This is the best place around our area for fresh produce, meats, spices, breads, etc. All fresh produce items, beef, poultry etc. are locally grown, raised and organic.. A large variety of other items are always available, if not they will do their best to order what you need. Especially, for rare recipe ingredients that can't be found at Wal-Mart, we know for sure the Co-Op is a 99% guarantee to have it.The customer service is 💯.Always a smile and a warm welcoming atmosphere.

Great to have access to local meat and produce! So excited to see Hawthorne Valley products as well. We went on a Sunday evening and there wasn’t much local produce but there were local carrots and beets. Beer selection was good too. Thankful for businesses like this! ❤️🙏🏽

Fabulous little store with every imaginable yummy available. I love the cheeses, local organics, and wide array of ethnic foods, homemade breads, croissants and organic coffees. I have not been disappointed as their merchandising is well thought out and supporting local vendors. If you like beer, they have a huge section. You can be a member or not, however with membershipcomes discounts. Very grateful for this grocery and recommend it with 5 stars.

Love love LOVE the local food co-op! It stocks a variety of products, supports local producers, and the staff is WONDERFUL. They are incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming every time I'm there. I can't recommend the co-op enough - everyone I've sent there has loved it as well. It's a fantastic and much-needed small business downtown!

Wonderful grocery, a must shopping spot in Northend of Lake George. Fresh local produce, cheese. We bought salmon and chicken as well, very good. And of course all your favorite organic brands and various ethnic items. Good selection of local beverages as well. Go to shopping spot when vacation in ADK

Nice variety of ‘niche’ things that we like - higher grade coffee beans, craft beers (nice selection), some really good frozen pastas, fresh bread, CBD products, and lots more. the staff are very helpful - they did a special order of tomatillos for me.

I LOVE this Co-Op! Everything you could need, super friendly staff and loads of local and regional food & products! Where you shop is important, so really support local by shopping here, if you don't your only option will be walmart. People and planet over profits!
