Hannaford is just like most grocery stores I've been a long time customer I do happen to prefer Price Chopper better or Market 32 but Hannaford happens to be very close to my house less than a mile away which makes it a convenient store to go to for me and most other people closest grocery store within the Waterford area

I've been shopping at this Hannaford mostly all my life even back when it was called 'Shop & Save' and I'm glad that there's still some neighborhood supermarkets around and I don't have to drive across town or three town's over to go shopping at some bougie supermarket (Market 32 or a Market bistro) for overpriced items.

Better selection then other stores. So many different sections for particular diets ( gluten free, diabetic) Produce is fresh, bags accessible. Workers are courteous and helpful. Checking out was fast and easy. Parking excellent! I love Hannaford. A little pricey on some items - but guaranteed fresh!

I went at night and it seemed like a pretty nice size store with a good selection of food and items. It was really clean and organized and I was able to find what I needed. There is plenty of parking at this location and it wasn’t busy. I was able to get in and out pretty quick too.

I hate the idea of lowering a score for a local staple. But this store, in particular through no fault of staff, feels like the express version of a grocery store. Like they never really have multiple brands or choices of products. Where as so many other Hannafords you can comparative shop with options. You can certainly find the staples, and there's even a pharmacy, deli, bakery, seafood, and CITIZENS BANK inside.Though I am usually a later shopper due to my schedule. Also because if you show up between 8am and like 5pm Monday through Sat. You'll be waiting for a bit in line. Plus, I miss when grocery stores and Walmart used to be 24 hours. But again, it's not exactly something to fault Hannaford on.

The parking is always a hassle in the main lot, whether it's people walking out of the store not even looking or the same for drivers pulling in and out. Few employees actually know what they are doing otherwise they walk into you or disregard your presence.

Some young brat this morning with blonde hair and pimples wouldn't even help put my groceries in my cart this morning... asked for help and he turned around to ignore me ...I proceeded to yell at him and he grunts uhhh what...I said nevermind...I can say a lot of things about how lazy my son is but let's teach our boys at least about chivalry and being a man....

I had the worst experience here. I suffer from severe anxiety and panic attacks. My Dr recommended a service dog. So hence I brought my PUPPY in training who had her vest on with me and barks to alert me and calm me down when I start getting anxious. Well she bark twice and we were approach by a larger women who said she was the Manager. She approached me and my husband and told me that my dog was disrupting customers . She also said a social emotional dog was not a dog covered under regulations to be in store. I explained to her that my dog was letting me know to calm down because I was about to have a panic attack. The manager continued to attack me verbally. I told her my dog's papers were in the car which I do not have to provide them to her but she insisted that if my dog barked again I would be told to leave the store. I shopped here very frequently because I have a very large family and spend a tremendous amount of money there a week and because of her I had a panic attack that day in the store and had to leave all my groceries behind. I have not been back in that store in the last 3 months since.

People are always parked in the fire lane and the crosswalk at this location, no concern for older people or handicapped, or other shoppers. Most times they are just "standing" but this this time there were 2 vehicles blatently parked, not only in the fire lane, but one in the fire lane and the crosswalk as well. They should have the Troy police parole the lot and ticket. I'm sure if this is a regular case, there are probably non-handicapped vehicles parked in handicapped spots as well...just laziness and ignorance... otherwise, Hannaford, itself, is my grocery store of choice. Mgmt needs to do something to keep the fire lane clear in case of emergency, so first responder vehicles can access quickly.

I wanted to stop in at This brand new Hannford to shop and check out their grand opening sales, almost immediately upon entering my teenage daughter, and I were observed closely , followed around… without being asked if we needed help it felt uncomfortable but I did not speak to my daughter about it for fear of making her upset or uncomfortable, finally at self check out my bag was left in the cart while I opened my reusable grocery bags, when an older gentleman came by and actually looked into my pocket book, and proceeded to ask if I had any coupons. Long story short as we put the groceries in to vehicle I asked my daughter did she notice anything, she immediately replied “ I don’t think we should shop here anymore” at this point I kept my composure and went back in to speak to a manager named Alex… he excused his staff n said this was not acceptable but offered no resolution. So my decision is not to shop at any Hannaford chain stores, and letting everyone I know of my experience regardless of race.

Poor customer service skills, especially at the front end. I usually go to self check out for my small trips and every time that I have needed something cancelled out over the past few months, the staff have not been friendly. Two of the staff members assisting me did not make eye contact or say a word even when I said thank you. I have also observed lack of staff interaction and friendliness with other customers...they outwardly appear annoyed and miserable to be bothered with customers.When I go through the check out lines, most staff are friendly.

Always my stop for groceries on the way home from work. This is a great place to pick up staple pantry items and even a few little extras. The produce is good quality and keeps well, the bakery is ok, and the meat prices are usually reasonable. Definitely stop in for regular grocery needs.

They have lots of dairy free stuff which I love because my son has a dairy protein intolerance so there are many choices for him of everything to pick from. My issues here are the prices are much higher than Walmart, the meats not usually on par, only sometimes is there a stocking issue and the lines are RIDICULOUS every single time I go there. It's unreal... They need to take a bagger or two and open up more registers when the lines go halfway back the aisle's and not just one aisle but like 3 and that includes the self check out. Need to fix that issue sooner than later because its very frustrating and making me not want to go back.

It's a smaller store, but they have everything you need and fresh produce. It's also kept pretty clean, and their is a security officer constantly patrolling.

I am still waiting for a refund for a order I placed 4 days ago for salads that expired within 24 hours of me purchasing. I placed this online for pickup on a Monday and the salads had a expiration date for Tuesday. I been given the run around since Tuesday when I called and notified them of there expired salads and I wanted a refund. Today is Friday and I'm still waiting.....

Probably the worst Hannaford in the region. The shelves are mostly bare of the essential products at times. Other stores in the region don’t have a problem. It’s close to me but I hate going here.

Store is clean and generally well stocked and staff is pleasant enough. Overall okay, nothing special. Produce on display is somewhat frequently out of stock or mislabeled. And though I should have checked, I bought a wheel of cheese there that should have kept for a month, however was bad two days later. I feel like they should have rotated their inventory better than that. Not terrible, not great.

Well I have to say it hasn't been a good experience since the Price Chopper has closed that was a block away instead of the store opening more registers and treating the patrons I have been loyal for past 25 years we have to wait a long long long lines inconveniently unfortunately! Need to have more registers open although there are plenty of employees usually on hand they do little to keep the Lines Moving especially when the Cash Out Lines are into shopping aisles! Need more employees between 2 and 6 p.m. at least ones that can open registers
