Had an absolutely delightful stay here. The art and design are unmatched. The staff is so kind. And the rooms are spacious and clean. Tivoli is also a cute town, worth exploring! We were blown away by the free breakfast, too. We’ll definitely be returning.

This evening my daughter Darlene took us here to celebrate my husband and I 53rd wedding anniversary. Even though it's not until the end of the month . We have never really experienced farm to table food. So we really didn't know what to expect. To make a long story very short. The minute we walked into the place the person greeting us was very friendly, then when we sat down or server Mel was very friendly as well as very formative about the menu. Aside from the food being extremely delicious it was presented in a very mystical way. Tonight was the first time I actually ate flowers and enjoyed it. I wish that you could spare more stars because as far as I'm concerned five stars is too little to what this restaurant gave me this evening. The food, the ambience, the staffing are just more than I expected. Thank you ,,thank you ,thank you.🙏🙏🐸🐸 I love fogs

What an incredible location to come visit. I can't say enough on how great the staff are and how well thought out the menu at the restaurant is. Execution was perfect, as was our stay. Can't wait to come back.

Clean room and comfy bed. Service is a bit crude if not rude. Nice place to stay if you have a car and will drive to other locations for meals. I literally asked for a boiled egg on my second day after having sunny side eggs the first morning and was told the chef can only make scrambled or fried eggs...lol. so many things to unpack there but clearly service was to blame and not the chef. Cute location and deck. Chose to go out to Rhinebeck and Woodstock for dinner as options were better and service was included. There are other similar locations in the surrounding areas I can support so will try a different location next time as we stay in the area at least three to four times a year.

The hotel advertised itself as pet friendly, it was anything but. We had left our dog alone for a total of three hours, upon return I was informed by the desk manager Susan that our Scottie was whining and pawing at the door. I apologized for the bad behavior. I took our dog Sadie out and upon returning was carrying her up the stairs to our room, the desk manager Susan reached between a couple and began to aggressively pet Sadie in a manner which I deemed to be hostile. I returned to our room to await the arrival of my wife. Upon my wife’s return, she was accosted by Susan, who again complained about the dogs previous behavior. This hotel is not dog friendly. There is no adequate reserved parking spaces for guests, we had to park a quarter mile from the hotel upon our return from a dance recital. We were charged thirty five extra for the dog, which is fine, but the hotel is NOT dog friendly. No ice machine.

Enjoyed our stay this summer. Very comfortable room, love the Santal 33 bath products, and great restaurant downstairs. Nice bartenders, food was excellent. Great seasonal and locally sourced menu. Good wine selection available. Breakfast with stay was excellent as well, love the artist made ceramics with the meal. An all around cool hotel with great style and a lot of attention to detail.

The staff was very, very friendly. We brought our two puppies who were welcomed and accommodated. The breakfasts were great, the bar and restaurant were excellent. We had a great experience at this cute hotel.

Highly recommend an overnight. This was our first getaway from NYC during Covid. Lovely building and staff, very clean, small parking lot for guests-only, breakfast on colorful pottery overlooking the adorable main street, Tivoli Bays is nearby and worth walking down the wooden stairs for the view. Thank you for the needed nice memory. (I found this location on The InnBox list of "17 cool places to stay upstate")

Wow, what good food, and what good service! A staff of angels, who will do their very dang ol darned best to make your experience *special* and exceptional. The art, just wow! It's worth getting trapped in the lovely cosmic black hole that is Tivoli just for a meal here!

2 Bedroom SuiteWe heard really good things about the Hotel Tivoli, which is really a bed & breakfast. Our experience is probably different than most others. We needed 2 rooms and that wasn’t available. But they did have a 2 bedroom suite in the adjacent building. At least we didn’t have to worry about any late noise from a downstairs bar/restaurant. But the suite only had one wall AC unit which made it very difficult to cool all the rooms. Bedrooms doors had to be left open to get the cool air. A benefit of the suite is that it has a very nice sitting room. Unfortunately, the furniture (as seems to be in all the rooms) was more about art than function. The couch was really uncomfortable. On the plus side, the breakfast each morning was really good. I enjoyed the hotel for the weekend, but I would probably stay some place else on a future visit.

Fine restaurant with interesting and well prepared menu items, unique cocktails. Excellent service. We ate in the bar, music was a bit too loud

The lady at the front desk was very rude when answering the phone and acted as if it was so busy she didn't have time for games. That's not how you answer the phone at a professional establishment. She's lucky I don't remember her name I was very close to cursing her behind out!

Found the service to be slow and inattentive. The art work was disturbing not suitable for a restaurant. Cocktails were fine but couldn't get a second since the bartender disappeared.

The hamlet is adorable, the restaurant cute and the staff friendly with good service but the food I found very bland, definitely not the best salsa although my pulled pork taco was good.

Beautiful Hotel full of art (Bryce Marden an d his wife are the owners!). Not cheap for a small town but you can always go to the restaurant or the bar.

Was expecting a nice meal from what I had heard about this place. The food was over cooked and the service was very slow. It was tasty but I don’t think I’ll be going back

We stayed here just one night cause it was close to the airport and I was shocked, the bedsheets had hair in it , it smelled bad, the blanket had weird stains , a few big holes in the walls , the shower walls had soap from the previous person, inside the shower was dirty , lights didnt work good , furniture was scratched up, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone , and the staff was not friendly at ,its just a ghetto rundown place that seems no one seems to take care of
