Do not stay here for your own safety! We pulled into check in and immediately it looked like a rehab center. We didn’t even feel safe enough to get out of our car when I called to get a refund the hotel said they would not reimburse me even though they knew that it was not a safe environment. If you have a family or your concerned about getting robbed, do not stay here there are drug addicts everywhere!!!!!

These idiots charged my account by accident and took last of my money until I get paid again. When I asked for my money back ASAP the girl seemed like she thought it was funny and said no. It will take 7 to 10 business days to go back on my card. I asked if she would help with the overdraft fee she caused and she said in a snarky way "nope" then asked me what I'm going to do about it? Very unprofessional and trashy acting front desk at this super 8. Her name is Samantha she said anyway. Don't go here it's full of crack heads and welfare stays anyway.

- Good stay but check your charges -I stayed here in early October; the hotel was nice and quiet despite high occupancy. The property appears in good condition and has attractive rustic touches, like the log cabin exterior and charming pine furniture. For a budget hotel there were some nice room amenities, such as a large TV and a safe (although mine needed new batteries). Location is great, in beautiful mountain surroundings, and there is a Walmart and a McDonald's next door. The room was affordable, comfortable and clean, and I would definitely stay again.The only issue was when I discovered a $50 surcharge on my credit card afterward. I can't imagine what that was for, as I left the room in very good condition (I worked in hotel housekeeping and try to be a courteous guest). I did ask in advance for an extra hour for checkout, which they agreed to and never mentioned a fee. I will say that when I called about it, the staff member was very polite and readily agreed to refund the charge. First and most important Warning!! Do Not enter the motel property from the entrance closest to McDonald's, there is a MONSTROUS pothole on that road. Use the entrance for Walmart, then turn left into the property. There are still plenty of potholes to dodge going in though. When I mentioned it to the girl at the front desk, she just gave me a sheepish grin and said "yeah, I know".We stayed in room 105. The room door stuck a bit and you had to push it hard to be sure it latched. The air-conditioning works well. We had trouble with the TV and the remote. We couldn't get it to change channels, and then the screen would randomly go dark. The guy at the front desk came in and tried to fix it.Place is adequate for the money. Oh, and the bread in the tray for breakfast was moldy.

Front desk staff at 8pm was very polite and great at their job.The rooms were better than expected for the price.The bed in our room was very uncomfortable and needed to be replaced long ago. Cleaning staff must have noted this when fitting a sheet on a damaged mattress.

Stay away. Housekeeping starts at 7am, they are extremely loud, had to go out in the hallway and remind them that people are actually staying at this hotel. Bathroom sink backed up, called front desk, no one ever came to take care of the issue. Shower head had seemingly never been cleaned, and there was a questionable stain on the chair in the room. Entrance also has several potholes that would swallow a small car.

I didn't like the old fashioned tiny toilet in bathroom older fixtures. Breakfast was a bag with a muffin and a boxed juice. Room was just fine. Clean it smelled heavy of cleaning fluids and we had to open windows and air the bleach smell out. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. Our stay there was just perfect for our visit to fort. There is a Walmart and a McDonald's within walking distance or just drive over on your way. Out side of town ticonderoga down the highway a few miles. I'd book there again.

On an absolute scale our stay was comfortable, with a good sized clean room, good beds and quiet AC. For the price paid this was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The counter staff was helpful and responsive, and the manager on duty in the morning was excellent. Check in was smooth, and they ask you at that time to give your choices for a bagged (cold) breakfast with choices, albeit limited. Then you can collect your bagged breakfast in the morning. Coffee is available 24/7. They also did something very special for us that really helped out. My wife wanted to stay in the room till we checked out, and I wasn't sure exactly when I would finish my work so we could do so. I explained our situation to Emily. She found they had plenty of unoccupied rooms and told us not to worry about how late we checked out! I was delayed several hours past their 11am check out time, but they didn't charge anything extra.Location wise, this is convenient with a McDonalds adjacent to it and a Wal Mart supercenter a few hundred yards away. So our overnight stay worked out a lot better than we had expected.

Parking onsite for our 40' hotshot load. Mc Donalds, Walmart, and Exxon with grill all across parking lot. The staff is SUPER helpful and friendly!!!!! Water pressure is EXCELLENT!!!!!!! Room was clean, beds comfortable, and even REAL pillows (if you travel alot you know the value of this!!!!). The rate was unbeatable! I will definately be staying here again if I get another load near ticonderoga.

Not greeted in the most friendly way. Hallway carpets are filthy. Mold on ceilings in room and bathroom. Bugs on floor around the bed, most dead but some still moving. Some could have been bed bugs.

Wish I could give it 1000000 stars. Clean and staff always ready to serve. Breakfast was good especially because we were so short on time. Mini fridge in the room allowed us to bring food for my little guy. There is so much fast food insurance walking distance. Very nice home like feel restaurants in 5 min ride. We were here because someone passed in our family and I needed something kid friendly. The staff was so kind to my little guy. He’s 6 and there was enough room in the space for him to feel at home . Thank you super 8. Also front desk service . Amazing !!!! I can’t put to words how much they helped. The bathroom in room very clean and that’s a must ! The beds were so comfortable and in side the mini fridge was so clean. That’s another must for me :) the rooms were definitely updated not too long ago. I stayed here a few years back and it was different. This is not your typical super 8 ! Very nice. You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping things clean and keeping guest happy

It's *very* basic. Cheap furnishings, cheap faucet & toilet seat, hard & loud bed. Walls are really thin for noise, but it wasn't crowded so that was ok. On the good side, room was VERY clean, which is not something one takes for granted for inexpensive hotels in small towns.

Very clean rooms! I was at the end of the hallway w/ an access door and it was really quiet. I didn't partake in the breakfast part of my stay (not an early eater), but I do know you got a paper with a list of the breakfast items when you checked in to tell them what you wanted in the morning and they would have it ready for you in a bag when you checked out w/ your room # on it. I was hiking in the ADK's for the weekend, so it was a good location to the mountains I was climbing. Highly recommend staying here.

The staff is very friendly and cordial, however this is not a vacationers ideal place to stay. They cater to out of town workers who stay during the week. These men are very noisy clomping around in their work shoes and show no regard for other guests. They are up before 6:00 and make sure everyone else is also. Terrible sleeping conditions. The breakfast bar is very limited. Two cold cereals, waffles, toast. Cleanliness is not a strong point either. I do not recommend for family stays.

I had not stayed in a Super 8 in years. This was pleasant and clean. My only complaint was that there is no elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor. We had a large suitcase and we had to lug it up the stairs. However, it was quiet. We did not try the free breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The desk staff was helpful with check in and out.

Major leak from toilet all over the floor that was known by housekeeping because they put a small towel under the tank and then shut off the water. Found the issue after turning on the water and using all the towels to mop up the water so i was unable to shower. This was at 8 pm and i was checking out at 7am the next morning so it was silly to swap rooms. Clerk at desk in the morning was really snotty about it when i told him about the water issue and also about propping open the back door so i could load my vehicle..he kicked out the block and forced me to walk all the way around (veteran walking with a cane mind you) to go upstairs all the way to the other end to continue emptying my room. All this aggravation for about $85.00 per nite!!! Unsatisfactory!!!

Super 8 motels ALWAYS are so deceiving. They seem to be extremely basic in nature from the outside, but are unbelievably clean, comfortable and inviting on the inside. I couldn't believe how comfortable the bed and pillows were, the room was in perfect repair, no funky smells and there was not a single issue. Can I mention how affordable the stay was? Wow!

Planned to sleep here after a long driving and because it was affordable. You get what you pay. The installation is simple but ok. My room was pretty clean. Breakfast was complete and good. Just missed some fresh fruits. Staff was courteous and fast. For one or two nights, it's ok. Just watch out if you arrive late and hungry. You could end up eating McDonald's which is pretty close.

Rooms are ok for the price- but there is a variance in rooms. Please do not ask for suggestions for restaurants drive into town yourself, there are a lot more options then presented. The park is wonderful and the town is very welcoming. Great location with lots to see and do.
