Laura went out of her way to not only perfectly fit my pup with a harness but also demonstrated how to use it properly. She is clearly an animal lover and had my 5 month old Aussie walking better on a leash than any trainer I’ve had. The store has everything you could possibly need and more, including some hard to find healthy treats and chews. Highly recommend.

Laura and Sophie are the nicest kindest and most loving people! They really care so much. Travelling with my cat to Houston. Laura helped try on multiple harnesses on him and made sure he is comfortable. Sophie walked him in the store and made sure he was doing okay. This place is everything nice interlaced with the love of these two lovely ladies!

I went into the shop looking for advice on dog food for a pup with a sensitive stomach. I was met by two girls, Laura and Christa who could not have more helpful. I met these "vicious" dogs of hers and while my dog drank water from their bowl, they sniffed and went back behind the counter as quiet as could be.Bottom line: I purchased a food that my dog tolerates well and is now thriving and healthy. We made some friends that we will continue to share experiences with. and her prices are actually better than two "Big Box" pet stores...by dollars.You know...sometimes dogs take on the personality of their owners. In general dog people are good people with good dogs. Bark and Meow are good people with good dogs.

As a worker at Bark and Meow for the past two years I must say that the negative reviews are a horrible representation of the store. The store offers a variety of merchandise that satisfies all needs of pets and owners. Laura, the owner, always is working on bettering the store and making the experience pleasant for all customers. The dogs come to work everyday and are generally crated or leashed behind the counter. As any pet owner would know dogs are animals and will react under certain circumstances due to natural instinct. I am not only saying this as a worker but I also know from experience that everyone who comes into the store has nothing but nice things to say and the highest praise of Laura.
