My mother’s storage unit was flooded when it rained. Countless belongings and irreplaceable family photos were destroyed. They didn’t even offer to waive the month’s rental fee.CubeSmart will clean these water damaged units out and rent them again to other unsuspecting people who might have their stuff destroyed the next time there is heavy rain.

Jesse and Nysha provided excellent customer service. Clean facility and simple process !!Edit.... they said if i pay for 1 month i would get 1 free. Now a month later here they are saying i should pay for the free month i was told about. They say anything for you to sign the papers. Changed from 5 stars to 1.

Super easy process. I was able to make reservations online for free. My unit was held until I was ready to come in and finalize the contract. Very easygoing and friendly staff. After two months in the storage unit, my monthly payment went up 25%. That's a big hike! I received a notice in the mail the month of the increase that I would be paying $50 more per month. In addition, I went there several times last summer and the hallway to my unit was warm/hot. There was no climate control, which is the reason I stored my things there to begin with. I told the manager about it and she said they were addressing it. But I went 3-4 times between May and July and each time it was hot. Then, when I went to move out my things in October, there was debris everywhere in my unit. I showed this to the manager on duty as I was moving out. The top of my stored items had debris and oxidation all over it. I'm not sure what it was. It was everywhere. It seems that they had been doing duct work right above my unit, which caused a lot of debris, and no one bothered to clean it up or even let me know about it. I was lucky that everything I had there was well wrapped with moving blankets or in boxes. The manager on duty took no accountability even though it was clear that someone had been doing work right above my unit. He said he didn't know what happened and that they would need to look into it. I was not impressed with the customer service both times I had to speak to the management.UPDATE 11/4/22: I sent my account info (as requested in CubeSmart's response below) and photos of my storage unit when I vacated, which was full of debris and dirt, as described in my initial comments. CubeSmart's customer service sent it to the Tuckahoe district manager of that store and told me that I would hear back from the manager shortly. That was 5 days ago. I have still not heard from anyone from management from that store.

I am a renter at this cubesmart location in tuckahoe and I just wanna say I love the service and the way the business is ran. The professionalism by the workers there are amazing. One of the workers named Nysha is the best every time I come in she greets me with a smile and helpful information about my unit. Highly recommend

Highly advise against renting here, pay the extra money and go to Westy’s across the street. Unit was promised to be climate controlled but the building is boiling hot. When we arrived to move items in, the unit was covered in rodent droppings. I have called numerous times to cancel my rental and get a refund but no one will return my calls. The building itself reeks of horrible chemicals and none of the maps are updated, making it an absolute ordeal to find some of the units. Was also not told that the building I was placed in had an elevator that cannot accommodate large furniture. DO NOT RENT HERE! If I could give them zero stars, I would.

This storage is the best location for me, because it has a 24 hr access to the loading dock Incase shipment is late, I can unload late at night. This storage is awesome because I can drop off my kid at school which is located on the next ave and be at storage within mins. This storage is in a nice , quiet location, not a busy street, a lot of parking, a gas station next door, fill up the tank and get on the main st and head to the parkway, there’s a park, hotel, gym, a brewery, pet day care, church near the facility. Mike was the one who registered my rental but now Jessie and Naja covers the desk. They are cool, polite , kind , friendly staff. They will do their best to accommodate customers interest.

Always had great customer service at CubeSmart Self Storage of Tuckahoe. Jesse Orellana was very understanding and helped me in finding just what I needed for a great price. Only problem I do have with CubeSmart is that the monthly prices do raise from time to time and gets to be kinda of pricey. People that work there are extremely friendly and do their best to help.

So far, my experience at this CubeSmart in Tuckahoe has been good. Nelson the manager was very nice and straight forward. Recently got myself a small 5x8 unit. The facility is clean, lit up well (I like the motion sensor lights in the storage unit area hallways), and seems pretty secure. I haven't had any experience personally with other storage facilities so I have nothing to compare it to, but I like this place so far! I was lucky to get the last small unit that they had available. I was a little unhappy about them charging me a little more because it was their last small one. Overall though, good place so far!

Clean place, variety of sizes, convenient accessible hours. A little expensive but it was the closest to my house. Easy payment options and easy to close it out. Just closed out the unit after about 15 months. They need to update the maps inside to help you find your unit. They are old. That's why I have 4/5 stars. I would recommend this facility.

I had arranged to upgrade to a larger unit, but had to reschedule the transfer date. The manager, Nysha, called back to say another unit, closer to our first space, had become available and could offer it at a better price. The call really made my day!
