I love looking for coffee shops everywhere I go and stumbled on this place after we hiked Kaaterskill Falls. Their Black Bear Burger is a MUST to try. I also had their Jolene which paired well with my burger. If this place wasn't on the opposite direction of where we needed to go we would've came back the next day just to get burgers to go! 😁

Great coffee, great ambience and even better service. I would visit Bear and Fox just for their antique and rustic looking ambience let alone their aromatic coffee. Limited but interesting contemporary menu and nice seating areas to cater to all types of customers. One can get a book and warm the couch or enjoy hot coffee on a bar stool. They sell mostly local products in and around the area. Did I mention they use recyclable and biodegradable cups and lids? Simple place, simple service but will definitely make our day.

Such a cute restaurant with great decorations and great vibe. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Came here for breakfast and had the egg sandwich - all the ingredients tasted so fresh and very filling. Highly recommend the Ramble in the Bramble iced latte but all their coffee combinations sound delicious. And the Toms on Top toast was very good too! Also LGBTQ friendlyParking: Plenty of parking in the back of the restuarant

I wish I lived in this little shop. It's exactly where you'd want to spend a morning in the mountains, sipping on coffee and enjoying the view. We lingered in this shop for a long time, enjoying the ambiance and comfy seating and natural light. The espresso was tasty and the bagel sandwiches were excellent. Very kind and sincere staff as well.

Very cute and cozy shop! The staff is super nice and the drinks are amazing, I tried the Jolene latte and the blackberry cold brew. I also tried the spice egg sandwich which was deff my favorite food.Definitely excited to come back!

Excellent little coffee shop and store. The breakfast items (egg sandwich and tomato toast) were spectacularly made with fresh and local ingredients. The s’mores latte gave all the best notes of the campfire treat that you know and love.

This little store is super rad and so cute! The food and coffee is delicious, and they have a great assortment of packaged snacks and beverages. Bear & Fox also has a great selection of quirky and fun items including candles, socks, stickers, cards, and coffee mugs. I bought a book on herbs that I can't put down, and my husband bought me a really cool shoulder bag and the most beautiful, artisan, hand-woven blanket, which I adore. The owners and staff at Bear & Fox are super friendly and I really enjoyed chatting with them. I love this place!!

The coffee shop is a nice vibe, they have mugs and you can buy like sweaters and stuff and their medium coffee is kind of small so when I asked for one caramel it was super sweet and they also don't have sleeves for the coffee and the hot cups rlly hard to hold. But staff were sweet

I visited this place around NYE. I chose this place because it was one of the only places open around January 1st and it did not disappoint! The interior was warm and inviting. There was even an outdoor dining space that had a roaring fire going, which felt nice on such a damp day.I can't say much on the food as I only ordered cookies. However, the hot chocolate I also ordered was DIVINE.I'm giving this place 5 stars and beyond for customer service as the barista working there said I was "dressed like a sorcerer" while I was sporting my Uzbek jacket. That was exactly the vibe I was going for. I felt so seen, haha!If I go through the Catskills again I will definitely stop by here since the overall experience was so lovely.Kid-friendliness: This place had safe highchairs for kids!

Stopped in unexpectedly passing through town on my weekend getaway. Great vibe and we were welcomed so warmly by the woman at the counter. She was lovely.I’m about my coffee and I have to say the coffee is excellent. Bold and flavorful. Best I’ve had in a long time.We did not eat however they had a selection of breakfast and lunch that looked appealing. Some healthy choices like avocado toast, oatmeal etc. A sweet find and we’ll go back again.

Wow, wow, wow! The menu is small but that’s always a good sign. I got the bagel sandwich with smoked trout and cream cheese, and I literally ordered another one right after—it was that good! The chef who prepared my sandwiches was also such a sweet guy. Plus I love all the other little things they sell in there.

Adorable café with friendly staff and delicious drinks! My husband had a s'mores latte that they had as a special and he is still raving about it. I had a plain latte which was good and as-expected. They had plenty of vegan/gluten-free options in their grab-and-go section; sadly we didn't try any of their made-to-order items. The café also has a gift shop area with some nice apparel. Simply put, this place has good vibes.Dietary restrictions: They had plenty of gluten free/vegan options.Kid-friendliness: There was a small TV that was playing Hocus Pocus and several kids were in the cafe when we went.

So cute! We only stopped for coffees but we’ll have to come back to eat. Great coffee, lovely space, very friendly, and also great handcrafted items for sale like soaps, bug repellants, and specialty food items. Couldn’t resist some little decal stickers. We’ll look forward to coming back when we’re in town!
