The best part about our stay was our host, Michelle, she gave the best local recommendations. Everything she told us to check out was fantastic, like the local farmer’s market. Communication was excellent, even before we arrived. The house itself was lovely & historic. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet: we slept very well. We appreciated the mini fridge with freezer in the common area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Next time we come back we will definitely book a spa treatment in their building next door.We would definitely stay here again and we would highly recommend this place to our friends and family.Nearby activities: Check out the local farmer’s market on Wednesdays. Taughannock Falls is only five minutes away.Walkability: Quick walk to an awesome coffee shop and market.

The Inn at Gothic Eves was a phenomenal B&B. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Stayed 4 nights, and had 4 of the most delicious breakfasts. Each one was better than the last. My wife and I got a couples massage and the facility was very clean, the massage therapists were terrific. Can't say enough good things about our stay. Can't wait to get back!

The inn and grounds are lovely and the staff are warm and gracious! Furnishings in each room are nicely appointed with a lot of thought put into blending aesthetics and function. We stayed in the Merlot room upstairs in the back of the house with a beautiful, large Victorian architectural window overlooking the patio and garden. The bed was very comfortable and the staff happily changed pillows from down to down-alternative for us. The bedroom area is cozy in size but has a nice closet to tuck your luggage into and hang up clothes. The bathroom is large with plenty of vanity space and a roomy shower with multiple body sprays. Breakfast each morning is made fresh from locally-sourced items and rivals any gourmet breakfast to be found. I definitely recommend taking advantage of the spa at the inn. This building is also beautifully decorated and optimizes wellbeing and tranquility. We had a couples massage that was so relaxing that we actually fell asleep briefly. Trumansburg is a great central location between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. The town has a few dining options that were great. You’re a short drive to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Seneca Falls and everything in between, but you also get to enjoy a bit more of the countryside setting. The innkeepers, Melissa and Michelle, are very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions for sightseeing and activities. Oh, did I forget to mention the made-from-scratch treats that they set out for guests each evening, and also they keep a fridge stocked with water and soda. No need to figure out how you’re going to enjoy that bottle of wine you had to take with you after visiting one of the vineyards. The innkeepers have thought of everything and keep a stock of glasses, buckets, openers and ice for guests to use. If wine is not your thing, they’ve got you covered with martini glasses and mixers. Don’t give this one a second thought, book it and enjoy!!

Wonderful visit at this inn. The staff was immensely friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and coffee! Our mattress can use an update, but unique designed rooms were comfortable and roomy.Trumansberg doesn't have much to offer with restaurants except for a brew pub... the few they had were closed Sundays and Mondays. Easy 15-20 minute drive to Seneca lake wineries.

Cheryl and I had a wonderful time and our stay at your beautiful Inn was a big part. The park like surroundings and beautiful plantings added to this special place, and our timing could not have been better for spring blooms. We loved the Seneca suite with all the windows and light, and the big tree outside made it feel like we were in a tree house. The staff was very accessible, attentive and accommodating and the breakfasts were also great. We also met some very nice people at breakfast and had some nice conversations. Cheryl is already talking about a return trip. It will definitely be our go to place when we plan our next trip to the Finger Lakes.

My friend and I loved our spa appointments! Michelle was accommodating, informative, and kind during the booking process. My friend ended up doing a 75 min massage which she enjoyed! She said it was a relaxing experience, and she liked the attention to detail that went into the process. I did an Eden Energy Medicine session and loved it! I've never done anything like this before, and I'm so happy that I tried it because it was such a cool experience! I appreciated Donna's communication style as we went through the EEM session. I felt so much lighter after my EEM session. All in all, my friend and I highly recommend visiting the spa!!

We had a wonderful stay at Gothic Eves. It’s situated in the heart of Trumansburg, a picturesque town in upstate New York. The rooms were beautifully appointed and breakfast each day was 5 stars. We had a spa day and our massages were some of the best we’ve ever had. The staff were all so friendly and happy to help or just chat for ten minutes. We will definitely be back to spend some time by the fire pit and soak in the hot tub.Nearby activities: Watkins Glen State Park is amazing, but make sure you also visit Buttermilk Falls.Food & drinks: Breakfast was the best. Whether it was the Eggs Benedict, the Feta and Kale omelette, or the Ham and Cheese on French Toast breakfast sandwich, it was the perfect way to start our days of adventure.

My wife and I stayed here back in December 2021/January 2022, and I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review. We had just come off of several days of exploring New York City, so a restful, peaceful place was just what we needed to decompress.Firstly, the town and surrounding countryside Gothic Eves is located in is absolutely beautiful. Amazing wine country with quick access to so many beautiful waterfalls, nature trails, the Finger Lakes, and amazing wineries and cideries. Not to mention, the locals in Trumansburg were so friendly. We checked in a bit late, but still got all necessary instructions to check in to our room, the Pinot Suite. Everything was beautifully and immaculately decorated and made for our arrival, and all accommodations were top-notch.We made sure to head down for breakfast each morning of our stay, and Rose and Mary were fabulous hosts. Delicious, made-from-scratch meals from locally-sourced ingredients were served with such a welcoming spirit. They were a delight to chat with and always had recommendations on must-see places in the area.If you ever find yourself in the Finger Lakes area, this cozy inn should be at the top of your list for lodging options. Such a great experience that will live with me for a long time. I can only hope to make our way back to stay soon.

Perfect in every way. Our suite was clean, comfortable, up-to-date and plenty of room for my husband and myself. Breakfasts were delicious and filling. We even had an opportunity to sit out back and enjoy the garden for an intimate happy hour. It's also nicely located between Seneca and Cayuga Lake and only a few minutes from Ithaca. We enjoyed staying here as our home base as we explored the area, hiking trails, and boating. Easy ride to Watkins Glen and Corning, too. Mary, our host, was very accommodating and friendly - thank you!

In one word, Awesome! Immaculately clean inn. Attention to detail. Delicious breakfasts. Cooks to your dietary needs or restrictions! Wonderful grounds, landscaping, gardens, flowers—so pretty! Near Cayuga & Seneca Lake, several falls & state parks—perfect location. Michelle was so helpful in suggestions of what to see, where to go, where to eat, etc. Even use of a Frig, freezer & microwave. Look no further, just book your stay here. Michelle will help with everything. Lovely, updated with Victorian charm!

My husband and I had an AMAZING stay! We came for our ten year wedding anniversary, and staying here made it all the more special. Mary is amazing- her breakfasts (and desserts) are second to none! She is kind, accommodating, and was always checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Mary also gave us great dining recommendations. We had a couples massage and the spa was so relaxing! We stayed in the Pinot room which was so spacious with beautiful views and heated bathroom flooring. We have such a wonderful time and cannot wait to go back!!

Excellent communication at time of booking and proceeding to our arrival. Warm greeting by Rose and Michelle. All details of our room and amenities were explained. Our room (Pinot) was spacious, cozy, clean and the bedding was so comfy! Rainfall shower, jet tub and heated floor were much appreciated during this frigid winter stay! The breakfast was scrumptious both mornings. We participated in the couples massage and it was marvelous! No attention to detail was left out. We would definitely recommend The Inn at Gothic Eves and look forward to our next stay! Thank you!

A beautiful inn in the Village of Trumansburg, fantastic location for exploring the finger lakes area, less than 10 minutes from Taughannock Falls state park, under 30 minutes from Ithaca NY, 30 minutes from Watkins Glen, and surrounded by wineries and great food. It's almost impossible to find a place that was better located for the adventures and hikes my wife and I wanted to do. The inn itself was fantastic, the breakfast was delicious and satisfying every morning of our stay, the rooms were clean and comfy, the property itself is gorgeous. We 100% will be staying there again for our next trip to the finger lakes region

We had an amazing experience at Rose's Inn at Gothic Eves - this is THE place to stay. The inn has wonderful character, beautiful gardens, and hospitality that is unmatched. Our room (Merlot) was comfortable and clean with a modern bathroom. Past the accommodations, Rose made our stay absolutely lovely. She was personable, warm & welcoming and was helpful in offering suggestions for local to-do's. And the breakfasts Rose prepared were some of the best food we experienced on our entire trip - a highlight for us foodies for sure! (Her evening treats set out were equally delightful.) Another perk we found to really appreciate - the Inn is centrally located to many offerings around Ithaca and Watkins Glen.We found the Inn at Gothic Eves to be a treasure of a find and an excellent place to stay during our visit to the Finger Lakes. Lovely getaway, highly recommended!

Quirky Bed & Breakfast in a great location for us visiting the surrounding lakes area. The properly was listed as a ‘spa’ but this want obvious to us on check in and we were only advised the location of this when we asked about the Spa - we were then advised that it was in the property next door but was booked up so we wouldn’t be able to use the facilities. We thought strange to have a facility listed in your property details and not tell your guests about it and then tell them they couldn’t use it as it was already booked up?Rooms: Was ok but the bedroom itself was rather small and you entered the bedroom via the bathroom.Nearby activities: Great location for exploring this very pretty areaWalkability: We were able to walk a short way to a few places to get dinnerFood & drinks: Breakfast was excellent on both days. Great food and service. There are fridges in the reception area so you can help yourself to cold drinks provided.Noteworthy details: Don’t book this property if you are looking for a spa experience

We just recently had a 4 night stay at the Inn at Gothic Eves. We have stayed at a large number of bed and breakfast establishments over the years. We typically select them from Select Registry which has very high standards for customer service. The Inn at Gothic Eves certainly belongs in the Select Registry collection of premiere inns. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The home and property are right out of the pages of a magazine....just beautiful decorating, comfortable in every way, and the gardens are stunning!Rose, our hostess, and her staff made us feel right at home immediately, and we actually did feel like part of their family! The breakfast prepared each morning could be tailored to each guests' dietary preferences, and would rival any meal in a 5 star restaurant in New York City.We cannot recommend The Inn at Gothic Eves highly enough!Thank you Rose and staff!!John and Beth Bradley

My husband and I went to the Inn at Gothic Eves for our anniversary in June. From booking (by phone) to end of stay, our trip was fantastic and the service was excellent. Rose went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable- we had a hiccup with our stay while there and she resolved it with grace and ease. The breakfasts were delicious and Rose always had great recommendations for where we should visit/eat/etc. The rooms were very clean- LOVED our bed in the Bordeaux room. Would definitely come back to stay!

Had a wonderful stay here as a launching point to explore the finger lakes region and the many wineries in the area. We stayed in the Resling room and loved it. The room was amazingly nice to come back and relax in at the end of the day. The inn itself was incredibly charming and our hosts Rose and Anna did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. Breakfast was perfect every morning and the touch of using local ingredients and produce from the garden out back made for a truly unique experience. We loved our stay here and will absolutely be back the next time we're in the area

Staying here was one of the most relaxing experiences. We received a call prior to arrival asking for time of arrival and food preferences for breakfast which was a great personal touch. Upon arrival we received a tour of the home and snacks. The room itself was beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed in the room including a mini fridge, microwave, and drinks glasses. The bathroom had a wonderful jetted tub and soft towels. Lastly breakfast was healthy and delicious, my spouse is a picky eater but Mary was able to accommodate him using recipes from the inn's original owner. The only small note that we had was that there are limited food option around the bnb so consider having dinner prior to arrival. All in all a great stay!
