I shop dollar general, I don't ever shop family dollar stores. dg has cheaper prices, and for a little bit dg had a junkie crew. Heather, was very rude, Jeannie, was great, sucks she's gone! Anyways there was a new lady in the store tonight who was very polite, and very helpful, that's the two things I like, cheaper prices, productive workers, who are polite!

It's just Amazing - we traveled over from Saranac Lake to the Tupper Lake NY store. 22 mile difference & there were OTHER differences! Cleaner, set up well, better lay out. & their Halloween Candy was still in an aisle!I went in Saranac Lake's store on Wed eve looking for Halloween Candy.I was SHOCKED when I walked in & went over to the usual aisle for Holiday items.I could tell right away the Holiday being set up was :CHRISTMAS not HALLOWEEN !!!I ended up looking on the Mark Down Table for boxes upon boxes - the candy display boxes. It was hard to find what I wanted because they were stacked so tight on one another. I would like to have been able to find another bag of white chocolate assorted mix, but I looked as best as I could. I marked it down to 4 stars hoping that someone would see the differences & what a TOUGH TIME I had finding Halloween candy in Saranac Lake, not for the Tupper Lake store -- they get *****

The store is very spacious and has alot more things than a regular dollar General would. Which makes it a life saver if you forget something in town. Service is good employees are very respectful and kind.

Place is nasty manager steals laundry soap watch the cameras itll show how she didnt scan the big gain laundry soap from the store and is very rude to customers and if theres a sale and it rings in wrong she dont change it something needs to be done i use to shop there but i now take my business to family dollar where its cleaner and the shelves are stocked place need a better manager

Super helpful staff gave us masks, as we had forgotten ours. She really helped us out of a jam with all that I'd forgotten packing for camping.

Carts always blocking the shelves boxes everywhere nothing’s ever in stock a lot of times you have to wait to check out because who knows where the cashiers are empty coffee cups energy drinks liter the shelves just a slum and parking lot looks like multiple ieds have gone off

The store was filled with carts full of boxes in the isles so you couldn’t see what was on the shelves. I asked for help finding 2 products and was told they were in the back but I would have to come back the next afternoon and hopefully they would be on the shelves by then. I don’t plan on returning there again.

Probably the dirtiest most unorganized dollar general ive come across in northern ny always boxs stacked in front of everything always out of products someone should teach whoevers in charge how to do truck orders

This store is a wreck it's always a mess cardboard all over doesn't matter the time or day you walk in still looks the same cluster of random stuff on the floor around the register poor girl almost fell trying to walk around them garbage in carts carts all over the parking lot and sidewalk employees just wear whatever they want no name tags or anything most of the time they're never anywhere in sight you'll be waiting to check out forever because you'll have to wander around to get someone to check you out the one girl couldn't figure out how to use the register the other day it was awful do they not train there employees any longer they have sales tags up from weeks ago they will not give you the sale price if the tag is still up they just say what it rings up is what it is

Very disappointing.The store was filthy and extremely disorganized. Stores like this is why people are afraid to move to rural towns. If I could give a half star I would have but didn’t have that option.

I had stopped shopping at the Tupper Lake location because of the condition of the store and the lack of product. It's totally changed🙄 Very happy with the condition and great customer service.

Everything you expect in a dollar store. Nice variety of seasonal, greeting cards, birthday cards for a dollar. Some are 2 for a dollar.

Overall a good store, however, tends not to open on time. Sometimes over an hour past the posted times (8am-10pm everyday)

The store didn't have shelves stocked couldn't get everything I needed. This is been going on for 3 months now in ready to shop somewhere else
