This place was amazing, I enjoy going to outdoor eateries, the food and atmosphere is always amazing. Mama's Boy Burgers was no exception, the staff, environment and patrons were amazing as well. I had their ice cream, let me rephrase that, their custard! It was fantastic. Sitting outside was also a great experience. it's such a cute village area. We visited a few places along the "main street" as well. Nice area to enjoy. I will be back to enjoy their burgers and fries! They looked delicious, peeking at other orders, lol

Mamas boy makes a great burger! Very satisfying. I like that the meat is local Angus beef, it does taste better to me. I recommend ordering online instead of over the phone, since online orders are made first. My server Oliver was polite, talked clearly and was good at multitasking. I used to come to this spot before it was mamas boy and I’m glad it was replaced with an awesome burger and shake joint.

This was a fun quick stop for us on our way back from some hiking. We got the foot long chili dog, the mamas boy, with fries and onion rings, and a chai latte ice cream. Honestly everything was really good with the exception of the chili dog. The hot dog was cold and almost waxy. I bit into it and was immediately grossed out by it. I also don’t love chunks of beans in my chili but that’s just a personal preference. The chai latte ice cream was delicious though! It was also eggless so we could both try it. I liked the look of the place as well. It kind of looked like a burger shack and was bright colors making it super fun. They have indoor and outdoor seating but it was so cold and we had the dog so we just ate quickly in the car!Dietary restrictions: Eggless ice cream options

The best little burger joint I've ever been in! I ordered a farm boy, which has to be one of the best chicken burgers I've ever eaten, hands down. The atmosphere is super nice when you're up here in Upstate's mountains. I also love the fact that they server TATER TOTS as well as fries. It is really a nice change of pace from every other burger joint. I'd honestly tell anyone going up here for skiing or the Slopes nightclub to give this place a try. I loved it very much.

Very lively place. Attracts people of all demographics and ages.Vegetarian / vegan friendly options.Their ice creams are very tasty and they have a lot of flavours to choose from, as well as specials of the day.The staff is very friendly and smiling.On a typical summer day we found a long line of people ordering from the kiosk.They have adequate outdoor seating and parking.

Had high expectations for this place. Don’t like being rude to small businesses but this place was mid—i felt bad because there was only one guy at the counter and he seemed to get our food out okay. Milkshakes was delicious. Chopped cheese was good. Onion rings were okay. BUT the burgers, fries and mac and cheese man. no thank you — No salt on anything. overcooked fries, burgers tasted just not taste or tasted weird. Mac and cheese tasted better but it has like a weird flavor of like stuffing gone wrong. Greasy to the max. This is coming from 5 people not just one person. kinda disappointed. Everything just tasted…weird. Never tasted anything like this.

Very good burger and ice-cream/milkshakes. We went to Kaaterskill falls trail and this place is just 5mins drive away after coming out of the hike. A super nice surprise to us. There are tons of options for both milkshakes/ice cream as well as burger/hotdog. Things recommended are the El Niño burger, for side choose the tater tots it’s really good. For ice-cream i picked the twisted soft serve and it was good, the flavour was quite thick. Highly recommended place!!

Place is cute, efficient, and friendly service. We waited in line but at 2 pm on Sun that’s expected. Boyfriend ordered the classic Mama’s boy and said it was fine. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and couldn’t eat it because there was more breading than chicken and the breading broke off the chicken as it was so dry. Fries were the small end of a bag kinda size and bland. All in all a forgettable experience.

After hiking Hunter Mountain, this was a great choice for a casual, quick and delicious meal on the ride home. Hamburgers were excellent, especially "El Nino." The kids loved the milkshakes. Friendly, relaxed staff. Small indoor dining area. We ate in an outdoor, heated enclosure with four tables dubbed "The Hamptons." It's on a crowded street, but there's plenty of parking in the marked lot behind the restaurant.

I wanted to like this place, but the food fell short. I love an old style cheeseburger but everything we ordered had major problems with it. The double cheeseburgers we ordered had thin, dried out, and overcooked patties. I'm talking not any moisture left in them. And I don't mind a smash patty but it was neither crispy, seasoned, or juicy. In fact they completely lacked salt (not able to taste any seasoning whatsoever). Fries were fresh cut, which is always appreciated, but also completely lacked salt. If the fries had salt they'd actually be good. Otherwise the service was good but the meat on the burger was so unenjoyable that we felt quite disappointed.

Their ice creams were the best. Super creamy and fulfilling. Special mention to the coconut almond flavor. The sandwiches were good too but the ice creams are the star. It has a cute outdoor seating arrangement and is super close from the hunter mountains ⛰. Going by the crowd, it seemed like a favorite as it was quite busy.

The place located in a perfect place - very close to Hunter resort. They let you eat inside or take to go. There was no line and our oder was served pretty quick. It was 3 of us and we ordered different burgers. They were pretty good but nothing special. The only minus is the portions were small!

We got the Mama’s boy burger and their special of the day with onion rings and fries. The special was the perfect amount of sauce to bacon to crispy onions ratio. The mama’s boy was a great classic burger. The fries and onion rings were very greasy and not seasoned.

food good.Service fine.Atmosphere poor given we weren’t able to enjoy the atmostphere.we ordered ahead online and arrived at 7:40pm expecting 20min to eat. Rude associate told us he would lock the doors in 10min. We asked if it was ok if we can at least finish our meal. He reiterated he’d lock the doors no matter what with a nasty attitude.Extremely rude to rush us considering we ordered ahead and tipped.

Absolutely delicous. Visiting for the weekend, we found this spot right on the Main Street. We came at a busy time, but ordering was a breeze, service was great & our food came out fast. We got a Devil’s Tombstone burger & a bacon cheese burger, with fries. Everything was really good. My husband even went back for seconds! DONT SKIP THE ICE CREAM! This was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. We got a vanilla milkshake, and a scoop of cookie dough, and coconut almond joy. So very good!!! Will put this at #1 on my list to go when I visit again.

The scoop of ice cream seems to vary depending on when you go. This picture was from a weekday, literally just 1 small scoop. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the scoop I received on a weekend. Which filled almost the whole cup. I'd say the weekend scoop is worth the $4.The "large fries" for $5 was definitely not worth it.

The food is really good and well prepared. They have a fair amount of outdoor dining however in November it is primarily a take out with a take out atmosphere.One thing at least in November is make sure you call in advance to order. Everything is cooked to order which takes time and can be slowed by previous orders already being prepared.A good fast food Burger place.BTW in November Monday to Wednesday it is one of the only restaurants open in the town of Tannersville.In fact it may be the only one.

Came here hoping to find a hidden Gem as I enjoy giving my support to small businesses got the milkshake and it was great but as the food came out I was highly disappointed the butternut squash soup was inedible not only was it bland it had a very off putting taste, the burgers as well had little to no seasoning and a off-putting flavor if you came here for a shake and ok fries your safe but I wouldn’t recommend getting anything much more complicated.

Great smashed burger spot up in these mountains. The big daddy and el Niño burgers were exactly what we needed, arguably more than what we needed. The tater tots were excellently crispy. The chili was phenomenal with sliced (and caramelized?) onions rather than minced onions refreshingly in the mix. A surprise I enjoyed. Highly recommend you get a flavored hot cocoa! You can add any of the shake flavors. The peanut butter cocoa was delicious, but the pistachio cocoa was phenomenal. Overall, I get why this place was named for the best burger in the Hudson Valley.

Saw they had white hot dogs on the menu and had to try! White hot dogs are a mix of beef, pork, and veal. I would have liked for it to have been a bit more crisp but I was happy with my meal as a whole - hot dog with saurkraut, tater tots, and a coke. Can't complain plus they have outdoor seating and quick.

Great burgers, fries and ice cream. Fried pickles are tasty but they're usually over breaded. Not cheap but very good. I love that they source their ingredients locally. Their staff could probably smile a little more.

German chocolate cake shake and onion rings were amazing. Side sauces were really good too, BBQ sauce was tangy and chipotle mayo had a really strong smoky spicy flavor. Burger itself was good too, tho the house sauce (thousand island dressing variation) was a bit sloppy / too liquid-y / un-viscous.

this place LOOKS very cool, but the food wasn't anything special. the burger was kind of grainy and had almost no flavor. inexpensive enough to move on with my life, but i wouldn't go back.
