Great coffee delicious pastries and awesome service!!! This is one God coffee place. Atmosphere inside is good, nice and cozy. People are nice and friendly. Coffee fresh. Lattes are good! Good place to spend some time with family and friends. Prices are friendly.

I have lived in trumansburg for only 7 years and finally decided to try this place out. Other than this place being a little pricey, the coffee and food were okay. The reason for my 3 star review is actually due to another local patron. As I was standing in line with my 3 year old, a man with a service dog came in behind us. I have nothing against service animals and my 3 year old loves dogs, but this dog was very big (140 pounds at least golden retriever.) The dog continued to get in my daughter's face and nip at her hands and toy. I had to push the dog away several times. The owner kept saying the dog (Riley) gets excited around kids, which is fine. But this man was clearly unable to control his dog and the dog is not properly trained to be used as a service dog. He was then offended when the cashier asked if the dog was a service dog after 5 minutes of it harassing my 3 year old. Unfortunately, I don't feel comfortable going back to this location.

The vanilla iced latte was excellent, one of the best I’ve had. The homemade syrup made all the difference. The ham and cheese scone and cookie however left more to be desired

I've loved this coffee shop dearly since 2015, but I can't say that now. It's still a bright sweet space, bursting with happy houseplants and the coffee is good. And the baristas friendly and helpful.But the community-building hotspot that this gimme used to be is no more. Now there is a grand total of four chairs for sitting--gone are the days of the big comfortable tables, the porcelain diner mugs of steaming brew, communing with neighbors and making new friends. There's plenty of space in here, but it's taken up by empty floor and a big merch display.And if you're lucky enough to get one of those chairs, you still have to drink your coffee in a cardboard throw-away mug. I asked the barista why they aren't doing porcelain mugs like so many other coffee shops. "We have to take them back here to wash them, and people put their mouths on them, and we're just not doing that kind of contact right now."Somehow most of the other dine-in establishments around here are able to wash dishes without their staff getting ill from the process.At least you can bring in your own mug (10% discount!) but can you bring in your own chair too?

I always enjoy visiting Gimme Coffee because the staff is super nice. Seriously, not once have I ever had a barista be anything less than enthusiastic and kind. They also have a nice range of drink options, seasonal beverages, and baked goods. It's a great place to stop and get out of the cold during winter, and an equally nice place to sit and enjoy the creek in summer. I always enjoy the atmosphere.

Salted maple lattes are THE BEST! I get hot but you can try iced, the have GREAT coffee nice merchandise and really good ALMOND CROISSANTS!

Camping in the area and we found this adorable little spot. My husband ordered a med americano which was only 2/3 of the way full in a traditionally small cup and my large iced americano was literally 75% ice. Flavors were great as were the baked goods.Decided to come back the next day after getting up early to watch the sunrise on the lake. Arrived right at 7am and it was completely dark (everything, even the sign on the door says they open at 7am). A few mins after 7 the only staff working shows up (and who knows-girl may have lost her keys, needed gas, something), but no acknowledgment to the patrons sitting outside waiting. Coffee was okay at best.

Wonderful spot! My family and I spent the afternoon at the Taughannock State Park and this was easy to find and the staff was so friendly! They make a great dirty vanilla chai!

Nice small coffee shop. They have a few pastries and cookies for sale as well. Small-ish seating area inside, a few benches out front, and a seating area in the back. Street parking is pretty easy to find.

Excellent beans and the espresso is decent. (I don’t purchase brewed coffee here anymore.) Definitely a go-to place for meeting people (even though most interior seating is understandably gone these days).

This is an excellent coffee shop! We went every day during our 4 day stay, that says enough ;-) coffee was very good and freshly made. They use Oatly and that is by far the best "milk" for oat milk cappuccino (in my opinion). Great place also for plant-lovers!

Amazingly delicious coffee! Super smooth with chocolatey notes. The baristas are nice and answered any questions. Lovely outdoor seating area by a small river. You do have to go down stairs to get to the outdoor area.Parking: Street parking or parking across the street in laundromat lot.

This is the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Period. I prefer those that are less sweet and have more chocolate flavor, and this delivered. My wife had coffee and was equally impressed. Despite the long drive for us, we will definitely be adding this to our most visited list. The atmosphere is great and the staff and patrons are extremely nice. Well worth a try!

Staff friendly and accessible. Although the shop itself is very small, there are tables for two on the sides that provide some privacy. Don't sit near the door if you want to have a quiet experience as it's a quite busy place and you feel the flow of traffic right next to as you're drinking your coffee. The Latte was absolutely delicious and the baked goods very very good as well.

I tend to judge a coffee shop by trying their black coffee to get the full flavor and aroma of their basic brew, then if it's pleasant I'll try some of their other drinks. This coffee seemed like a mild roast with maybe some notes of cherry but overall pleasant. I will return and try their pour over or darker roast next time.
