I received a few items, that were from Dollar General, as gifts. I didn't have a receipt and brought items into a store that is close to my home. I attempted to return the 2 items and was told I can't without a receipt. I asked about a store credit and was told the items I had weren't sold at that location and I'd have to find another DG that sold the items and return them there. There was a sign at the register with the return policy that stated without a receipt, I would receive store credit. I inquired about it and the cashier called a manager from the office. To which he proceeded to tell me he would not return the items either. I read the return policy sign out loud and the cashier ripped the sign down as I was reading it. I asked for the name and number for their district manager and their names and he refused to give out the info. I could see I was getting nowhere and there was a line forming in the store. I took my items and left the store. I called the number of customer service that was posted on the front door and made a complaint. I will not shop at that location again. Poor customer service from 2 employees. They clearly don't follow the policies of the company they work for or respect the customers.

COUNT YOU CHANGE, DONT EVER HAD $$ TO CASHIER AND THE. GO TO YOUR CAR TO GRAB CHANGE.IT WILL BE POCKETED, I had to INVOLVE POLICE bc of a lack of integrity, cashiers either lack of attention( on cell phone all the time ) lack of customer service and an outright lack of institutional control...I shopped everyday there, spend thousands of dollars and this is how I'm treated... Think I'm ever gonna come back ???

I always go here, friendly staff and I always get everything I need at a good price. Perfect to run to when I need to just grab a few things and don't want to go to a big grocery store. I always leave with more then I went in to get. They have grocery items as well as medical supplies, vitamins/medicine, home improvement, kids stuff, school stuff, pet supplies, cleaning products and pretty much anything you need!

Hi love this store. The people are friendly. Was there around 9/27/20. But I was very disappointed because the cashier that day DID NOT WEAR A Mask. When it's clearly marked on door to wear mask to enter. He had it a a bit then it came off. Overheard him saying to a costumer that he feels it's up to the individual to choose to wear or not. My resistance is low because of medical problems. I think he should be told about it that's for sure. Very disappointed that day!

Not one of the bigger Dollar General's but it still seems to have everything you might need. The store is very clean, and easy to navigate. Great place to stop a buy everyday items, like cleaning supplies, snacks, small gift ideas, paper products, etc. Employees were helpful and pleasant.

One of the best dollar Generals ive ever been to. The store is super clean. I can easily find the products im looking for. And the staff is amazing. Jay is one of my favorite employees. This store rocks yall!!

When I asked cashier if you carried wiper blades he said no , but it was the way he represented himself , so went to cash out trying to have friendly small talk he didn't say anything he went to give my cash back after cashing me out doesn't hand me my change he drops it into my hand , I have arthritis & almost dropped all of it. No manners at all & rude , so sorry I disturbed his standing thier doing nothing & gets paid for it .

Realitivly new store. But it's the same as all the other ones that are decades old. Too much stuff crammed inside, with only 1 or 2 people working there at a time. At least it's not super dirty like some of the other ones that don't care about what their store looks like.

Got great deals at dollar general, alot of there clothing for adults and kids are 90% off I got so work clothes for $1.00 to $3.00 a piece

Wasted 20 minutes to pick up a few items to find out their credit machine was down. Should have a sign up on the door. Only one person was working the whole store. If I was a their they would be been in trouble. Poor guy.

If you're traveling Shawnee Rd (SR 425) in Nia. Co., NY Absolutely stop at this Dollar General! This is "hands down", the cleanest most orderly DG I've been in... period, from WNY to Daytona!! It feels like a mini Department Store. The Prompt Courteous Service was "icing on the cake".TIPS:+ The perfect affordable "pit stop" on the way to the lake, party or event. Most everything you'll need is right up front; Pop, Chips, Coolers and "Smokes"...+ Located on the East side of the road, it's a Really slick "in & out" heading Northbound.

It's my go to for cleaners, laundry and dish soap, tooth paste and the like. With digital coupons, you can't beat it with name brand products.

We needed to pick up a box of cereal to bring into school, they had what we needed - however the store felt congested with extra product being displayed on already narrow isles.
