Normally, I have nothing but positives to share about Snug Harbor and their staff. However, on my last visit, my son picked up the boat, and it was literally only 3/4 of a tank full when dispatched. We only noticed this after approx 5 mile drive down to our dock location at Royal Anchorage Way. With a 40 plus gallon tank, that us approximately a $50 fuel deficit that we began with. Very disappointed that management did not offer any type of compensation for this! We filled it in the course of the week at least 3 times exclusively at snug harbor south and again when returned to Snug Harbor north. I have been a Snug Harbor customer since they taking over Werners! My recommendation is; make them fill the tank while watching upon pick up. This should not be necessary but I'm sorry. 50 bucks is 50 bucks!

Thanks for sharing all the info about Bennington. Very knowledgeable.Go See them... Ticonderoga/ Lake George . Rental rates are a Solid Value.Summer maybe hot but this Marina has the perfect way to spend the days and nights.

Friendly staff, helpful service. Great place to rent a boat or pick up some water sports equipment. Haven't used their marine service department, but I would be surprised if they weren't excellent too!

Amazing service and people are very helpful. Reasonable boat rental prices. Our boat was stuck in middle of huge lake George since boats's propeller was not working. Our boat couldn't move. We called the marina and help arrived immediately. They made sure we are safe and our boat is fine. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Also good precautions during covid. Very clean boats.

Our experience was fantastic, they are the nicest people we have ever dealt with, they went above and beyond to help us, they fixed all our problems, no questions asked , we give everyone there a A +, very professional and knowledgeable, we traveled 3hrs to get there but would go back anytime to buy another boat or for service 👍👍👍

Went here, bought $100 in gas and spent $25 to rent a wakeboard for 24 hrs. The wakeboard was missing a fin but decided to rent it anyway. When we tried to put it on we realized the left boot was so torn and frayed that you couldn't tighten it at all. Used it a little but with a completely loose left foot and missing a fin it was sliding around too much and decided it was to dangerous to use after a friend had a bad fall on it. Brought it back the next day and they refused to give a refund on the wakeboard cause I had "seen it before renting it". I guess I, a non-wakeboarding-expert, assumed that if they were renting it out it was at least usable. They offered to let us use a tube for free but that was it. Forecast had rain for the next several days so was not interested in that. They guy I returned it to even agreed that the board was trash and shouldn't be rented. Pretty peeved but realistically its only $25. But if they are this stingy on a defective $25 board, I'd be worried about renting a boat and then it being defective. Good luck getting anything back on it. We come for a few weeks every summer and personally I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My wife and I got our first used boat (2006 stingrays LS200) three years ago, at the boat show. We absolutely love it. The service and sales people are so much fun to have dealt with. My wife cried when we took a test run after purchasing. P.S. Bob was great. Thank you all for everything!

We used Snug Harbor Marina South last year for a 5 day boat rental. They were helpful, courteous, and got us on our way with no problem. Reservations were smooth, and they even helped us load the camping gear into the boat.
