Bet the Farm Winery was a delightful experience to end our Finger Lakes visit. The wine tastings we did were all delicious, so much so that we grabbed 2 bottles to take home. The food pairings were similarly tasty. The employees who chatted with us throughout and provided great context for the winery and area were icing on the cake. I highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful place and fairly priced! We did a wine tasting with food pairing. Our server (didn’t catch her name, but a young woman with yellow/orange hair) was amazing! So friendly, described the wines and pairings well, and answered our questions. Would come back & recommend to others😊

Such a wonderful experience. Look simple but it is such a beautiful place. We had a great time tasting the wines and talking about other touristic options around the city. We really liked the white wines, so we even got a bottle for ourselves! I wish I could just go back to enjoy the chairs outside and the great view.

We were glad we stopped. Not right on the water and from the outside didn't seem to have the typical winery look (more of a working winery vibe). However once inside, it was pretty nice.We were greeted when we arrived and found out they were actually not open (stopped on a Tuesday). However, they let us come in anyways and enjoy samplings (thank you!).When you enter from the lot, please note that you actually go around to the rear (vineyard side, not road side). There is a door and once inside, there is a tasting bar and unique/different tables and seating. More limited but friendly staff (they are hiring more). The dry Riesling was really good. They had a couple bubbly wines that were exceptional (dry side).

Really neat spot with winemakers doing traditional work (e.g., Riesling) and exciting new adventures (e.g., Dornfelder wine sun the Rheinhessen-style) — worth a visit, in my case, by bike.

What a beautiful place to enjoy wine and relax! We had 5 people in our party and didn't have a reservation but were quickly accommodated. The cheeses paired nicely with the wine and it was nice that we could purchase them to pair later.

Nancy and Kit continue to impress with not only their fantastic wines, but also with their warm, down to earth hospitality and a beautiful vineyard setting. Located only a short drive from Ithaca, on the West side of gorgeous Cayuga Lake in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and book a tasting today! Cheers!

I loved this place. The couple running the winery were laid back, and did not speak down to those less knowledgeable about wine. We were given a couple of extra wines to taste, including their most expensive wine (the champagne), this was despite the difficult year that they had because of the late frost. I also bought some marvelous goat cheese. Oh yes, and the wines were well-worth it!

We did the wine and food pairing, it was excellent, the Chardonnay was our favorite. We had a glass outside and the view is amazing. Michael was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This was the worst wine tasting experience of the 19 wineries we went to around Finger Lakes and quite frankly the worst of nearly 100 wineries over the past 11 years. We agreed to 5 tastings for $12. After the first two pours, which were about a tablespoon worth each, my wife and I knew that their wines needed to hire an experienced wine-maker. We decided to pay the $12 and leave even without tasting the other 3 we were due. And while we paid the cashier, Nancy (the wine-maker) comes up to me from across the room and says something like, are you saying there's something wrong with my wines. This was clearly an attempt to humiliate us because we were walking out. Her comment even made the cashier cringe. There was a little more conversation, but to keep this review short, their wines have a long way to go to get even up to a $10 price point. And Nancy needs to get trained in customer service.

Quick stop through and found this neat little tasting room. Everything else is off site but the wine was great and the woman working was wonderful. Definitely great spot for a quick tasting and some other local fare!

Nancy and Kit are very hospitable owners and truly care about their customers. The tasting room is new and very clean. They pay attention to the small details. Indoor and outdoor space is available.Outdoor games available for use by customers. Pretty views! Can't rave enough about the quality of their wines. We visited several other vineyards/ wineries over the weekend and Bet the farm was at the top of our list. Take the time to stop by for a wine tasting, you will be glad that you did. Thanks again for welcoming us to your lovely vineyard.

My husband and I (and our 3 year old, Hannah Banana) had a lovely visit to Bet the Farm Winery in July. The founder was actually the one that did the tasting with us and the whole experience was really special. She really took her time going over the wines and our kiddo enjoyed the juice. Great selection of drier wines, both white and red, such a fan of the Cayuga White! The views were breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back and visit! Thanks again for the great tasting!

We did the food and wine tasting for $15. Even though the food portions were dainty, there was a separate cheese or meat for each of the four wines and they were all delicious and paired together beautifully! The owner explained the unique characteristics of each wine to us in a way that was easy to understand, but really interesting. I learned a lot about their wine and vineyard. Only indoor seating for the tastings.

We stopped after hiking at Taughannock Falls. Nancy was very knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. She talked us through each of the wines and was open to any feedback we had.

Very tasty wines! We like smaller wineries where we can taste but also learn. Our pourer was the owner and she was gracious to share some wine knowledge with us! 🍷

Their wine is not good. They price it higher than store bought but it doesn’t taste any better. They are not professional and it shows in their lack of knowledge. They also had a terrible attitude and was treating me poorly. Don’t go there. There are plenty of better places around here.

Not a bad place, but not my first choice. The wine was nice and the service was friendly and informative. Its on the smaller side, with only a few tables inside, I can't imagine it would comfortably fit more than 30 people. It doesn't really have a winery vibe, it feels much more like a brewery. Its a sheet metal building with a small number of windows or décor and stainless steel tables. You cannot see out the window from inside unless you stand at the bar. I'm giving it 5 stars because there's nothing "wrong" with it and I don't want to lower the rating on a small business. It just doesn't really feel as nice as many of the other wineries in the area. I think if they added a large deck with outdoor seating then that would be a nicer atmosphere. You will reuse the same glass during flights.

Enjoyed a fabulous tasting with one of the owners. You can taste the effort and love of the craft here. They "bet the farm" and won big. Will be revisiting.

This was a beautiful stop on a girls trip this past weekend. We were lucky enough to get to the winery before it became crowded, so we had a tasting at the bar and chatted with the sommelier. She taught us about the wines which were so delicious, I had to pick up 3 bottles to bring home!

Wow! What a nice experience we had at this winery today. We had a delicious cheese and wine tasting flight. The wines were delicious. We had a dry sparkling white, a light on the oak Chardonnay, Riesling and Cabernet Franc which was delicious and light. They featured New York cheeses and chocolates (they had me with the cheese and chocolate)! They were also a wealth of information about the area, kind and friendly. We brought our kids and they had some games for them and were so accommodating. The wines were so delicious, don’t miss this little gem!

This was my first time trying this winery. I was with a group of 8 in total, we visit finger lakes wineries often. While the wine was good. The owners( I assume) were not. Someone in our party called about 10 minuets before arriving to make sure they were open, and of course they said yes. But nothing about having to make a reservation. When we arrived, we opened the door and the woman sitting at one of the tasting tables did not greet us- instead she said "HOW many of you ARE there?" I said we have 8. She and the man she was sitting with blankly stared at us. It was awkward, after an awkward silence, I said should we have called to let you know we were coming? She said yes its very simple online to make a reservation. Then said proceded to pick up her and the man's lunch and seat us at the table. Without cleaning it. And said something about us getting there in time because they had finished lunch. Then the girl who poured our wine did not explain the wines at all and made us feel as though we were an inconvenience for wanting to try different wines. I believe she said "it's easier if you all try the same thing". we did try.the wines And they were decent. But no one bought anything and we were all extremely offended at how we were made to feel. Will not be returning.

Delicious wines and the owners are beyond friendly and truly knowledgeable! You honestly walk out feeling like you just made new friends in addition to finding some new favorite wines. They have a good selection and a mini store inside the tasting room with local foods and items! Bet the Farm was the highlight of our tasting day!Outside there is some seating as well and the winery has a gorgeous view!

Nancy and Kit are so incredibly welcoming, treat you as though you're a good friend and remember all about you personally, and are so very accommodating and kind. Of course, their wine is SUPERIOR and always a treat! The view from their vineyard is spectacular, from one of their comfortable red Adirondack chairs or walking the property. I *HIGHLY" recommend seeing them at "Big Blue!" (their Tasting Room/Winery) You'll be SO happy you did :)
