Great store, helpful staff and great prices, what more can you ask for?It is fun browsing in person and the store has a great deal to offer. You may want to spend there as there is always something you may wanna pick up. I did fall for some of the NASCAR and MATCHBOX die cast cars, and indeed, there are other sections which will attract you.I only wish they had a bit more variety in the binocular section as well as camera accessories.

Well the staff is rude and act like they don't want to work or deal with customers. One almost ran my wife and I over with a stocking cart. And then mumbled something under her breath. Never said excuse me. And the dirtiest look. And then when it came to checking out. Two cashier's with lines at least 30 feet long or more. Even the self check outs had a line 20 feet or more. Horrible experience. Bring back Kmart, best store there ever was..

Employees were nice but not very knowledgeable in the electronics department. We went in looking for help with our TV that is attached to an antenna. No cable hook-up. They sold us a lot of crap that didn't work. So thank goodness we returned it all and decided to go somewhere else for help. Don't get me wrong. I would definitely shop there again, just NEVER in the electronics department. Everyone else we dealt with was amazing. Especially customer service.

Great experience, was able to get in and get out without a problem. The staff are friendly and helpful, they pointed out where everything is and we're also great when it came to helping us check out. When it comes to groceries they have so many options to choose from, way more than most places. This Walmart is definitely better than my local Walmart. I hope to go there again in the future. I also appreciate all the Halloween supplies, decorations, and candy they were selling. I'm also happy that I didn't see any Christmas supplies out, and I hope that continues till at least after Halloween.

I’d give this Walmart 0 stars if I could everyone who works here is extremely rude and disrespectful I was searching for a tool and finally found them after 10min of searching then all the boxes were busted open or opened by someone else so I was looking inside of them to make sure Everything was in there then an associate YELLS at me from the end of the Aisle “EXCUSE ME WHY ARE YOU OPENING ALL THE BOXES WHY?” “ I then said “I’m making sure everything is inside” then she replies “ ITS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BOX STOP OPENING THEM!” I said “ I’m not opening/stealing all these where open I’m just checking” mind you I looked at 2 boxes not all of them! She refused to help stood at the end of the aisle just glared and yelled at me! I’m done with this Walmart if I didn’t need this tool so bad I would have just walked out!

Horrible, we always stop and show our receipt. Today the woman accused us of havin more than the 11 items that our receipt said we had. I lift the 2 bags in the cart so she can see the cat litter cat food water soda and the few items in the bag in total 10 items in the cart because the chapstick (11th item) was in my pocket. She pretends to count 11 items as others walk past us not showing receipts but rubbernecking the situation. She thought she saw us stealin a full cart of items in reality she saw 10 items that were simply bulk items. Embarassing us in the process. You already got ure super theft deterring facial software on the self checkouts. Do better walmart. Deff felt judged and shouldve made a large stink but we just left.

Because of the community this Walmart is located in, almost every amenitie is locked behind a glass box. You have to call for customer service to even be able to buy deodorant.

If you remember the old school Walmart from the 80s, this is the store. Brings back memories. Nothing like the big giant super centers. Quaint and cozy believe it or not. Love shopping there. Friendly staff and usually have everything in stock, usually.

I been going to this Walmart for over 12+yrs and I must say I have never seen it loo as good as it did the last time I went.i don't know what they been doing but it looks so much more organized n I was shocked to see the registers up n running by employees and not jus the self checkouts.some people prefer the regular registers because they might need assistance with something and don't know how to use the self checkout.the employees even look happy and better.my favorite Walmart by far besides the 2 story 1 in Albany.

Traffic on Hoosick St. is a nightmare, and I dont see how they'll ever resolve that. They've built up that area with absolutely no consideration on how to keep traffic flowing smoothly. As far as the store goes, the aisles were blocked, and merchandise was littered all over, with nothing where it belonged. Took twice as long trying to find stuff. Plus 🎄🎅🎁🤶⛄️🧑‍🎄 merchandise was being put out!!! Do yourself a favor, and go to one of the many other Walmarts in the area. You won't be sorry.UPDATE:I went back to this Walmart as it's very close to where I live, and I needed to get something. The remodeling they were doing is over, and it was easier to access the items I needed, so my shopping experience was much better than last time. Hoosick Street is still a nightmare, though. That will never change, so you need to avoid this Walmart at certain times of the day. Accessibility to motorized handicapped carts is pretty good, although you may need to have someone find one for you.

It's not a bad Walmart, but its selection (especially in toys/action figures). They tend to have the same stuff each time u visit, and they'll have damaged stuff still on the shelf at full price, smh. Its not a bad store, but there's better options in the area for pretty much anything you're looking for.

Have gotten expensive, shelves never stocked, and most employees managing self serve register are chatting with other employees in a language I've never heard and ignore requests for help until they are finished. Furthermore, they are annoyed by requests for help. Sorry to hear about Shop Rite leaving the Capitol District....their employees are so helpful and professional!

Was checking out express check outhad alcohol purchase ,I stood there about 3 minutes didn't acknowledge me kept cleaning cash registers, I asked her to help me. She said she knew and snapped at me.. All she had to say I will be right there .Instead ignored me November 9 ,2023 about11:45am , very rude employee. Not the first time in this BRUNSWICK WALMAT NY,Probably will not be the last. I will probably have my grocery delivered and stop going to the BRUNSWICK WALMART NY

Changing my 5 star review to 4 - maybe should change to 3 - because although the store is clean and convenient and has almost all my needs, they've changed. There are so many items that I used to buy there but now can't because they're locked up. You have to find someone to unlock the case to get things such as razors or lighters and most of the time that someone isn't working at the same time you're shopping. That was bad enough but now I am being ID'd for beer at age 67! The people checking my ID are young enough to be my grandchildren. Why? I am clearly not under 21. I find this insulting and from now on I'll be shopping elsewhere. The Walmart in Rensselaer has nothing locked up and uses common sense when asking for ID's to purchase adult beverages. They have a better lawn and garden department too. Went to same store today, Oct 21 2023 for a vacuum cleaner. The one I wanted wasn't on the shelf, but the display was there. I asked an associate to check to see if there were any in stock, she does, and says "There are 3" so I asked if she could get one for me - she said "No" , and I asked why and she said she's not allowed in the stock room. So I asked another associate working in the same area who said "No, I'm not allowed in the stock room" . I left, went to Target and bought same vacuum cleaner for $10 less. Changing my 4 star review to 2 !

******Update ******Hey Walmart , When the change to close the store occurred, the public was told the reason is they need the overnight shift to clean and disinfect and stock the shelves. So why do i have difficulty shopping, due to pallets, boxes, several employee's in a obstacle course that has restricted movement. So why not open 24 hours for overnight workers. 2nd thing is, if you have merchandise locked away from the public in cases, then for the good of mankind, keep the keys in store until it closes at 11pm, instead, I stood around waiting for a ghost. Only to be told the person with the keys to personal hygiene products case is gone at 10pm . That does not compute. It's ridiculous. Ill break it down for You. Hours are 6am untill 11pm.So keep the aisles and walking areas free of dozens of employees and pallets interfering with safe shopping experience. And keep the keys in the store until it's closed. Smh****************************Somewhere between the middle of the 'pandemic' and now, the place is less than ideal. Seem to be 1 of only a few box stores open at the height of panic, and raked in billions. Now they are just another option. The prices are meh, and any produce has to be consumed quickly. Local grocery markets have way better produce albeit a tad bit more in cost. Frankly, I'll take the few days over the extra pocket change at Walmart.Also I don't keep the same hours as the majority of workers due to night work. 3am suits me, so being open 24hrs would be ideal. (Just a U.S. govt over reach, And a way to restrict citizens). I still shop there at times. It is necessary at times. But 11pm is wayyyy to early to shut doors.

I go there at least twice a week I've been fortunate enough to be able to get my things there. I have to say that when Wal-Mart first started selling food I said that I would NEVER buy food from them because it was I knew usual for a department store to have food at that time. Now I have to say it was the best thing that ever happened. The people that work in the mornings have gotten to know me and I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing but it's a great thing that I get to get everything in one story and the quality of the stuff they have is just like any other grocery story.

Anyone else have issues with the ladies in and around customer service? There were two Tiffany's with colorful weaves. Danielle and Cece. I had an overall offputting encounter with each lady listed! Cece was the most disrespectful. I'd like to make a formal complaint.

I have been using the the pick up service almost exclusively. The majority of my orders have been filled correctly. The staff is friendly which is a big plus. I like how much time it saves me.When I have an issue with an item, I go on line and follow the requesting a refund link. The issues so far have all been rectified to my satisfaction.
