As new pet owners, Collar City Vet was recommended to us by the folks who rescued and gave us our pet. They are very caring and patient, and she doesn’t mind going for her checkups which says a lot! They are reasonably priced and worth it!

This is my normal Vet that I bring my animals. They are very caring and give you options of treatment, if there is a choice. They are so sweet and caring with my animals.UpdateI've recently moved but still use Collar City Animal Hospital even though it's a 30 min trip one way as my pets have issues and they have seen them their whole lives so the Vet knows their history.

Love the people there. They took care of Oreo like it's one of there own. Thank you so much for caring and giving us support. My baby girl got hit by a car. And I was a reck. But they were so supportive. I just love going to them. Thanks again for everything you done. Pattie Kelly

This vet save my cat. She got a fishing hook in her mouth and the side of her mouth. I been going here for 2 years now. They are very nice and did a wonderful job on our cat and saved us some money from the emergencyVet. I recommend this place to everybody.

Dr. Linendoll and the entire staff are fantastic! We would never entrust our fur family to any other vet, they are truly sensitive to every situation and share the same love and compassion for animals as we do! Our dog hates the vet and she tries to spend the time to make him comfortable, which many wouldn't bother doing.

I've been bringing my cat here for the last 10 years. The staff is so nice, and I know my pet is in great hands and receiving great care.

I've had varied experiences here. From feeling as though the techs we're a bit condescending and judgmental, to being appreciative of them, back to feeling as if they have no regard for the owner at all. I brought a pet there a 6-week-old puppy from a letter I was raising, to be put to sleep because I did not see any solution that I was going to be able to afford and she was rapidly declining . I asked why there had to be two texts in there because it seemed as though they were just being cheerful and coddling the poor puppy who was not there for any treatment. Maybe to relax the puppy, but she was already relaxed, they gave her cat food, and sweet. Talk to her as if she was perfectly fine. She was already having a hard time, She was on her way out that's why I brought her there to die. When I talk to the vet I asked her if anything else could be done besides putting her to sleep and she reassured me that I was doing the right thing but also told me that if I had done the diagnostic testing on her heart it may have been able to find out what was wrong with her heart that they could treat it and then it would have in turn affect her liver in a positive way. Her liver was swollen and I was not informed of this until I went to the emergency vet after first visiting with the primary vet. I was not given any inclination that there was anything that I could do. I even asked. Should I go back to the emergency vet and get the diagnostic testing done? And veterinarian told me it may not even work and it would be expensive, and again reassured me that I was doing the right thing. As soon as the procedure was over as soon as she was dead I immediately regretted it. I immediately said I wish I didn't do that. It's been 6 days and I have felt that way ever since. The point with the techs was that when I asked that question and told them it's not like it's a spectator event. She got very defensive coming at me in a very stern and hostile way back explaining that she's the tech and that's her assistant, she's assisting me. This is how we always do it and I do this all the time and there's nothing funny about it .head tilts in all. I just did not think it was right for her to put me in my place at a time like this or for the vet to not realize how much the puppy meant to me and want to try to save her. She did tell me to go to the ER after the 1st appointment which I did the following day after increasing my care credit so that I could afford to. But the other problem was with the emergency vet because she mentioned some surgery on her liver that would cost $10,000 which primary vet said that she may have not needed if we treated the heart. Emergency vet did not explain that to me. I was just under the impression that if I needed a $10,000 surgery for her liver, what would be the sense of doing diagnostic testing on her heart if I am unable to treat the liver? So all in all I was uninformed, and I made a horrible decision that nobody objected to. I feel like the puppies best interest was not at heart, but maybe say time's sake, since I made an appointment to have her put to sleep. Vet seemed to just want to go through with it no matter what. Now knowing all the information it would have been worthwhile to pursue doing the diagnostic testing and seeing what's really going on with her heart seeing if it's something I can treat financially speaking. Her name was Josie.Another experience that I had was a lot better. My dog Jericho as a puppy's swallowed a rock and they made me an appointment for later that afternoon. She saw the rock in there and said he needs emergency surgery and that she could do it there to save me costs. She did it and took the rest of her appointments off to accommodate it. She let me take him home overnight for his postcare, and bring him back the next morning so that they could keep him for monitoring, instead of having him go to the ER and stay overnight, to save costs. I appreciated that.

I’ve been going here for quite a bit now as I had a horrible experience at another vet. Kim and the staff are professional, friendly and super helpful with each and every visit. Each visit my dogs are spoil with treats and lovings during the entire visit. They do everything they possible can to make sure your pets are happy and healthy.

I had such a pleasant experience here. I brought my cat here after he caught a sudden cold and this is close to my house, I decided to try it out. Wow! For one, when i walked in, it was so beautiful and cozy and clean inside. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere! The staff were VERY sweet and friendly. My cat was seen and was just so amazing they were gentle and piggy certainly didn't mind it there, even though he was feeling down they took very good care of him and doctor Robin, I believe was the doctor, was very, very nice, professional, and very informative. We had as nice pleasant conversation and she made you feel comfortable the nurse assistant was very loving to my cat aswell. They gave him the care he needed and I can already tell he is feeling much better! So 5 stars from me! Thanks for being awesome collar city!

We called when our dog was losing her ability to hold her urine. New patients, we were seen the next business day after we called for our first appointment when other vets were booking out 3 weeks. We really couldn’t wait and they sensed the urgency. They came highly recommended by a friend and we are so glad we switched! The veterinarian was very thorough and the assistant were gentle and kind with an authentic enthusiasm. Cost is very reasonable and no one tried to sell us anything we didn’t need or want. Decisions were left up to us and we were not made to feel like we were neglecting our pet by declining a shot. We are happy to call Collar City Animal Hospital our vet!!!

Called spoke to Chris about having a dog who is suffering put down to stop her pain. Chris stated that because they have not dealt with the dog previously they were not taking on new clients. How is that for compassion. Thank you Chris and Collar City for nothing while the puppy continues to suffer.

I’ve brought my cats to Dr. Linendoll for several years. The prices are very fair, the care from staff is exceptional. I have had some challenging pet situations and completely trust the Dr. and her technicians with my cats. The technicians know their jobs well and do it with such compassion. I’d give this business 10 stars because of its staff!

I've been going here with my dog for about 6 months. My dog has had a couple critical injuries, and Collar City has been great dealing with us. They fit us into their schedules as soon as they can, they are great with my dog (who is a rescue that doesn't like strangers), they don't rush me out and they call back to check in on my dog throughout recovery. I never write reviews, but they go above and beyond.

Do NOT take your pet to this vet clinic, I called the other day because the cat I recently rescued was bleeding out and I called for assistance and advice and the receptionist cut me off, said she couldn’t help and then when I proceeded to ask if she had any recommendations or advice on where I could take the cat, she once again cut me off and said there was nothing she could do. I brought the cat to Boght Veterinary Clinic and they took her in the same day, she has 1-2 days left before she bled out completely and Boght saved this cats life.I understand we are all facing a global crisis and running a business is not easy, ever, let alone in these trying times, but the lack of remorse or empathy that I experienced from a professional, certified vet clinic who’s sole job is to PROTECT AND HELP ANIMALS, I will never recommend this clinic to anyone, even if it meant life or death. Be more emphatic, we are all in this together and all I wanted to do was save an animals life and this establishment was so callous and cold towards me, if you care about your pet at all, do not bring them here.

I have been taking my puppy Luka here since I got him last year and they have been so great, so informative with any questions I have which I really appreciate. He had a heartworm test apt today and they were so fast and I can see they really love animals as much as me which I love to see. He seems to like all the ladies that come out to the car to get him. I'm really happy I chose this place for my boy, he deserves the best. The vet and techs really are awesome, very sweet and patient with me when I don't understand things and really informs me all the way. I still have to learn everyone's names but it's hard with covid because we can't go in, we wait in the car so I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and getting to know them by name and face and there position. Without a mask on. It's really a great place.

Great vet. Super quick, always explains everything well. The front desk staff are also great and very friendly! The building itself is old but newly renovated so it's really cool architecture - doesn't have a clinical feel to it.

Recently I brought my large dog Maddie in for an annual check up, vaccinations and to have a few lumps looked at. Maddie gets really bad anxiety when at the vet and can become irritated and snippy. Dr. Solomon and the entire staff were extremely friendly and understanding and took the time to make Maddie as comfortable as possible during the visit. They even recommended and supplied some medication to help ease her anxiety for next visit. Dr.Solomon contacted me the next day as promised with the good news about Maddies lumps! I would recommend collar city to anyone with pets as they are professional and friendly every visit .Thank you again to the whole staff for the wonderful service .

My foster kittens from Whiskers go to Collar City for their spay/neuters and shots. The staff are awesome and attentive. After one set of the kittens came home from their spay/neuter, they didn't respond well. They were lethargic, weren't interested in food, and had diarrhea. It was at the end of the next day that I became concerned. I called the vet and she said to come as soon as possible and that they'd stay open so the kittens could be examined. They gave them some fluids, antibiotics, anti-nausea medications and some probiotics for us to give them with their food. The kittens bounced back over the next couple of days. We're very appreciative of their attentiveness and willingness to communicate with us, even though we never got to do it face-to-face.

I am very impressed with the care at this animal hospital. My cat has been struggling and needed emergency medical care and Dr. Solomon followed up with the ER and called me right away with the results. She has helped me get the liquid med switched to a pill form from the compounding pharmacy for my cat so he actually gets the medication. She cares a lot and called me 3x within a few hours because she knew I was very worried. I definately recommend taking your pets to this animal hospital.

Collar City Animal Hospital was recommended to me by the shelter I adopted my cat from after having a terrible experience at another vet. I wish I went here first. Everyone on staff is patient, caring, calm, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Linendoll takes her time answering all my questions and never makes me feel like I'm crazy. She took the mess that the other vet created and formed an exceptional plan for keeping my cat with megacolon and a heart murmur healthy. In addition to this, when I took my foster failed kitten in for his first appointment I expressed my concerns about stinky breath and poop. Dr. Linendoll did a special test and got right to the bottom of the problem and prescribed the appropriate medicine. I'm so grateful for their expertise and trust them 100% to do right for my cats. Thank you Collar City!!! =.)
