We have been taking our Border Collie mix here for vet services and boarding since we adopted her around 9 years ago. We have never had a bad experience. We see a different vet every time, but they usually ask if I want anyone in particular and I always say I don't care and it works out fine, it probably makes scheduling easier too. I recently took our dog in for her annual and saw Dr. Nicole Socie, she was awesome. Answered all my questions in detail and really took her time to make sure she addressed all my concerns. It was such a good experience that I might change things up and ask for her next time!

Dr. Mahoney is the only vet I want to take care of my dog. She obviously loves what she does, she explains every and answers any questions I have. I am not fond at all of the check-in and check-out people. They are always rude and act like they are doing me a favor.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a veterinarian/ grooming services. They were rude and did not tell the truth on how the procedure was handled with giving the dog a shot put him in sleeping mode. Apparently he woke up and they continued to shave and hold him down with 2 groomers. This was a crazy haircut there are no excuses for this choppy job.

It was my first vet trip with my dog, had to get an annual visit. I was the only one there and waited quite a bit and when another dog came in they were seen first and I was early for my appointment. The visit was quick but the end was a bit weird, the doc took her, brought her back and said to go to the counter then I waited and was told the total. Vet bills can be expensive so for my first visit, it was less than stellar esp since a lot of people I know go here but not talking about cost before charging new customers Is a bad practice. No prices are on the items they sell either. I’ll continue to try them out but I have reservations.

Over the last 11 years with Brighton Eggert I've had nothing but extraordinary experiences with them for both dogs and cats. Even when we had to put our beloved boy down they were so kind and compassionate. Even now with our rescue pup they are patient and simply amazing with him I will recommend everyone looking for an amazing vet to check them out. And they do have Saturday appointments which is amazing

My dog was hit by a car and BE took him right in as soon as I called. This is my regular vet. They checked him over and cleaned him all up. They were very sympathetic. They didn’t charge me for an emergency visit either. I really trust them.

Brighton Eggert has been by far the very best vetinary clinic I've ever used.They have been so good to me and my boy who I rescued a few months ago. Due to this his medical history was mainly unknown and so he has had some stomach troubles on and off.They have always gotten me right in. Even on weekends and have taken such good care of my dog.I've seen 3 different vets there and every single one of them has been thorough and given my dog the very best care. They will listen to your concerns and find the best solution that is reasonable.Thier prices are extremely fair and I have never felt as though it was the type of place to overcharge.I have even received follow up calls to check on my pup which is such a nice touch. You can tell they really care about your pets here. I will always trust Brighton Eggert with any of my vetinary needs!

We took both fur kids to Brighton-Eggert after trying two other veterinarians in Buffalo. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of our wait before being seen. It was about 20-30 minutes. Our doctor, Dr Kurzel, was extremely thorough. She found inflamed gums - overlooked at previous vet clinic. We discussed their weights and food intake goals. She took time to ask us questions and she really listened. I could go on, but I’ll just say that this vet clinic takes animal health seriously. I’ve had animals since the time I was little, and these people are serious doctors. Was extremely impressed w their staff - vet techs and front desk personnel. Professional but also authentically kind.

Incredibly disappointed as my family has been taking our dogs to this vet for over 20 years. But today I’ve decided that I’ll be looking elsewhere. My dog has been a patient with them for her entire life, 7 years. At 6 months old she had to have surgery on a joint that was dying, and it was done perfectly - you’d never know she has an issue with her gait. Fast forward to this week, she’s limping again. The first sign she presented with as a puppy that something was wrong. I call today to make an appointment - I’m told they’re booking into May. Now, I understand scheduling and I’m not trying to push my dog through before others. But I feel her case may be a bit pressing given her medical history. I explained that she’s in pain, and if I’d have to wait I’ll have to consider taking her elsewhere. I was then told I can pay around $150 for an urgent care visit or go elsewhere. It was uncomfortable to hear that they were fine with a client, who’s been with this practice for many many years, to just go elsewhere. I understand and want businesses to grow! But don’t leave your loyal clients in the dust.Her last appointment she was due for bloodwork. Her blood work came back positive for something she was diagnosed with about 2 years ago, to which the vet at the time told us it was just something to monitor. The most recent vet called me back with the results and said we needed to bring her back in. I called back explaining we know about this diagnosis and we were told it would show up on future tests, and she just needed to be monitored. The response: “You’re right. I’m sorry. I didn’t read through her file.” I’m sorry? You saw my dog the day before without reading her medical history? I gave this situation the benefit of the doubt - we all have bad days - but now I’m honestly seeing it as negligent. We’ve paid a lot of money to care for our animals, as they’re family, and we have no issue doing so but unfortunately it’s time to part ways.I’ve given 3 stars because we wholeheartedly appreciate Dr. Mahoney and the love she’s given our pets throughout the years.

Coming from a different vet, I was nervous walking into this one with 2 puppies at once! They were absolutely amazing, made me feel at ease and simply let nature run its course. They brought me to one room with both the dogs, which already made all the difference. They had 3 staff members total come into the room, 1 to distract one pup, while the other was being seen by the vet and distracted with another staff member! I felt like I was able to take a breath and really hear all the information they were giving to me. The vet seemed genuine and was friendly and clearly depicted best practices moving forward and why. All in all I am so happy have switched vets, Brighton-Eggert Animal Hospital made a positive experience for both myself and my dogs!

We boarded our dog there while we went away for our daughter’s softball tournament in July of 2022. When we came back we paid in full and picked up our dog. A year later we get a bill in the mail saying we never paid. We no longer had the credit card that we used to pay, so we didn’t have the proof requested. Even though the lady told us that payment must be paid in full to pick up dog. Now after going back and forth they sent the bill to collections. We will never bring our dog back there. They screwed up, and now they want us to pay again. Be Careful if you choose them, they may try and screw you over a year and a half after the fact.

Brighton Eggert Animal Hospital has never failed me! I had to call late Saturday with an urgent problem with my tiny 16 year old dog with severe heart disease who was experiencing a GI bleed. I didn’t hold out much hope that they would get back to me, order something, and that I would be stressed all weekend with a sick dog just waiting for Monday. The vet tech took the message and conveyed it to the vet on duty. The vet called me and ordered the needed meds with further recommendations for follow-up. One hour later, I had the meds in my hands and started them immediately. Thank you to all who worked on Saturday!

Me and my family are long time clients of more than 20 years. This clinic takes amazing care of our cats. The staff is friendly and takes their jobs seriously. The facility itself is clean and inviting. The pricing is reasonable. I will not go anywhere else.

Had to take our 12yo Terrier in for urgent care. She was suddenly crying and yelping anytime she was touched. Dr. Mahoney (and the entire staff) took amazing and incredibly efficient care of us. Dr. Mahoney was able to diagnose her quickly, and accurately, and saved us the expense of unnecessary & expensive imaging. This was our first time there, and they made a great impression! Our dog was already more herself and more comfortable by the time we left the office. Thanks for the great service! ~“Bottles”

This past Saturday, March 23rd was a nerve racking day for me and my family. My little 1 year old cat was very sick, and we were fearing the worst. I made my appointment and they basically saved my cats life. I will always remember this and will always recommend Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic to anyone who owns a pet. Was very happy with our experience taking our puppy there especially since it was a Saturday evening and they could see her. The Vet and her assistant took their time and answered all of our questions. Very nice receptionist and what really matters is they all took good care of our puppy and the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic.

I like the way u don’t have to walk very far or climb stairs to get from my car to the office. The office itself is spacious. It helped ease the tension & anxiety my dog always has by the vet & assistant getting on the floor to make friends with my dog - so kind. They also took the time to make sure my dog’s harness was on just right-so important because my dog tends to wiggle right out. It would be nice if they had a jar of treats at the main desk because my dog is always used to getting a treat when the appointment is over. It would be safer if some type of fence was put up near the road so if any dog breaks away that they wouldn’t be so close to the street. I highly recommend this choice for vet care. I was very pleased with how thorough & pleasant the staff was. Ty! 😊

The doctors are nice and the technicians are nice. But make sure you get any information about pricing in writing, because it would seem that much of the staff is uneducated about their own policies and prices. And that includes the doctors. I was in the building, asking the front desk employees, who do the checking in and checking out and everything About pricing regarding a procedure. Not only did they not offer a plan that the doctor in the exam room had offered me, but the number I got for the procedure from the people behind the front desk was significantly different than the number when I called to clarify and spoke to an office manager the next day. The actual price was, in fact, almost double what I had been told the previous evening at the front desk.

This was our initial visit....Dr. Colangelo was very kind, patient, and easy to work with. She took her time with the consult, and didn't rush just to get to the next patient.I appreciate the time she took and her bedside manner. My dog was at ease, and that was a great sign.

Heather contacted me after I had a TERRIBLE experience with the vet and receptionist (it’s hard to say which one was worst regarding their poor attitudes to lack of care for animals which is disheartening), so I was extremely upset on 3/18 and was honestly going to switch vets because that’s how bad it was.Heather personally reached out to me and apologized, listened to my concerns (4000 characters wasn’t enough to address all the concerns so I read my entire original comment to her) and I could tell she was as upset as I was. She knew it was never okay to treat anyone like that and was so incredibly kind, apologized for the receptionist and vet. So going forward, I will thankfully never have to go back to the same vet and Heather was kind enough to make note of it and she also did something that was so beyond unnecessary, but very much appreciated and I know I can also speak on behalf on my corgi (aside from her being mouthy sometimes) and say we’re so appreciative to Heather for putting our faith back in Brighton-Eggert. Thank you so much, truly.

The staff is very friendly, caring and so sincere when it comes to the best care for my Golden Retriever. The hours are terrific, too! They've been caring for my current and previous dog for years. I also signed up for the monthly Paw Plan, which covers a lot of the costs for visits, bloodwork, and more! Very thankful for the hard working staff and doctors that do such a great job making sure my Golden get the best care possible.

Took my dog to be boarded for 2 nights, my dog is a pretty anxious dog. When I came to pick her up her hind legs and side of her stomach had caked on feces that had dried to the point of not coming out of her fur after attempting to wash it out for a over an hour. Had to take her to a separate groomer to have her fur partially shaved off because the feces were so hardened that they couldn’t get it off of her without it. I did reach out to the resort manager who was extremely kind, and understanding but it is just extremely unacceptable to allow a dog to be coated in their own feces and to allow it for so long that it doesn’t come off and they send the dog home without cleaning them. On top of how unacceptable and upsetting that is by itself to at almost $200 for this was adding insult to injury. Again, I truly appreciate the manager for her apology and looking further into it and she offered to bring my dog in to be groomed due to this, but unfortunately I am not willing to bring my dog there again.

Seems like a great place. It was my first visit with my one kitty cat, I will be bringing back my other puddy tat In March. Dr. Sprowls seems to be unique in her methodology that she doesn’t seem to be trying to get as much money as possible was one thing and she was also a lot of fun and did not take to heart any issue that seemed very normal for my cat. I was very pleased with her and the reception in and out of the building building. I recommend this Brighton Eggert Animal Clinic and Resort

Our emergency room visit was smooth and quick. We received answers, reassurance and a plan of action for a speedy recovery. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends. The staff was so caring and helpful with our hyper Aussie.

Had an emergency with our dog on Sunday, Mother's day. Called the emergency clinic for an appointment and they got us an appointment within 2 hours. They explained to us what was going on and gave us 4 medication to go home with and it was 300 dollars. Which I did not think was bad for an emergency visit and all the meds. They referred us to an eye specialist to make sure our dog had the best out come. Very happy with the care our dog had. Dr. Mahoney was wonderful!!This is not my regular vet....but thinking of changing now.

I have been taking Ghost (my Husky) to this amazing place for 2 years now and we LOVE IT, The veterinarian, the customer service and the attention to details are exceptional. I recommend this Vet to EVERYONE I now and to you now. I promise you will not regret it💕💕💕
