Friendly and laughable staff with good tasting wine and reasonable price range, great scenery as well. It is a good place to take pictures. If you come during the fall or winter, I recommend bringing a thick jacket.

The view is beautiful, the owners are Wonderful and the wines they make are Fantastic!! I never had a rose that I liked until I came here to Frontenac Point Vineyard!! Seriously!!They have a couple to choose from. I like dry but not leaving a dry tongue taste, if that makes sense. The Stay Sail Rose is very, very good! My other favorite is the 2014 Chambourcin-red. And the prices oare great!! Not over-priced at all.!! Whatever you palate is, they have it. Make the trip, You'll love it!! I did and went back for more!

Frontenac Point was our first stop on the Cayuga wine trail, but we soon realized it would be our only stop. Nothing would top enjoying a wine flight on the deck with beautiful views of the lake and vineyard, speaking with the friendly and helpful staff as well as with members of the Doolittle family, and trying a surprising variety of truly delicious wine. We found so many we liked that we brought a mixed case home with us!

We visited this place on a whim for a tasting while driving by. It's one of the smaller wineries in the area. The tasting setup is a bit odd with you ordering them inside at the bar and carrying it all out to the deck. May be just a remnant of COVID.The host was nice and popped out to sit with us for a bit and explain some of the history of the vineyards in the area. It was interesting stuff. The deck sits maybe 20 people, which I like. The wines were a mixed bag. I cared for the Set Sail Rose, as it was pretty unique to me with a dry and sour kick. Pricing was fair and it's a quiet spot. Recommend a pop in late afternoon after the midday rush.

Probably the most friendliest people I’ve ever met! The wine is absolutely amazing and the views on their back deck are very relaxing and refreshing. Will be coming back here again.

This was a great little winery with incredible views the employee was very kind and accommodating. She knew a lot about the wines and was able to point us in the right direction with our preferences. The deck is a wonderful place to sit and relax and you're welcome to bring your own picnic.

For past 16 years I have worked with\for four wineries in three states and visited wineries in US, Canada and Europe. All this to say Frontenac is a jewel of wineries. Why? Staff is professional, knowledgeable, and not pretentious. They ensure you feel at home, tasting wonderful wine with a magnificant view. If you are near the Finger Lakes and enjoy wine Frontenac is a must visit!

Very welcoming. Beautiful spot , gorgeous plantings . Generous tasting , and really delicious wines, my favorite red that I tasted in the Finger Lakes was their 2017 Maréchal Foch. Jim was delightful and knowledgeable, he shared a taste of some Riesling grapes that we had watched be crushed. A must stop on the wine trail.

This beautiful winery is a must stop on your wine trail. We found it a very charming setting on Cayuga Lake. We enjoyed the wine tasting and talking with the staff, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. The outside tasting area is the perfect place to snap photos of the beautiful lake views.

Location and view is amazing, however you cannot do a tasting on the deck. You have to purchase a glass of wine or a flight to enjoy wine on the deck. Overall the wine was mediocre. We prefer the drier white and red wines that you find in California and Europe and the dry wines here are not on the same level.

This has been and continues to be one of my favorite Finger Lakes wineries. I love going here because the view is breathtaking, the staff is knowledgeable, you always get to talk to the owners and are consistently treated like family. The Marechal Foch is one of my favorite wines. A MUST visit on Cayuga Lake!

A small winery with outragous views of the lake and very personable and personalized tasting a larger winery can't give you. Really enjoy their reds. Bring some food and enjoy their deck and wine.

Delicious red wines. Small tasting room, was a bit musty smelling. Staff was extremely knowledgeable. They have a deck with a nice view. They don't sell bottles to drink on the property, which really isn't cost effective for the wine drinker.

There is a wonderful atmosphere at Frontenac! Everyone is very knowledgeable of their product and helped us find a wonderfully bodied wine. The views of the lake are beautiful and the area is very peaceful. Make this winery the first stop on your wine touring adventures!

I worked here many years ago and went back there when I was in Ithaca recently because I love the wines and personally know that the owners care about the wine they make from only the grapes they grow in their vineyard. And they do it all sustainably - from the ground, to the wines, to the packaging. Most of the wines are dry with a few semi-dry. Their Brut Methode Champenoise is made in the traditional way - individually in each bottle. The view from the winery deck of the vineyard and Cayuga Lake is panoramic and relaxing. You can bring your own food, buy a glass of wine or water, and picnic on their deck. Also available are charcuterie meats, local cheeses, pita crackers and gluten free crackers. The grounds and vineyard are open for you to wander in. This winery is dog friendly outside and on the deck. If you want a tour, ask - if an owner is available they will take you on an informal tour of the vineyard and/or winery depending on what you want to see. I highly recommend Frontenc Point!

Really love this winery! It's close to town and also an easy stop on the way to other wineries near by. The polite staff had great recommendations too. I never leave empty handed and the vineyard is beautiful!

I tasted their two red wines and port style wine which all contained some Chambourcin. We also tasted the Pinot Noir and Chambourcin Reserve, which are a dollar extra. I am not a big Chambourcin fan, but their versions were good. The IWW (Inexpensive White Wine) was the surprise winner for us; extremely good and was $8 a bottle. They have an excellent tasting room and a great deck with a view of the lake to enjoy a glass of wine after your tasting. Our wine server Jeff did a great job with the wines helping us contrast the Chambourcin versus their Chambourcin Reserve, and also chilled and room temperature versions of their Frontenac Red. We found out later that Frontenac is an actual grape, but not sure if that has any relation to the winery name. Something to figure out on our next visit.
