We drove past this gem on our way to Hunter and I’m so glad we came back to check it out. My fiancé and I came to grab coffee and a smoothie, but I decided to also get home fries as a side of my smoothie. The presentation was perfect for just a side of potatoes. The potato’s were seasoned really well and were not greasy. The coffee was good and warm, the smoothie was also good, as well as the service.They have gluten free and vegan options. In addition they sell baked goods which include gluten free and vegan options too.

Was driving through from the city and stopped at this nice little place. First impression is it’s a mom and pop place and very laid back. Looking at the menu there’s decent options for vegan which is nice for my gf. Saw the CLT(chix, lettuce, tomato) for like $17. Was like oh boy going for nyc prices. Didn’t say it came with really anything. Food came out and boy was I impressed. Got this monster sandwich with so much chicken on it. Fresh fruit, veggies, potatoes, sweet potatoes. Everything was good especially her secret sauce Maggie puts on. Everything was great. Maggie herself was there and was very friendly and greeted everyone like her own child. Finished up a little after closing and asked if I could get something to go and she said no problem. Very accommodating. She also threw in a free carrot cake brownie which was amazingly good. I would highly recommend coming here. Can’t imagine what other dish sizes would be. Staff was very friendly too.

This place was INCREDIBLE. Maggie is amazing. So lovely and makes sure that your meal is plentiful and delicious. I got an omelette and was not expecting it to be served with all those veggies, fruit, rice, and toast. Just what we needed for the hike. Thank you again, definitely coming back!

If you’re looking for a meal made with love, Maggie’s is where your heart will lead you. My best friend and I both had the Market Omelette. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, the salad dressing was light and refreshing, and the potatoes are to die for. It honestly felt like a home cooked meal made from the heart.

Delicious food and friendly service. Lox and bagel with cream cheese was fresh, the potatoes were wonderfully seasoned, fruit was fresh and the pancakes tasted like a warm banana oatmeal cookie! Coffee was nice and hot!

Maggie is an absolute gem. And she knows how to throw together a solid good bagel! We went early Saturday morning (just after 9am) and it was quiet. Super friendly, and dog friendly outdoor seating (Maggie brought my dog a water bowl).

Perfect small town diner with breakfast served all day. Lots of veggie options and really delicious food. Definitely fresh and a cut above other diners. Highly recommend the oatmeal blueberry pancakes. The service was very slow if they are busy so I wouldn't go if you are in a rush. If that weren't the case, I would have said 5 stars.

My husband and I came here for breakfast before going hiking. The food was very delicious and healthy! Maggie is very friendly and welcoming, and the place is adorable. We’ll definitely come back if we visit the town again.

The place was charming. The food portion is very generous. The breakfast starts with a small plate of fruits. I had the top secret omelette, which is good. The thing is we had breakfast there before we went to Hunter mountain for skiing. I was not expecting fast food speed, but the service was really slow. Only one server was there and she also cooks the food. I won't recommend it if you are in a rush. But, if you have a lot of time. That is not a bad place at all.

Excellent food. We had the blueberry pancakes and eggs mcmaggie. The pancakes are out of this world. Amazing taste and texture, and the nut/seed mix is just so unique and delicious. Can’t wait to come back.

The food was very good and came out in good time. The prices are equivalent to NYC or a resort town, but the serving size made up for it. The staff was very pleasant and ready to serve. We had the Krooked Rancheros and an omelet.

The service and the vibe were amazing. As soon as we got in Maggie welcomed us with coffee and made sure we had everything we need. The dishes were enormous and delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Maggie’s Krooked Cafe is an eclectic wonderful place to enjoy breakfast, lunch and early dinner. Maggie is an excellent chef who comes up with exceptional wholesome food combinations that will make your mouth water. Her prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly as can be. For a unique experience, check her cafe out when you are in the area.

Lovely little place! I went there Thursday morning with my couple who just got engaged at Kaaterskill and we were so happy she was open as we were quite cold and really could use a cup of coffee! She was the nicest person and allowed us to take a few photos inside as it was pretty empty. The coffee was good, the breakfast sandwich was better and it's just so cutesy inside! Definitely recommend!

She was closed by the health dept for unsanitary conditions but continues to secretly operate when she shouldn’t be. She served me and my friend disgusting coffee with no ice and a dusty lid, and donuts that were stale and hard. She added in apples when we didn’t even ask for them and charged us $20. Completely scammed us. Avoid this place she’s crazy and meant to be closed

Food looked delicious! But unfortunately after twenty minutes at my table without even been given a menu I gave up and went somewhere else. Staff was clearly trying, just need more support. Will try again another day (not a Saturday) when they're hopefully less busy.

Be an informed customer-ASK for prices before ordering. There is no menu, and the prices are pretty high. The food was decent enough, although a bit odd. We asked for some simple things- eggs, bacon, toast, and got those with a bunch of add-ons like rice, potatoes, salad, fruit, all piled on the plate. It was a nice gesture, but not what we wanted. $26 per meal, only found that out at the end, and not really worth it. Maybe all the extra food was used to justify that price? Fine, but again, not what we wanted but it's hard to know without a menu.

Absolutely, hands-down, the best pancakes I've had. I was not expecting the genuine, unique, and very delicious pancakes we were served. The menu is limited, but it was the best breakfast experience that I've had in a long time. The original pancakes are made with fresh oats, seeds, and fruit of your choice mixed into the pancake. Highly recommend even if you haven't experienced this type of breakfast before!

For starters the restaurant wasn’t even busy when we arrived. We ordered 3 simple breakfast entrées and waited over cold coffee for an excruciating hour and a half. After waiting all that time for our food, it was delivered to the wrong table. The only plus side to this was we met a nice group of people next to us who we bonded with over their long wait time. They even offered us toast off their plate because they too had waited over an hour to be served. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Visited there to get lunch and coffee during our visit to a nearby town. When we walked up, the front door was open wide but nobody came to visit after several calls to the back. Then we saw the posting from the health department that the restaurant was closed down and left. While across the street, we noticed that they were letting people into the cafe "by appointment" via what seemed to me as "on the sly" and contrary to the posting. I wish them well, but now it seems they are only open to "special friends". The owner has posted a rebuttal telling me most of my post is a lie, but without providing her side of the "truth". The photo does not lie.

My husband and I decided to come here based on the reviews and decided to we HAD to share our own. We were a little disappointed when we found out there were only pancakes on the menu but now i would gladly only come back for those pancakes. I have never had such a delicious breakfast!!! Ive never had pancakes prepared so perfectly. The fruits, oats, and nuts combination were phenomenal.

We had a delicious breakfast at Maggie’s! She gave us so much food that both of us were full the whole day. If you want a great home cooked meal come to Maggie’s. Cool art all around the restaurant too.
